Watercolor Flower Arrangement

Hey all! Leah with you today. I have something with an artsy feel to share with you all today. I really was in the mood to do something totally different from my usual layout. I also wanted to play with watercolor. Luckily the watercolor paper cut beautifully with my Silhouette Cameo. I started with laying this out and sizing everything using my design software. This ensured that I had room for the flowers and that I had a general idea on the flower placement.

I used Distress Inks as my watercolor. I squashed the ink directly to a non stick mat and added Perfect Pearls spray and water and painted away! The gold really makes this card classy as well and helped direct me to adding gold pearls into the flower centers.

I just used pieces and parts of the file below, kinda a mix and match thing.

Water, water, everywhere!

Hi! I hope you're having a great day! It's Ruth here to share a project I created for my Hawaiian vacation album. I only used part of one file, but it was so perfect I didn't see the need for anything else:
I used this file:
and couldn't be happier with how perfect it is for my layout about a place where the ocean was beating up on the lava at the shore.

Do you know this would be a great project for the current "Under the Sea" challenge? Well, it would and I hope you've already thought about how you have a project you could easily enter into this challenge! Please check out the details where it says "monthly challenge" above.

Please feel free to stop by my blog for more details about how I created this page: Paper and Musings.

Happy crafting!

Hey Girly

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project today I made a A2 size Ice cream tub shape card. I got the Ice cream tub from PPPR "Ice Cream Treats" cutting files. I stamped the Ice cream with Peachy Keen Christmas in July Face stamp set and chalk the edges. The sentiment is from is from Pink By Design "Simply Everything" stamp set. I used versamark  ink and white embossing powder to stamp the sentiment. For the small splatters I used water color paint to add them. I also added the bowl of ice cream onto a action wobble

What I used:
PPPR "Ice Cream Treats" cutting files
Peachy Keen Christmas in July Face stamp set
Pink By Design "Simply Everything" stamp set
Versamark  Ink

Congratulations, Nancy! Email me at lisanorris at prettypapergraphics dot com to claim your prize. :)

Holy Guacamole!

Happy Wednesday Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons fans!  It's Michelle from Purple Monkey Moments, and I am here to share a project that I created with some amazing PPPR files

A few months ago, Pretty Cute Stamps released a stamp set called Taco Time.  I adored the set and knew I had to buy it.  I emailed Lisa to ask if she was planning to make some coordinating SVG files, and she was!  So I waited patiently, and bought THOSE too.  Here is the first card I created with that set:

Is that not the cutest bowl of guacamole you have ever seen???  I just love how the nacho chip is peeking out the top.  This set of SVG files, called "Mexican Food" has some SERIOUSLY adorable cuts on it!  Look a the moustache on that taco - I think that's the next thing I will cut from this cute set!

The perfect sentiment is, of course from Taco Time from Pretty Cute Stamps.  The sentiments make me laugh, and make my kids laugh - how can you go wrong making people laugh?

You can see all of the cute SVG files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons in the SHOP and be sure to check out all the details of my card over on my blog, HERE.

A la prochaine,
