Hello my crafty friends--Sarah  here with you all today!!  Today I am sharing a couple of birthday cards with you all!  I am soooo behind on getting cards in the mail... just when I think I am ahead of the game....I'm not :)  Lots of things happening around my house so I've been a bit busy and been neglecting my crafting!  Hoping in the next couple of weeks to have things packed up and then unpacked and settled in in order to get back to crafting!!

This little shark is super stinkin' cute and perfect for our godson's birthday!

Shadow Box Fireplace Card

Katy here with An Inside To My Heart with a card of sorts to share!

I created this 3D card using the PPPR Shadow Box Card 2 and the Fireplace cutting file. I tweaked the file a little using Cricut Design Space so that the battery-operated tealight would show through the back.

------------------------------------------
There are a bunch of little details that make this card so unique...let's start with the layers that create so much dimension...then I added velum behind the flame so the tealight would light it up (here you can see the opaqueness).
----------------------------------------------------------
Here's the top view...I used a 2-1/2" circle punch to punch a hole in the back so the tealight could fit under and shine through...
---------------------------------------------------
Here's a look at the back of the card...this is where I would write a sentiment!
-------------------------------------------------------
And...this card is made to lay flat for mailing! You would still want to add extra postage so they'll hand-cancel and nothing will get torn.

Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget that you have until December 5th to enter a Holiday-themed project using PPPR files into our Monthly Challenge! You could win some FREE PPPR files too! And...it doesn't have to be Christmas...it can be ANY HOLIDAY!

Here are the files I used and the links to go grab them:

Joy to the World

Happy Wednesday Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons fans!  It's Michelle from Purple Monkey Moments, and I am here to share a project that I created with some amazing PPPR files

Tis the season for me to make Christmas tags, and I love how cute these little guys are:

I am having some issues with sizing Print and Cuts, not sure why, but I seem to be making things big.  In my mind, the sentiment on this tag said "Joy to the World" - but there was just not enough room.  Despite my sizing issues, I am really happy with how this tag turned out!

I used the Santa Earth file for this tag.  He is ADORABLE!!

The tag base is from Layered Labels 1.  This really is a must have file.  I use it all the time, it is SO versatile.  I also used some of Lisa's cute Digi Paper as my patterned paper.  It is from the Christmas Brights collection.

You can see all of the cute SVG files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons in the SHOP and be sure to check out all the details of my card over on my blog.

A la prochaine,

HB2U

Hi there, Nicole here today!!  I hope you were inspired by our "Happy Holidays" blog hop this weekend!!  Today I have a birthday card to share with you.  It is a rather simple card but it was created especially for my friend who celebrated her 50th birthday this weekend.  She is a baker and I thought this would be the perfect card for her :-)

I used one of the girls from the "Dress Up Girls 1" cutting files.  I cropped her hair shorter to look more like my friend's hair.  The baker's outfit is from "Dress Up Girl Cook Outfit" cutting files.

I used the cupcake background paper since my friend's specialty is baking cupcakes!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  I hope you have been able to do a little shopping during the PPPR sale!!
