You Are So Tweet ❤

Good morning! Hope this chilly Wednesday (well, here in the Mitten state!) finds you well. I am hanging onto what remains of winter as tightly as I can, because it is my favorite. Spring is "meh" and we all know I loathe summer.

I am a huge fam of smiling food and smiling animals. Today I'm sharing a card of the smiling animal variety with you. This card is a perfect fit for any wintery greeting you need to send.

Thanks for letting me share with you! ❤

Sweet Wishes ♥

The world is in dire need of kindness.
I mean it.

One of the easiest ways you can do this is a card, a simple card popped into the mail. It's a lost art of kindness, do you remember how felt to get something other than a bill in the mail? I think it's so important to offer small kindness whenever you can in this life, it's not always easy, but try, always try.

I am sharing this card with you today, it's a "sweet wishes" card. It can be an all encompassing general card for many occasions

It has a few PPPR files thrown in there for good measure!

Thanks for letting me share with you today!

Let's Eat Cake!

Happy Thursday!

💖

Hope your Thursday is shaping up to be a good one!
I'm sharing a festive card for you today! It's a little different than usual...the cupcake is from Pretty Cute Stamps (which is Lisa's other beautiful company!)
I combined my two of my favorites *{Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons & Pretty Cute Stamps}* together to bring you this card. I am reaching back in the fault with some of the cutting files, but I want you to see that you can create a great layered card with repetitive files, I know you've been seeing these files on my cards a lot, but I can't stop using them...they are so versatile, easy to layer and so classic.

Thank you for stopping by and checking this card out today! I hope I've inspired you or at least made you smile!! Have a great day and stop by tomorrow for a great freebie and update from Lisa!

Kind to the Core

For some of us, school is looming. For some of us, school has already begun. I'm in no way endorsing the fun that is school, however, I really do look forward to the routine again. I like routine and counting on days to have some semblance of normalcy, even if they are planned down to the minute. With a freshman on the Varsity Football team and a 7th grader on the brink of "take over the world"...routine is sounding like sweet victory.

As you can see, I was inspired by school things and smiling food.  I used Nerdy Apple Cutting Files, A2 Card Bases 3 Cutting Files, School Planner Clips Cutting Files and Scalloped Circle Cutting Files.

Thank you for letting me share with you today and I hope your Back to School expedition goes peacefully and smooth! Have a great Thursday and check back tomorrow for a great freebie!

I Pick You ❤

Stone fruits, they are the worst and the best. I love them, yet they sometimes give me hives.
Despite being jerk fruits, I love them and continue to unnecessarily torture myself by consuming them. I'm eating delicious cherries from Traverse City (thank you awesome Auntie C) right now, as I sit typing to you...and I don't care at all if I have to take three Benadryl in an hour from now..no..I won't really take three. Disclaimer: I'm an only child, so I tend to be dramatic.

I love stone fruits, I love smiling food. I am combining that love along with some other wonderful Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files to create a smiling food/cheesy pun card with you, because it's not Thursday without one.

Check back tomorrow from some weekly info from Lisa, which includes an awesome freebie, have a great weekend!

☼ You Are My Sunshine! ☼

Happy Thursday!
I hope you are having a really good week!

I'm sharing some sunshine with you on this summery Thursday.

I used one of my favorite files ever because it's so versatile (you can use it for banners, cards, etc.)..A2 Card Base 3 Cutting Files and a cheery sun that Lisa has here in the store as a cutting file or over at Pretty Cute Stamps as a stamp, Rain or Shine Cutting Files or PCS Sunshiny Day.

I used a digi stamp of the sunshine and with water color pencils, finished the design.

Thanks for letting me share, there's a lot going on this weekend..check out the PPPR Facebook page for updates and stay tuned for a fun Friday Freebie!

Hoping you are moving through this week in a good way..and that your weekend will be filled with happy things.

I'm sharing an oldie but a goodie couple of files with you today on the blog, with of course a food pun!

I reached way back in the vault and grabbed Java Great Day Cutting Files and some of Lisa's digital papers as well...they have great texture and they print out amazing! Here are the patterns I used on my card: Natural Love White Polka Dots  and Natural Love Chevron & Stripes.

The pun? I couldn't help myself.

Have a great Thursday!

Birthday Wishes!

Every once in awhile, I like to create cards to print out. I love using PPPR files for everything. Lisa created some pie charts, they are simple, but pack a big punch. I created this card using Pie Charts 1 Cutting Files. Take a look at the perfect way you can add text to the pieces in the chart.

Have a great Thursday and stay tuned for a teacher appreciation inspired gift idea this Friday!
See you here tomorrow!

#lots of LUCK

I embrace any excuse to create St. Patrick's Day things.

This time of year, though I am also very happy to embrace snow, I do like to peer ahead into spring...even if spring leads to summer (booooooo).

I used some awesome Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files to create this little greeting (which also doubles as a door hanger). Files used: Shamrock Faces Cutting Files and Shadow Box Card 1 Cutting Files

To create the "hanger"..punch a hole using a hole punch in the top two scallops. Thread some twine of your choice through the top and tie the ends. I braided mine for some extra detail.

Here's a close up of that sweet shamrock, I have used this shamrock repeatedly, it's one of my very favorites.

Thanks for stopping by today, make sure you head back over for a great Guest Designer and a fabulous freebie!

Life is Pretty Wonderful

When you really stop and look around, life is pretty wonderful. Sometimes we get caught up in the daily chaos or the daily grind and are left feeling deflated, weak or even downright sad.

I know a very smart dog who has some very sound advice if this is you right now.

"Keep looking up...that's the secret of life..." - Snoopy

I've been a bit down lately, so I figured I'd take some of my own advice.

I created this card to share with you, and it's bright and cheery, it also features some awesome PPPR files. You'll find A2 Card Bases 3 Cutting Files and Monarch Butterfly Cutting Files on this card.

I hope you have a great rest of the week. Check back tomorrow for some new files and a freebie! Don't forget that we have an awesome Monthly Challenge going on, and that we are always in need of Guest Designers! You can find the info on the Monthly Challenge by clicking HERE. Hanging onto Christmas ❤

I'm hanging on tightly to Christmas, it went by so fast this year. I was so ready for it to happen. I wanted to soak up every moment of being home and being present with my family and friends.

Except for that, I barely saw my family and friends. Patrick and Mackenzie have basketball, and basketball is all encompassing. I am so happy for them, they are having a great year and playing so well, but it's a 6/7 day kind of activity.

The time I had with them was so very fun, but so very fleeting. I am still pouring over pictures and smiling. Heck, I'm still listening to Christmas music.

I scrapped about our cousin cookie baking day...which is now a new found tradition for some of the Matesowicz girls. Auntie helped us and we had a ton of laughs and the day was filled with magic only the holidays can bring.

I used Christmas Cookies Cutting Files for this layout:

Have a happy Thursday and stay tuned for lots of PPPR goodness, as in an awesome Guest Designer post, a freebie...a BLOG HOP weekend with more freebies and great inspiration.

Owl Be There For You

It's Christmas Eve.
I hope this post finds you happy, healthy and anticipating the joy that Christmas brings, if you don't celebrate Christmas, I wish you happiness, peace and love.

I created one last project to share with you before the end of 2015.
I created a gift for my mom...for Christmas, of course. (Mom, stop looking.)

I used a file that I cannot stop using, I think I've used it at least three times in the last two months. I also added glasses using another PPPR file. I used the sketch pen on the Silhouette instead of cutting the files out. Files used: Owl Lollipop Holder Cutting Files & Nerdy Hamster Cutting Files (for the glasses).

Here's a close up of that owl!

Thank you for supporting Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons this 2015!!! You have all made it a great year for Lisa, and all of us! See you next year!

Check back tomorrow for some files and freebies!!
