Project life-Week 1 by Nanné

Hi fellow crafters..
Any Project life fans out here? :)
It's Nanné here today to share my daily post with you..
At the beginning of the year, I tell myself to keep up with the weeks and do project life..
I've started every January but then slowly forget :)
Hopefully this year will be different..
I'm here today to share my first project life page with you and I created it using some of the fun winter themed and project life themed cutting files..

Here is what I created:

I don't have photos yet for this pocket page, but I did create some of the photo mats where I can slip in some photos with ease..

How about some close ups of the cards:

I love these monthly cut out cards, make creating these pocket pages so much quicker.

used some free fonts to create a week page..

I love coffee, so of course I have to add a coffee cup to my PL card :)
and that walrus was just cute to pass up..

I added a journaling card and though the lantern looked cute with it, since we burn a bunch of lanterns outside since it gets dark real early during this time of year here in Finland..
I also added a few photo mats to add some photos to..

Here are the cutting files I used to create my Project Life cards:

and theirs my Project life page for you :)
so much fun to create your own by using some fun prints and die cuts..
I absolutely love creating my own, they are more personal than buying the ready made cards..
plus, you can use any prints and colors.. Oh yea!!! LOL
Thanks for stopping by today
Till next time

Christmas cookies: cookies (snowman, stockings and gingerbread men)
Java Great Day: coffee cup and coffee pot
Layered Labels 2: Background label

I really like the two new gift card holders that Lisa recently created.  This is the folded one, and you can find it HERE.

I decided to decorate it with the cute coffee cup from the Java Great Day cut set.  I just LOVE that set!  The faces are all SO cute.  You can buy your own HERE.

You can see all of the cute SVG files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons in the SHOP and be sure to check out all the details of my card over on my blog.

Life has it's Perks

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here today and I'm so excited about sharing my project with you today..
Last summer my husband and I took a quick vacation to Florida from Finland and ended up having a lay over in London, England.. Where I was able to enjoy several different cups of coffee at a pub at the airport..
I decided it was time to scrap one of those photos that I had taken before enjoying my cup of joy (joe)..I am a lover of all things coffee..LOL

Here is what I created:

I decided to stick with browns and oranges cause of the logo on my cup of coffee :)
I also wanted to distress the background paper too look as if I had set my coffee up on it, thought it looked better than just a plain piece of white cardstock..

How about a few close ups and some details:

since I only took one photo, I decided to print it twice and then frame it.. These polaroid frames are great for that and you can get those in the Photo Frames cutting file..

This cute little gal, well I actually nabbed her from the Valentines Kids cutting file, she is actually holding a heart, but I wanted her to hold my two favorite things instead..LOL
the coffee pot and cup-to-go are in the Java Great Day cutting file..

I created my own title phrase using some free fonts I found only and for some added detail, I cut some scalloped trim to background cause I felt like it needed a little something extra.. The scalloped border is in the Borders 2 cutting file. (which is one of my most used files).

and finally, added some of the branches from the Winter Cardinal cutting file, some coffee beans and then percolator from Java Great Day cutting file.

and their you have my coffee themed layout..
I want to thank you for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest project :)
Hope you have a scrap-tastic week

Mr. Coffee

Did you all have a good weekend? Certainly hope so! Leah Schaeffer here sharing a couple Father's Day cards. I made these for my dad and also my father in law. Kinda simple but sometimes simple=perfect (for a guy!) Don't you think!
I started with some fun retro paper I've had forever in my stash and a few "accessories". Now the glasses does come on the file so all I really added from another file was the mustache (for my I've only seen him without one twice in my life, daddy!) I love that the Java Great Day file comes with a few "single" coffee beans as well as a border. I like that little extra detail for the card.

Shoot! I cracked the glasses! LOL! I simply couldn't seem to get a good photo of the Glossy Accent liquid glue used as "glass" in the glasses. When I thought this was dry and had laid them under a book to flatten out a bit and when I pulled it off...I "broke" the glass. Too late to go backwards though so my father in law will still be getting this! =)

A short and sweet post from me today, just enough to get your Monday going! Right? See you guys soon! Warmly,
