Guest Designer ~ Candace Zentner

Happy Friday, everyone!  It has been a super crazy week, but I'm happy to say that we arrived safely in Colorado, have found a beautiful home to rent, got the kiddos enrolled in school, and should  hopefully have all of our stuff delivered next week sometime.  Whew!  I can't wait for things to get back to normal so I can start crafting and designing again.

Thankfully, my wonderful DT members are helping me out over the next few weeks by guest designing for me.  This week, I have this pretty engagement card to share with you that Candace Zentner from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses created.  Here it is:

Candace used the Christmas Brights Digital Paper Collection for all of the patterned papers on her card:  Christmas Brights Flourish, Christmas Brights Candycane, and Christmas Brights Circles & Spots.  She got the sweet champagne glasses from the Champagne Cutting Files set.

You can check out all of the details of Candace's sweet card by visiting her blog post HERE.  Please stop by and give her some bloggy love.  :)

Also, I found a little time to create some freebies for you.  Here they are. Just click on the photos to go to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store to download them.

Now, I need everyone to cross their fingers and wish upon a star that I will have time to create some new files for next week and that I'll get my crafty stuff back so I can create something SOON!  Send good crafty vibes my way! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great weekend, everyone!

I Love You Balloon ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge Feb. 8

TGIF!!!  It's time for another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge.  The challenge this time is to use a die cut of a balloon on your project.  Here's what I created:

The giraffe and balloon on this A2 sized card came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Safari Love Cutting Files Set.  I added some stitching lines to the cuts so the giraffe looks like a stuffed animal.  The background shape on the card came from the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files.  I added a sentiment from Pink by Design's Love Always Stamp Set, some ribbon from 3 Girl JAM, and lots of ink, and my card was all done!  I hope you like it.

Now, it's your turn!  Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own project that uses a die cut of a balloon.  We can't wait to see what you create!

I have a winner from last week's SOUS blog hop:

I left a comment for you on your blog...be sure to e-mail me your mailing address so I can send out your prize. :)

We are moving back to the States next week, so what is left of my craft supplies is being mailed to our new city.  So, I won't have any projects to share with you for a while.  I will, of course, have new files for you, and I have some posts from my Design Team and some Guest Designers to share with you.  So, you will still be hearing from me.  Here's hoping our search for a home goes smoothly so we can get all settled in and I can start crafting again soon. :)  I do have a Friday Freebie ready for you today, though!

And, there's an AWESOME sale going on now in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful weekend!!!

You've Got My Heart on a String

Hey, everyone!  It's time for another Not-a-Card Friday over at Pink by Design.  We created non-card projects that go along with this week's RAINBOW theme.  Here's the gift box I created:

I found this sweet little handled gift bag in the Silhouette Online Store, and I used a heart from the PPPR Cupid Cutting Files Set to cut a hole in the front.  Then, I created a rainbow with some Divine Twine by winding different colors around a scrap piece of kraft cardstock.  Then, I adhered the piece to the inside of the bag with some foam tape.  I added a sentiment from Pink by Design's Be Mine Stamp Set and some hearts and dots from Pink by Design's Sprinkles Stamp Set, and my little gift bag was all done!

You still have some time to link up your own project using a RAINBOW or RAINBOW colors.  You could win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design!

PBD Technique Wednesday

Hey, everyone!  I'm back with another Pink by Design project to share with you.  Today, we're showcasing projects that use a layered die cut.  I know, I know...most die cuts are layered, but they can really be made special by using foam tape or pop dots to pop up certain layers.  Add ink to that, and your die cut will really shine!  I created a fun birthday card that goes right along with our Rainbow theme for this week.  Here it is:

This fun cupcake came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Birthday Panda Cutting Files.  I popped up all of the rainbow colored icing layers with pop dots.  I stamped this sentiment from Pink by Design's Birthday, Birthday Stamp Set on a shape from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  The background shape is from the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files.  I added lots of ink and some doodle lines, and my card was all done.

This card goes perfectly with our current Pink by Design Challenge: RAINBOW!!!  You can play along by linking up your rainbow-themed  project below:

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Simple Banner Shapes to create this rainbow-colored banner with some scraps from my scrap box.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design's To the Moon Stamp Set.  I added some ink, some twine, and some washi tape, and my simple card was all done.  I hope you like it!

Now, it's your turn!   Link up your own RAINBOW themed project below.  You have until Saturday night to link up your project for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the Pink by Design Store.  We can't wait to see what you create!
