Design Team Day!!!

Happy Wednesday!  I'm so happy that it's time for another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team Day!  YAY!  I won't dilly are our projects:

I used the new Day at the Beach Cutting Files to create this little card.  I added a sentiment from Pink by Design's Sandy Toes Stamp Set, some ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and some doodles, and my card was all done!

Now, here's what my ultra talented DT came up with.  It would be wonderful if you could take a minute to pop by their blogs to leave them a sweet comment. :)

You Brighten My Day & a FREEBIE!!!

TGIF, everyone! I have a quick little tag to share with you today.  I have to tell you that I'm loving the Print-and-Cut function on my Silhouette Cameo.  It really makes creating projects so quick and easy.  Here's my tag:

I created this tag using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Cool Sun Cutting Files (this week's freebie) and the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files.  I printed and cut all of the elements on this tag. For the sun, I just created an offset around it and cut it out with a slight white outline.  I really like this makes it look like a sticker, and it's perfect when you want to cut a file at a really small size. I also used digital papers from the PPPR Sunny Skies Digital Paper Collection.  The lovely sentiment is from the Pink by Design Friends to the End Stamp Set.   I added some pretty crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM, some doodles, and some glossy accents (to the glasses), and my quick tag was all done.

This project would be perfect for two challenges that are going on now:

Here's a link to this week's Friday Freebie.  This file will be free for one week, then it will move to the 99 Cent Downloads Section of the PPPR Store.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back next week with more projects and some new files for you.  Have a great weekend!!

Hello, Sunshine!

Happy Hump Day, everyone!  I have a quick card to share with you today that I created to go along with Pink by Design's Up, Up, and Away Challenge for this week.  Here it is:

To create this super easy card, I first stamped my sentiment from Pink by Design's Rain or Shine Stamp Set on white card stock and colored the sun in with my Copic markers.  Next, I printed some paper from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sunny Skies Honeycomb Digital Paper Pack, inked the edges with some fluid chalk ink,  and adhered it to a kraft card base.  I then added some strips of coordinating washi tape that I had on hand and popped on my sentiment with some foam tape.  Then, the card was all done!  So easy!

This card is perfect for the Pink by Design Up, Up, and Away Challenge.  You can link up any project that makes you think of "up".  My little sun is in the sky, know.  Anyway, link your project below for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pink by Design. :)

PBD Up, Up, & Away Challenge

Hey, everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  It's time for another Pink by Design Challenge.  YAY!  The challenge theme this time is Up, Up, & Away.  So, you can link up any project that makes you think of UP...something with skies, balloons, kites, sun, stars, name it! Here's what I created for the challenge:

This sweet sentiment is from Pink by Design's Illuminate Stamp Set.  I got the clouds and  balloon from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Patriotic Balloon Cutting Files Set.  I "erased" the stars on the balloon and filled the pieces with digital papers.  Then I print and cut it in one it's sort-of like a sticker.  Those papers and the other patterns on the card cam from the PPPR Spring Fling Digital Paper Collection.  I added a few doodles, and my card was all done.

Now, it's your turn!  Head over to the Pink by Design Blog to see what the other DT members created this week.  Then, link up your own Up, Up, & Away project there or at the end of this post.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back on Wednesday with another project to share. :)

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Summer Fun Blog Hop

Hey, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Summer Blog Hop.  The PPPR Design Team and I have created all sorts of summery projects using PPPR Files, and we'll be sharing them with you today.  Also, if you hop through, you'll have the chance to win some great blog candy.  Today also starts another monthly challenge (more on that, later).  Here's what I created for our hop:

I combined a few cutting files sets and some digital paper packs to create this silly little card. It was really easy to put together, and all I had to add was a fun sentiment, some pretty ribbon, and some Glossy Accents for the goggles.  Here are all of the products I used on my card:

Glossy Accents

Our hop also kicks off our 2nd monthly challenge.  YAY!  The theme this month guessed it...Summer Fun.  Create anything that reminds you of summer using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files, and link it up.  Here are all of the details of the challenge:

  1. The project must be Summer Fun-themed.  Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons products must be the focus of the project.
  2. Please link to your actual blog post...not to your blog.  If you don't have a blog, you can add a photo of your project to the Summer Fun Challenge photo folder in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Project Parade Facebook Group.
  3. You can enter as many different Summer Fun projects as you want for more chances to win.
  4. The challenge will run for 3 weeks.  You must link up your project by 11:55 pm CST on Saturday, August 10, 2013.
  5. One random winner of a $10 Gift Certificate to PPPR will be chosen.  Our Design Team will also choose our PPPR Top 3.  Winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
The Linky will be at the end of this post. :)

Design Team Day & Challenge Winners

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  I can't believe it's already the middle of July.  Summer is just flying by!  I'm so excited to share with you all of the awesome Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons projects the PPPR Design Team created this week.  They are amazing!  I also have the winners of the PPPR Get Well Challenge to announce, so be sure to stay tuned for that.

First of all, here's the project I created for today:

These little s'mores came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) S'mores Cutting Files set.  I printed and cut the layers, keeping the graham cracker layers grouped together so the holes on the cracker would show up, but I'd have a smooth surface to stamp those cute little faces on.  Those faces came from the Peachy Keen June 2013 Stamp of the Month.  I think they are perfect for these little love-s'mores!  I colored in the stamps with my white Gelly Roll pen and some other gel pens I have on hand.  I also added some chalk to their little cheeks.  The thought bubble is from the PPPR Speech Bubbles Cutting Files set, and I got the heart from the PPPR Safari Love Cutting Files set.  I created the card base with a shape from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 2 Cutting Files set.  That sweet sentiment is from Pink by Design's Woodland Critters Stamp Set.  I added some doodle marks, and my little card was all done!  I love how it turned out...those s'mores are just too cute!

Okay, are the fantastic projects my Design Team came up with.  It would be wonderful if you could stop by their blogs to leave them some sweet comments. :)
