Welcome to Florida

Happy Tuesday fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here today to share a fun little vacation themed layout I created to show case some of our family vacation photos I took while we were visiting family and friends in Florida..

Here is what I created:

love love love that toothy crab..LOL I think he just "made" this layout..

How about some close ups:

Added some fun detail to the corner..
I know I love to just relax when I'm on vacation, how about you?

Added the three surfboards, since we always drive by the beach.. I'm not a big sun bather, fear of skin cancer, but we always take in the sights while in Florida.. It really is beautiful there..

and my happy crab holding the welcome sign..LOL

now for the details of how you can create this layout:
here are the cutting files I used:

Spring is in the air-Project Life

Hi fellow crafters..
I'ts Nanné here today to share a  Project life spread I created using some of the cute cutting files from the PPPR store..

Here is what I created:

this is the left side of the page

Last week we had pretty much had our first week of spring..
I want to show case what we did last week, bu adding some fun cutting files to my spread..
for example, My husband oiled our wooden patio and furniture, he made a holy mess outside and had to have his beer while doing it..  He also ended up complaining the whole time, so I had to add the cute little angry crab along with my phrase, cause I love him even when he's being a little crabby..LOL

and now for the right side:

I baked some chocolate chip cookies and as I was eating a few, my dog was begging for some and barking at the crows that were flying around our back yard..  I added the sun cause it was a sunny week and we had high temperatures at 10 celcius (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit, but its still a bit cold).  I did add the fence, half painted with the paint can of black wood oil, since that is what I ended up buying..  the umbrella is cause it did rain for a few days last week and the tree's are starting to bloom, so had to add some flowers to my spread..

Here are the files I used to create my Project life pages:

fence
Trees
pale set

flower pots and planter

Crab
Chunky arrow

Umbrellas and Sun with clouds

Flowers
Leaves

Cookies
Crow

Beer bottle
tag
Photo mats

Rake

and there ya go fellow crafters..
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time..
Have a scrap-tastic week
hugs

Yes! School is back!

Hey guys, Leah here today! You ready for "back to school"? Well we go back a week from today! Whoa! To celebrate this (and yes, I say celebrate! LOL) I made a couple cards for the kids new teachers! I used the Moody Crab and Fishy Friends Cutting Files!
At first I wasn't sure how I wanted to do this background, I knew that die cutting so many fish would be pretty time consuming so I decided to make my own background paper using the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo. I chose my cut file, separated the layers and chose my colors for the fish and crab. Then printed. For some more interest I also printed a few extra fish and a few separate layers for the crab so that those could be popped. This would have been fun as a single layer card but the extra layers really help it pop!!!

 (inside of card on left)

This was an easy card to make. The time consuming part was just moving the school of fish around to be spaced as I liked, after that it went together quickly. The crab did take a little time because I cut multiple layers of the eyes and teeth and put it together with different thicknesses of foam tape. The only embellishing I did was to add some white gel pen detailing.

Thanks for coming by today! Have a great one!
