Cameo Creations Challenge ~ Anything Goes!

Happy Thursday!  It's time for another challenge over at Cameo Creations.  This week's theme is "Anything Goes", so I'm hoping we'll see all sorts of wonderful Silhouette-created entries.  Here's my project for this challenge:

I got this fun whale from my new cutting file set, Sea Life.  It's so fun to actually get to cut out something I drew...I'm having a BLAST!  I created the card base by welding together two circles in Silhouette Studio.  Of course, I cut out everything using my Silhouette Cameo.  I got the sentiment from Pink by Design's Crikey Stamp Set.  I added some ink, some doodle lines, and some bling, and my card was all done. I hope you like it! :)

Now it's your turn!  Head on over to Cameo Creations to see what the other Design Team members created, then link up your own Silhouette-created project.  Anything goes this time.  Who knows?  You could win a $10 Gift Card to Michaels!  I can't wait to see what you create! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great one!

What's New Wednesday

Hey, everyone! Happy Independence Day!  I hope you are enjoying this lovely day with your family. :)  Today, I'm starting something new on my blog.  Since I'm beginning to design more and more graphics and cutting files, I decided to start a new post on my blog called, "What's New Wednesday".  Every Wednesday, I'll post whatever's new in my Etsy Shop here on my blog for you to see.  That way, I give myself a sort of deadline and save all the new stuff for one day.  I'll post every Wednesday (as long as I have something new finished).  So, here's what's new in my Etsy Shop.  Just click on the photo or the link below the photo to take a look at the item in my store. :)

And, in case you missed these...

YAY!  I hope you'll go take a look around my shop.  I'm having a blast designing all of these files, and I'm super excited about sharing them with you!  I hope you like them. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have an awesome holiday!!!

New Stamp Sets!

Hey, everyone!  I just got back from a FANTABULOUS vacation, and I've been catching up on e-mail, facebook, and blog land.  Just wanted to let you know (if you were wondering) that my Etsy shop is back open, and I'll be working to get some new cutting and graphic files up by next week.  I can't wait for you to see what I've been working on!  :)

I also wanted to share the new stamp sets I designed for Pink by Design.  Because of my vacation, I haven't had a chance to create anything with them yet, but here they are.  I hope you'll go check them out (just click on the pictures to go to the store).

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope to have some projects for you as soon as I get through some of these piles of post-vacation laundry!

Happy Independence Day ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge June 29

TGIF!!!  Can you believe that the 4th of July is right around the corner?  Man!  This year is just zipping by!!!  Today marks another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge. This time, the theme is Flag.  So, with Independence Day coming up, of course I decided to do an Independence Day project with stars and stripes.  Here it is:

I found this Circle & Stars Card file in the Silhouette Online Store and cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo.  The 3D Star and banner piece also came from the SOS.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design's Red, White & Blue Stamp Set, and all of the patterned papers are from my own Old Glory Stars and Stripes Printable Paper Pack.  I simply filled some background shapes with the patterns from this pack and used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut them out. :)  I finished off the card with some Air Mail Divine Twine that I got in the PBD store and some star brads, and my flag-themed card was all done! :)

Now, it's your turn.  Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own Flag-themed project that incorporates a die cut.  We can't wait to see what you create!

Let's Hang Out

Happy Monday!!!!  Today is my Design Team day over at Pink by Design, and I have a simple little card to share with you.  Here it is:

The minute I saw this cute Rag Doll Digital Paper Pack from Lettering Delights, I knew I wanted to pair it with this sentiment from Pink by Design's Found You Stamp Set.  Don't they go together perfectly?  The little boy and girl dolls are hanging out together, right?  LOL!  Sooo cute!  I used Silhouette Studio to size down the paper to 5.5" so it would fit (with a nice border) on this 5.75" square card.

Then, I printed a second copy and cut out the little boy and girl rag dolls.  I used foam tape to attach them to the base image, to give this simple card a little dimension.  Then, I just added some jewels, and my card was all done!  Easy peasy!!!

By the way, did you know that another Ink it Pink Challenge is going on right now?  The theme this week is Red, White, and Blue.  You have until Tuesday at noon to link up a Red, White, and Blue project.  We can't wait to see what you create! :)

My sister-in-law loves dolphins, so I wanted to take this opportunity to create birthday card for her.  I created this fun little dolphin SVG myself, and I cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo.  She's going to be available for purchase from my Etsy Shop in July, along with some friends of hers, so you get a little sneak peek today.   :)  I created the card base and bubbles in Silhouette Studio, and the sentiment came from Pink by Design's Birthday, Birthday Stamp Set.  I added some ribbon, doodles, and Stickles, and my little card was all done.  I hope you like it! :)

Now, how about some BLOG CANDY???
