Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's another Pink by Design day! YAY! Today is the day for our Wednesday Technique, and our technique this week is sentiment masking. It's really easy to do! Here's my project:
I used the adorable Pink by Design Sprinkles Stamp Set for this sweet little card. I love this little set. It's a Half Pint, which means it's a 3" x 4" stamp set, so it's really affordable. I colored the image with my Copic markers. I used today's technique to create the bi-colored sentiment. To do this, I simply placed a piece of tape over the word "complete" before applying the black ink to the stamp. Then, I peeled off the tape before stamping it on the paper. Next, I place 2 pieces of tape over the "you" and "me" before applying the red ink to the stamp. Then, I peeled off that tape, lined up the words, and stamped the red part. So easy, and such a fun effect.
The card base came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files Set, and the patterned paper is from the PPPR Natural Love Pattern Pack of Digital Papers. I added lots of ink and some doodles to my card, and it was all done!
Here are the Copic colors I used to color my image:
