Happy Birthday!

Good Morning!

Before I show you my project today, I just wanted to let you know that today is my last project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I decided to step down for a bit since I have so much going on in my personal life right now.  We are currently in the process of trying to buy a house (You know how chaotic that can be) and I also started working part time.  I just wanted to say Thank you to Lisa for having me on her team.  She is an amazing designer and so much fun to work with.  I really have enjoyed working with her and her files.  Once things settle down for me I will start crafting again.

Now on to my project.  :)

For the card base I used the Tri-Fold Shutter Card Cutting Files.  The Ostrich is from the Safari Love 2 Cutting Files.  The mouse is from the Birthday Critters Cutting Files.  The present & hat are from the Party Items Cutting Files

This mouse is just too darn cute.

Here is a picture of the card folded up.

Hey.... Y'all

Happy Wednesday!

Do you ever buy some stuff with good intentions on using it but then never do?  I did that a while back with a couple of stamp sets.  I bought these stamps so long ago that I don't even remember who made them.  Oops.  I finally remembered the name of the company (K Andrews Designs) and thought it was about time that I finally make the projects that I was planning on making.

The card base is from the Photo Frames 2 Cutting Files.  The hay is from the Nativity 1 Cutting Files.  The little chick is from the Cute Chicks Cutting Files.  The Farmer Girl is from the On the Farm Cutting Files.   Her face is from Peachy Keen's In the Garden Face Assortment.

Nanne also used the Farm Girl on her layout yesterday.  You can check it out here.

Melisa here with another Valentine's Day card to share with you.  I thought I would get a head start on making Valentine's Day cards this year.  I'm going to enter this into the Made with Love Challenge.  You can find all the details about the Challenge HERE.

I used the NEW Friday Freebie called Made with Love Tag Cutting Files for my card base.  In the Silhouette Studio I cut the top of the tag off and then replicated the shape.  Then I welded them together to form my card base.

The pig is from the Farm Critters Cutting Files.  Her bow and the hearts are from the Safari Love Cutting Files.  They are on the Elephant in that cutting file.  The grass is from the Flower Assortment Cutting Files.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Funny Valentine Stamp Set.

You're the Bread to my Butter

Happy New Year's Eve!!

Before I get to my project today I just want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Years.  My hubby, kids and I will be spending the holiday at his parents house.  Do you have any special plans for the holiday?

In January my hubby and I will have been together 15 years.  In July we will be married for 10 years.  I thought I would make a scrapbook layout about us.

For the shape of the pattern paper in the background I used the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files.  The Bread and Butter are from the Bread & Butter Cutting Files.
The title is from one of my Quickutz fonts that I've had forever.  The twine is Pink Sorbet from The Twinery.

Sweets and Treats

Good Morning!

Can you believe we are already in October?  I sure can't and since Halloween will be here before I know I decided to try and get ahead of the game and start making treats for my boy's classes.

For the topper of my treat bag I used the Handled Treat Bag Topper Cutting Files.  I was able to get 9 of these toppers from each 12x12 sheet of patterned paper.  Not too bad since I have to make about 90 of these guys.  LOL.

The Caramel Apple is from the Fair Food Cutting Files.  The sentiment spot is from the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  My sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Bewitched Stamp Set.  The twine is Trendy Twine's Orange Licorice.

Summer Fun Layout

Good Morning!

Hope you're having a great week.  My boys went back to school a couple of weeks ago and I thought it would be fun to scrapbook some of their summer pictures.  My boys lived in our pool this summer so I have a lot of pool pictures to scrapbook.

I made the background shapes using the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files and the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files.

The "Fun" part of my title is from the Camping Fun Cutting Files.  I created the shadow behind "Fun" in the Silhouette Studio.  For the "Summer" part of my title I used the Popsicle Fever Cutting Files.  I just cut the "A Taste of" part off of Summer in the Silhouette Studio.

The boy jumping in the pool is from the Diving Boy Cutting Files.  For his face I used Peachy Keen's In the Garden Face Assortment.

Happy Birthday!

Good Morning!

One of my crafty friend's birthday is coming up and I thought I would make her a card.  When I make her cards I like to use die cuts that I know she can use again for a scrapbook layout. Recently she went to the beach with her grandsons so I thought I would make her a beach themed card.

The boy is from the NEW Dress Up Boys 1 Cutting Files.  His swim suit & arm bands are from the NEW Dress Up Boy Swim Suit 1 Cutting File.  The surf board is from the Surf's Up Cutting Files.  The sand is from the Borders 5 Cutting Files.

The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps Sea Life Sentiments.

Don't forget to grab the Friday Freebie.  It goes perfectly with the Surf's Up Cutting Files.   There will be a NEW one on Friday.

You're the flip to my flop

Good Morning!

Hope you're having a great day.  I'm taking the kids to the beach again today so I thought I would make a beach themed card to share with you.

To make the little boy I used the Ukulele Boy from the Aloha Cutting File.  I removed all the flowers, grass skirt and guitar.  Since he didn't have any other clothing I used the swim trunks from the Little Swimmers Cutting File.  I had to stretch them a little bit to get them to fit him.

The sun is from the Sunscreen Cutting File.  The flip flop he is holding is from the Flip Flops Cutting File.  To make the wave I used the Curling Wave from the Surf's Up Cutting File.  I just placed it where I wanted it and then cut the excess off.

The little guy's face is from the Boy Mates Face Assortment by Peachy Keen.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!
