New File and Freebie Friday

TGIF, everyone! This week, I added a set that I've had a lot of requests for.  Here's what's new in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.

This set was expired by a modern classic that we all know and love. This North Pole Express set is available as Cutting Files, and Digital Clip Art, and it will soon be available as Digital Stamps. 

Also, there's a new FRIDAY FREEBIE in the store. This file will be available as a free download for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.  This freebie includes SVG., DXF, .JPG, and .PNG files. YAY!  

I also want to invite you to a fun hop that is going on Wednesday.  Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons is teaming up with Timeless Twine for a Holiday Blog Hop.  We'll have lots of holiday inspiration for you, and there will be some amazing prizes offered, too. Design Team Day ~ 12-4-13

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Welcome to another Design Team Day here at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I have so many amazing projects to share with you, so I'll just get right to it. :)

Today I want to share a card I created for my daughter's best friend.  My daughter picked out the image and sentiment she wanted, and I did the rest.  The silly little monkey is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Birthday Critters Cutting Files set, and I opted to do a print and cut to save some time (last week was SUPER busy around here).  I just changed the colors of her balloon, hat, and banana to match the background paper. I created the card base using a shape from the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files set, and I filled the inside of the shape in with a pattern from the PPPR Spring Fling Chevron Digital Paper Pack. Then, I created an overlapping rectangle and filled it with a pattern from the PPPR Spring Fling Polka Dots Digital Paper Pack.  I added a sentiment from Pink by Design's 29 and Holding stamp set and some pretty ribbon and enamel dots, and my little card was all done.

Design Team Day ~ Nov. 20, 2013

Hey, everyone!  It's time for another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team Day!  Yippee!!!  So, without further ado.....

For my project, I created this pretty shaped Christmas Card.  I used this week's freebie...the Holly Wreath Cutting Files for this one.  I replaced the berries and the bow, though, with some pretty rhinestones and some ribbon.  I also embossed the wreath using my Cuttlebug Holly Ribbons embossing folder.  The pretty little sentiment is from Pink by Design's Merry Be Your Days Half Pint Stamp Set.

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Superhero Blog Hop

Happy Saturday, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Superhero Blog Hop. The awesome ladies on the PPPR Design Team and I created some SUPER projects using PPPR files, and we are so excited to share them with you today.  We also have some yummy blog candy for this hop, and I have a FREEBIE just for hoppers!  YAY!  And, of course, we'll be kicking off another monthly challenge. So, be sure to read on to find out how to join in on the fun.  

First, I'd like to share the projects I created for the hop.  I decided to make 2 different cards.  Here they are:

I created this card base using the PPPR Center Panel Step Card Cutting Files.  The superhero and sidekicks came from the PPPR Superheroes Trio and PPPR Sidekick Trio Cutting Files sets.  I decided to print and cut them with a white border for that "sticker" type of look.  That also made creating the card a lot faster.  I added some cool jute ribbon and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Super Hero Stamp Set, and my first card was all done.

My second card base is from the PPPR Sunburst Shapes Cutting Files set.  The superhero is from the PPPR Superheroes Trio 2 Cutting Files set, and the speech bubble is from the PPPR Speech Bubbles Cutting Files set.  I added a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Super Hero Stamp Set and some lightning bolts from Jaded Blossom's My Favorite Wizard Stamp Set and some fun stripey ribbon.
