Say Cheese

Leah Schaeffer here today to share a little shaped card today. I just love the basic shapes that our store offers and how easily they can be used to create a shaped card. The layered shapes can be further layered using any design software before cutting. As I've done here to add a small red border. With some inked edges the shaped card really becomes something much more interesting then your regular rectangular card base.

One of the greatest crafty inventions was giving us the power to print and cut. Die cutting really changed with this new, fun feature! This could have easily cut as one piece but I separated them. The mouse and hat as their own pieces but I also did 2 layers of the cupcake so that the frosting and candle could be popped. Adds a ton of interest!

Glad to get to come by and share today! This was a wonderfully fun project to put together! Wish I had had time to create a card for EACH design in this file! Now that would have been fun..next time maybe? =) Thanks so much for stopping by today and for having joined us over the weekend for our hop! It was great fun!

Bring on the Birthday Card!

Hi, Ruth here! It's birthday central in my crafting space in February and so I thought I'd share a fun card I created with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files today!

This fun, celebration in paper is brought to you by the following files from the store:

Center Panel Step Card Cutting Files

I loved the colors that Lisa used in her images for these files and thought it'd be fun to create them with some inks and watercolor paper. I love the soft, but bright and fun look that came from it.

This project would be perfect for the Anything Goes Challenge going on right now! That's right, any creation featuring Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files qualifies! Be sure to check out yesterday's blog hop for lots of inspiration from the DT plus a freebie and a chance at some awesome blog candy!

Happy crafting!

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's time for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Anything Goes Blog Hop. I decided to show you the quick and easy Valentine's Day cards I created for my daughter's last Valentine's Party (she's a fifth grader). She picked out the sentiments and image helped me fix them up to make a boy cookie and a girl cookie. Here they are:

I used 4 different cutting files sets to create these sweet cards. Click on the photos to find them in the store:

card base

cookies

boy's glasses

girl's bow

boy's bowtie

I set my cut lines in Silhouette Studio to just cut the outlines of the cards, then I simply printed and cut out multiple cards. Then, I added sentiments from the Pretty Cute Stamps Adorkable and Be Mine stamp sets. Finally, we taped Smarties candies to the back of the cards and Taylor wrote a little message to her friends.

I cut out 29 Valentines...enough for everyone in her class, her teachers, and her sister:

Be My Valentine

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

Today I would like to share a Valentine's day card I made using  PPPR  Files.
For the card I used the cute little adorable rhino from PPPR "Safari Love 2 Cutting Files". I'm totally in love with the headband! The card base is 5X5 and embossed it with cuttlebug love language embossing folder. For the circle opening I put a circle on top of the white square and than right clicked on  make compound. The sentiment is from MCT "Chocolate Greetings" stamp set. For a little bling I added Xmas Red stickles.

Thank You for stopping by and don't forget we have a PPPR "Anything Goes" Blog Hop going this Saturday February  14th.

Hey.... Y'all

Happy Wednesday!

Do you ever buy some stuff with good intentions on using it but then never do?  I did that a while back with a couple of stamp sets.  I bought these stamps so long ago that I don't even remember who made them.  Oops.  I finally remembered the name of the company (K Andrews Designs) and thought it was about time that I finally make the projects that I was planning on making.

The card base is from the Photo Frames 2 Cutting Files.  The hay is from the Nativity 1 Cutting Files.  The little chick is from the Cute Chicks Cutting Files.  The Farmer Girl is from the On the Farm Cutting Files.   Her face is from Peachy Keen's In the Garden Face Assortment.

Nanne also used the Farm Girl on her layout yesterday.  You can check it out here.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here to share a fun layout with you that I created using some of the files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon store..

Here's what I created:
My daughter loves going horse back riding and has several horses she takes care of for the owners when they don't have the time to do themselves..

The wind mill and fork are in the " On The farm" cutting file.. The tree and fence are in the
"Home Sweet Home" cutting file.

This cute horse is in the Farm Critters cutting file and his hay is located in the "On The Farm" cutting file.

and this cute little farmer gal can be found in the "On The Farm" cutting file and her chicken
is located in the Farm Critters cutting file and finally, I used the clouds from the "Kite and Clouds" cutting file.

and their ya have my fun horse themed layout..
