Make a Wish!

Good morning! Leanne here from CreatedbyLeanne! Today I would like to share with you a fun Birthday card I made using the Make a Wish cutting file set

Isn't this little girl blowing out the candles adorable?!! I just love how sweet she is! This whole cutting file is just too cute! Instead of stamping a sentiment, I used the Make a Wish title. The background is a stamp that I used randomly on my card stock. I used a white jelly roll pen to add a little details to the title and also to her outfit. I used a brown pen for the corners.

Here is a picture of the cutting file set I used...

Party Animal!

Hello everyone! Brianna here from Happy Scrapper. I am here to share yet another birthday card with you all :) I am trying to get a stockpile made up.

Files Used:
Birthday Gator Cutting FilesScattered Stars Card Cutting Files

I turned this sweet little gator into a digital stamp and then colored him up using my Spectrum Noirs. I think he turned out pretty cute. I added some faux stitching around all the stars by using my black gel roll pen and a steady hand.

I finished it up by adding some homemade enamel dots randomly on the card and bada-bing it's done.

Thank you all for stopping by :)

Robots and Gears

Hi crafters! Leah Schaeffer here today to share a project I've had in the works for awhile! Poor thing sat all designed and ready to go for weeks before I was able to get it together and create! Has that ever happened to you? Certainly with a good idea that looms in your head for what feels like forever before you actually go and make it! Right? LOL! Well, finally I get to share, hope you enjoy!

The key element to this layout is the large scale gear border. Using design software available for electronic cutters you have the option of welding. Welding connects single images together. So I welded the gears together, created a couple of layers of shadows, and then cut individual gears in different colors for the very top layer. Using adhesive foam tape in different thicknesses will also give some cool dimension to your project. Not to mention utilizing your embossing folders by adding texture to some of your die cut shapes. I even sanded those to help them stand out even more!

If you want to visit my blog, I have an extra bit of detail to share about adding more life to the robots and how to tweak your die cut images to fit into a project! The title here was created using free fonts from the net.  =)

(for the stars on the page)

Thank you for visiting the blog today! Happy Monday! =)

Keep Calm and Party On!

Good Morning! Jeanne here from Jeanne's Paper Crafts with a new design team project!

I made a birthday card (because I ALWAYS need birthday cards) using the Birthday Critters cut files. Aren't these little guys soooo adorable?!

I used the elephant for my project. :)

The card base is just a shape I found in my Silhouette Library that I welded together. I created the rectangle shapes in Silhouette too.

The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Another Year Older stamp set. And I used the So Many Birthdays set on the inside of my card.

Celebrate

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a super yummy card I made using the new PPPR Happy Hour Cutting Files. I'm totally loving this file! My hubby walked in the room while I was making this and said, mmm... I could go for one of those it's so hot outside. Lol...

The base of the card will fit into a regular size letter envelope. I used the last image in the second row from left to right in the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files for the printed paper (I cut off some of the top and bottom), and used the offset button in the silhouette cameo for the white piece of paper.  The strawberry daiquiri is from  PPPR Happy Hour Cutting Files. I added some Glossy Accents to the glass part of the cup as well as the nose, tongue, little bubbles and the strawberry.  For the silly face I used Peachy Keen Happy New Year Stamp set. The sentiment is from PBD "Scripted Year" stamp set I stamped it on one of the images from  Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files. To finish the card off, I added some twine and sequins and then used my VersaMarker to outline the strawberry daiquiri part of the drink. I think this will make a great summer birthday card.

What I used:

PBD "Scripted Year" stamp set
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Glossy Accents
VersaMarker
Twine
Sequins

Thank you for stopping by and before I go I would like to remind you about the "Baby" theme challenge we have going on now till May 3rd. You can link up HERE.

Let's meet up for adult beverages!

Good Morning!!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here with you today.  I don't know about you, but it's hard to find time to go out with my girlfriends.  Sometimes it's our schedules that are keeping us from getting together, other times it's not being able to find a babysitter for our kids.  So I thought I would make a card to send to her so we can plan a girls night out soon.

The card base is made using the Scalloped Circles Cutting File.  The patterned paper was cut using the Doilies Cutting File.  I selected the image, then I selected "Release Compound Path".  After that I moved my main image and deleted the rest of the inside of the shape.   The sentiment shape is from the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting File.  The twine is Seaweed from The Twinery.

The Margarita is from the NEW Happy Hour Cutting File.  I used Glossy accents on the lime, stem of the margarita glass as well as the salt on the rim.  I wanted salt to have some texture to it so I let it dry a little bit and then took a needle and started poking the salt with the needle.  I did that while blowing on it to help get it to dry faster.  You could also use glitter for the salt but I end up making a huge mess when I use glitter.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Some Days Simply Require stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!!

Smile, It's Spring

It's Nanné here from Nanne's Creations and I have a cute little Spring themed layout I created that I wanted to share with you today. I used lots of the fun cutting files and some of them were the Friday Freebies, so do remember to stop by every Friday to grab yours cause you never know when you'll get a cute idea on how to use one.

So, I decided to go with some softer Spring colors and some cute chicks (wink wink) and came up with this design:

I'll have to hunt down some photos for this layout or maybe even take a few new ones..LOL

How about some close ups and details:

This cute little chick is in the Cute Chicks Cutting Files, and the Easter eggs are in the Hoppy Easter Cutting Files.

And this cute little chick is the same, but I flipped the image.  This way, I could have them both facing towards the middle of the layout :) The grass is from the Flower Assortment Cutting Files.

The cute little bunny that I tucked behind one of the photo mats is also from the Hoppy Easter Cutting Filesand I decided to use a few clouds and those are in the Baby Shower Cutting Files.

I also added a large circle in the back of the layout, which is from the Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files.

I also wanted to add some spring flowers, and what better than a few tulips. :) Those are in the Flower Faces Cutting Files.

For the bottom of the layout, I decided to use one of the designer elements from the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files and stretched it to about 10" big and then used the knife tool in the SIL software to cut just the bottom off which is what I wanted to use :)  I also added two flourishes to help decorate my title and those are in the Friends Forever Cutting Files.

And there ya have the cute little spring layout I created as my Design Team project for today's post. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.
Hugs
Nanné

Valentine's Day Project Life Layouts

Happy Monday!!  Nicole here today - I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend.  Today I have a couple of project life layouts I created for some Valentine's Day pictures that needed to be scrapbooked :-)

For this first page I used Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Cupid Cutting Files set for the hearts and arrow. I did a print and cut with my Silhouette Cameo to create my 3x4 card.  I added some homemade enamel dots to finish it off.

For my second page I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine Sweets Cutting Files set for my heart cupcake.  I did another print and cut but first did a shadow of my cupcake and welded it with a rectangle for the white layer of my card.  I printed an extra heart layer and popped it up with some foam tape for added dimension.  The blue polka dot paper is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Christmas Brights Circles and Spots Digital Paper Pack.

Thank you for stopping by today. Come back tomorrow for more Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons inspiration.

A Little SNEAK PEEK!

Hey, everyone! I hope you are all having an amazing weekend, so far! I have a fun little card to share with you today that is actually a sneak peek of a set that will be in the store on Sunday or Monday. It features one of my favorite tropical drinks (the sneak peek) and a sentiment from one of my favorite good time songs:

Are you singing it, yet? SUCH a great song! I created the card base for this using the PPPR Sunburst Shapes Cutting Files. I decided to to a print and cut for the base, just to save a little time. I cut the little Pina Coladas in 3 print and cut layers...the base with the umbrella and pineapple, the cherry, and the glass with the drink. Then, I layered the together and added a couple of faces from the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes Face Assortment. I created the sentiment in Silhouette Studio. I added some doodles, ribbon, and enamel dots, and my fun little card was all done.

Check out the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store during the next few days, or so, to see this entire new set. Oh, and don't forget to come back tomorrow for some more PPPR inspiration.  Have a great Easter!
