PBD Brown, Pink, and White Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's time for another Pink By Design Challenge!  This week's challenge is to create a project using the colors brown, pink, and white.  Such a pretty color combo, and it's perfect for those Valentine's Day cards you've been working on.  Here's my project:

This adorable little submarine, the fish, and the sentiment all come from Pink by Design's Hubba, Hubba Stamp set.  Aren't they so cute?  I colored them with my Copic Markers.  The card shape is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files Set.  I put the submarine on an Action Wobble:

Here are the Copic markers I used to color the sub and fish:

Now, it's your turn!  Link up your own brown, pink, and white project below for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design.  It is not required that you use PBD stamps, but we always love to see what you create with them.  You have until midnight Saturday, January 19, to link up.  We'll announce a winner on Sunday, January 20th.  We can't wait to see what you create!

Talk Nerdy to Me

Happy Monday, everyone!  I hope you're having a wonderful day so far!  Today is my Design Team day over at Action Wobbles, and I have a quick little card to share with you today.  Here it is:

I got this fun little image and sentiment from Pink by Design's Chick with Brains stamp set.  I love how quirky this little chick looks, and I thought he'd be perfect for an Action Wobble card.  I colored the image with my Copic markers.  The notebook paper cut came from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Notebook Pages Cutting Files, and I filled it with a pattern from the PPPR School Days Pattern Pack.  The sentiment is stamped on a shape from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files set.  I added some ink, some twine, and some brads, and my little card was all done.

Of course, I had to take an action shot for you.  I just love how fun Action Wobbles make a card!  You can purchase your own Action Wobbles from the World of Wobble Site or from the Royal Castle Shoppe.

Here are the Copic colors I used to color the image:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back Wednesday with PPPR Design Team Day and more projects from me, too!  Have a great day!

Take Every Chance

Happy Monday!!!  Today is my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have a card to share with you that was so fun to make!  Here it is:

I wanted to create a non-frilly card to go along with this sentiment from the Pink by Design August 2012 Stamp of the Month: Illuminate.  Here's how I made the card:

I created this card using a 4x6 arrows card that I found in the Silhouette Online Store.  I think it was intended to be used with Project Life, but I think it makes a great starting place for a card. I made 2 different sizes of shadows using the offset feature (the white shadow and the kraft shadow.  Then, I mirrored the larger kraft shadow to create the card base.  I also made a copy of the rounded rectangle part of the arrows card and cut it out of the white cardstock I use for my Copics.  Then, I used a bunch of different colors of Copics to create this blended spectrum background.  I love how it turned out, and I love what my Copics can do!!!  Then, I popped up arrows with foam tape to create a little dimension.  I stamped the sentiment on a chipboard shape, added some doodle lines, and my card was all done!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll have lots of new files to share with you on Wednesday, plus I have a fun announcement to make!  I'll hope you come by! :)
