Don't forget this weekend's FREEBIE...it won't be free tomorrow!

And...there's still time to play along with our Spring Break Monthly Challenge...

Mushroom House

Leah with you today and hoping you all had the most blessed Easter weekend! We certainly did at our house. And speaking of houses, my little card features one of my very favorite single image files here at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon. The darling mushroom house that is part of the Gnomies Cutting Files. I'll admit, I used this file very often. From a recent card using the sweet bird nest to using the lantern in Halloween projects! So fun!
In a simple design you can make more impact by paying attention to the details. For example, inking all the layers. That really helps each layer stand out more. The most attention was put into the mushroom house. In total there is well over 30 layers!

You can use foam tape for dimension, which I've done with the green hill and house. Or you can cut multiples of the same layer. For example the red on the roof was cut 3x and glued together. The doorstep and windowsill is 5 layers. It's just a different way to build dimension and layers, and interest! Adding an embossed sentiment just wraps up this super sweet card!
And the sweetest cut files ever...

Guest Designer ~ Caroline Scranton and FREEBIE FRIDAY!

Hey, everyone! Hoping you're having a very "hoppy" Friday! That's very punny...punny you say? Yes, it is and it's a great lead into this week's Guest Designer, Caroline Scranton. Caroline has a sweet little blog out on the world wide web where she inspires others with her creativity, amazing detail and kind words. You can find her here: Card Creations by Caroline

She is, of course, in the spring spirit and is celebrating Easter as well in her designs she's sharing with you on this Good Friday.

Take a look at these:

Caroline used Hoppy Easter Cutting Files, Spring Garden Cutting Files and  Side Step Card Cutting Files to create this AMAZING CARD! The details, patterns and colors are perfect! This card is so whimsical and springy! When that arrives in someone's mailbox, that will be an instant smile!

It certainly is a happy spring with this card! How adorable is that little duckling?!?!?! Pssst....you can create this card or one like it using Little Duckling Cutting Files

This week, I've been focusing on getting caught up on some things we've been neglecting to do around the house. You know how it is. If I didn't take some time to get caught up, this stuff would just keep piling up. So, no new files for you this week (except for a freebie, of course!).

Before I get to this week's freebie, I'd like to invite you to join us for our Spring Break Challenge that's going on right now. Just link up your spring or spring break themed project featuring PPPR files for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store. You can find out all of the details about the challenge and link up your project HERE.

Here's this week's FRIDAY FREEBIE. This file will be available as a free download for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.  This freebie includes SVG., DXF, .JPG, and .PNG files. YAY!

Easter Gift Tags

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project today I made two Easter Gift Tags using PPPR Bunny Conversation Cutting Files along with PPPR New Year Tag Cutting Files. After cutting out the tags I embossed them with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and went over them with some Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I did the print and cut for the bunny sentiments and added some glossy accents to the eyes. The heart buttons are super old and I added some embroidery floss to them.
I will also be entering this project into the Die Cuttin Divas Button Challenge going on now HERE.

Also we have a Spring Break Challenge going on now till Saturday, April 2nd, 2016.  For more info and to link up click HERE.

Let a Smile be Your Umbrella

Happy Wednesday Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons fans!  It's Michelle from Purple Monkey Moments, and I am here to share a project that I created with some amazing PPPR files

A week or so ago, Lisa created a cute little Umbrella file.  I decided that I needed to make something with it, it is TOO adorable!!!

Isn't she fabulous?!?  I decided to sparkle up the little dots on the tips of the umbrella.  I liked the little bit of bling it added to my card - to bad you can't see it very well in the picture...  You can find the cutie umbrella HERE.

I decided to make a little shape card for her.  I chose one of the shapes from Layered Labels 1.  I just duplicated the shape, and welded them together.  Easy peasy :)

You can see all of the cute SVG files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons in the SHOP and be sure to check out all the details of my card over on my blog.

A la prochaine,

Just a walk in the park layout

Hi fellow crafters..
It's Nanné here to share a cute layout I created using some photos of my husband as we took a nice walk through a park here in Finland a few summers ago..

Here is the layout I created:

I had so much fun putting this cutey together..

how about some close ups and details:

I found a font in my stash, cut it with my cameo and then flipped the letters onto the back of some corrugated cardstock, traced the edges and then cut with scissors. I then inked the edges with some distress ink..

I added lots of layers to my layout by putting my paper piecing's together using foam tape..

and the bees are just too cute for words..

Here are the cutting files I used to create my layout:

Thank you for stopping by today..
till next time
hugs
Nanné

You Go Girl!

Happy Monday!!  Nicole here today to share a card I created.  I am a "fitness coach" and recently had a customer achieve a great success after following a fitness/diet regime with me for 3 weeks.  Since she is a fellow "crafter" I wanted to send her a card to congratulate her on all of her hard work and discipline.  Here is the card I made for her -

To create my card I used the following Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files -

"Workout Girl Cutting files"

Lisa has created a lot of great fitness related files to play with and I think I will try to create some more cards to have on hand to send out to more of my customers.  Thanks for stopping by today!!
