School is Cool ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge Aug. 10

It's time for another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge!  YAY!!!  The theme of this challenge is School is Cool.  Here's my project:

Isn't this froggy sooo cute?  I got the frog and the sentiment from the Lettering Delights Toad-ally Cool Cut It Set.  I cut the frog with my Silhouette Cameo and used the print-and-cut feature of Silhouette Studio to print the sentiment.  I added some twine, doodles, jewels, buttons, and lots of ink, and my little card was all done!

What's New Wednesday #6

Whew!  I finally get to post my What's New Wednesday for this week.  I've learned that uploading digital papers to my store takes FOR-EV-ER!!!  But, they are finally loaded and ready to go.  So, without further ado, here's what's new at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Graphics.

I only created one cutting file this week, because I needed to focus on adding some digital papers to my store.  Here it is:

A Great Combo

Happy Monday!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have a quick little card to share with you.  Here it is:

I think this card would be perfect to give to a coworker or a new team member.  The little superheroes came from Pretty Paper, Pretty the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Superheroes Collection Digital Clip Art Set.  I arranged them in Photoshop Elements so I could add some shadows, then I printed them out and cut them to size for this Card Base #2, which I found in the Silhouette Online Store. 

The sentiment on this card comes from Pink by Design's Sweet Grams 2 Stamp Set.  I love that you can use these sentiments for candy-filled projects, as well as other ones, such as this little card.  The star paper came from the PPPR Old Glory Stars and Stripes Digital Paper Pack. I added a little ink, some ribbon, and some doodles, and my quick card was all done. :)  I hope you like it.

Cameo Creations Challenge ~ Pool Party

Happy Cameo Creations Challenge day!  The theme of this challenge is Pool Party!  Here's my project:

I got this cute little girl and beach ball from my new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Little Swimmers Cutting Files Set. The Belly Band Circle Card came from the Silhouette Online Store, and I thought it was perfect for this little beach ball.  I added a sentiment from Pink by Design's Summer Vacation Stamp Set, some Ice Blue ribbon from 3 Girl Jam, some ink, and some gems, and my card was all done.

I wanted to use bright colors on this card, so I chose to fill some of my pieces with patterns from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Summer Brights: Circles and Spots and Chevron & Stripes Digital Paper Packs. Here's a video to show you how I did it.

What's New Wednesday #5

Well, it's What's New Wednesday again, and, boy, do I have some news to share with you!  You may have already heard the news from Facebook, but the BIG PROJECT I have been working on is finally done!  YAY!  Guess what!!!  I now have my very own STORE!  Well, it's an Internet store, but it's still a store. ;)  I've been working really hard to get it all up and running, and it's finally done...YAY!!!  If you'd like to go check it out, click HERE.

I also have some new sets to share with you today.  First, I'll show you a card I created with one of the files. Here it is:

I really love how this one turned out. :)  I got the Hawkeye character from my new Superheroes set that I'll show you in just a sec.  The "target" behind him is actually Captain America's shield from my Superhero A Cutting Files Set.  I just took the star off and changed the blue inner circle to white.  I got the fun Chevron Arrow Tab from the Silhouette Online Store.  I stamped the background with Pink by Design's Chevron Background and some Versa Mark Ink, and the sentiment is from PBD's Just 4 Men stamp set. I added a little ink and some doodles, and my card was all done. :)

PBD Anniversary Challenge #3: Embossing

Hey, everyone!  Today is an awesome day for a celebration (and LOTS of challenges).  Pink by Design is celebrating it's 2 year anniversary, and there are all SORTS of fun things going on today. We're having a challenge every hour, on the hour, and so many awesome prizes are up for grabs!  Plus, if you participate in each challenge, you'll win a FREE STAMP SET!  YAY!!!  

My challenge is to create a project using Embossing (wet or dry).  Here's a sneak of my project:
