Cameo Creations Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Happy Thursday!!!  It's time for another Cameo Creations Challenge, and this week's theme is Anything Goes.  We all got to work with some gorgeous images this week from Dilo En Espanol. Here's what I came up with:

For this card, I used the Marbella Stamp from Dilo En Espanol.  I was feeling whimsical, so I colored her with some fun colored Copics.  I found this pretty Fancy Square Frame in the Silhouette Online Store and changed its proportions to fit the stamp better.  Then, I used the Offset feature in Silhouette Studio to create a shadow layer around the frame.  I mirrored the shadow layer above and welded the two pieces together to create the card base.  Then, I just added a little Cherry Lipstick Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl Jam, and my card was all done!

Now, it's your turn.  Head on over to Cameo Creations to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own Silhouette-created project.  Remember, anything goes this week!  One lucky linker will win this awesome prize package:

We can't wait to see what you create!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Design Team Day!!! (& What's New Wednesday #12)

Hey, there!  I just CAN'T WAIT to show you all of the amazing projects my wonderful new Design Team created with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files.  So, here they are.  You can click on the photos to go to their blogs and send them some bloggy love! :)

First, here's my project:

I created this cute little witch by using one of the little pandas from the Birthday Panda Cutting Files Set.  I just removed his little balloon and added in the witch's broom and hat from the Monster Mash Cutting Files Set.  I created the card base by using a shape from this 5 Shape Set, which can be found in the Silhouette Online Store.  I just mirrored the shape above, scooted them together so they were overlapping a little, and welded them.  Then I used a copy of the shape to create an inset for the patterned paper portion of my card.  I filled that inset shape with some paper from the Halloween Pattern Pack 2 Digital Papers (which is a NEW release this week).  I added a circle from a 1.5 inch punch with a sentiment from Pink by Design's A Haunting We Will Go Stamp Set, some doodles, and some ribbon, and my fun little card was all done! :)

Now....here we go!  Here are the AWESOME projects from my Design Team.  Be sure to head over to their blogs to find out all of the details and send them some bloggy love. :)

Ana Maria ~ Shorty Creations

Be Happy ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge Sept. 21

YAY!!!!!  It's the BESTEST FRIDAY EVER!  Plus, it's time for another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge.  The theme for this challenge is We rake, We Pile, We JUMP!  So, the challenge is to use a die cut on a project with that theme.  Here's my project:

I had such a fun time making this shadow box card!  Plus, I got to use some a new cuts from my store.  Here are some other views so you can see how this fun shadow box card works:

All of the pieces are popped up with foam tape, and I tried to make the little leaf pile curve by using different widths of tape. Of course, I added lots of ink and doodles to my card to finish it off.

Here are the goodies I used on my card:

What's New Wednesday #11

YAY!  It's time for another What's New Wednesday.  I have three sets to tell you about today. You can click on the photos to go check these items out in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store.

First of all, I'm SUPER excited because I get to go to the original Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, this Saturday.  We had to be sure to check it out before we move back to the States sometime next year. So, I couldn't resist making an Oktoberfest set:

Leaves are starting to change around here, so I wanted to create some Autumn-themed sets.  Here's Fall Fun:

I also sneaked this little set into my store on Saturday because I wanted to use it for a project I was posting. ;) These Falling Leaves can be used for so many things!

That's all I have for you this week.  I'll be working on more Halloween files and some Halloween papers during this next week.  Plus, my super talented Design Team and I will  have some AWESOME projects to share with you next Wednesday.  I hope you'll stop by! :)

Oh, by the way, my birthday is this Friday!  YAY!  So, I think that calls for a SALE.  You can use the code 35candles to get 25% off of any purchase of $10 or more at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  This coupon is valid for only one purchase per customer and will expire at 11:59 CST on Sunday, September 23.  So, what are you waiting for...get to shoppin'!  ;)

Rattle My Bones

Yay!! It's Monday! ;)  This is Lisa from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, and I have a cute little Halloween card to share with you today.  Here it is:

I had such a fun time creating this card.  I got the card base from the Silhouette Online Store, and the cute little skeleton from my graphics store.  I used the Pink by Design Quatrefoil Background Stamp to add a little pattern to the background of my card.  I love how it turned out.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design's A Haunting We Will Go Stamp Set, and the skull and crossbones came from Pink by Design's Ghostly Greetings Stamp Set.  I added some jewels, some pretty crinkle ribbon, and lots of ink and doodles, and my card was all done!

Here are links to the products I used for my card:
Don't forget about the Ink it Pink Challenge that is going on right now.  The challenge this time is to use material of some kind (besides ribbon) in your project.  You can link up your project HERE.  We can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back later this week with more projects for you! :)

Cameo Creations Fall Blog Hop

Welcome to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and the Cameo Creations Fall Blog Hop. For this hop, we're creating projects with a fall or football theme. If you've come here from Jessica's blog, you're in the right place. If you've just stumbled upon my post and would like to start from the beginning, head on over to Cameo Creations.

You want to make sure you stop by all of the stops...you're sure to find some AMAZING projects and some blog candy along the way. Then, you'll be able to link up your own fall or football themed projects (created with your Silhouette machine) over at Cameo Creations to play along. You could win a gift certificate to Bugaboo Digital Stamps and a Close to My Heart Stamp Set from Sandra Rosario!

For this hop, I created this fun fall gift set:

For the card, I simply embossed the front of an A2 sized kraft card with my Sizzix Paisley Palooza Embossing Folder and my Cuttlebug.  I got the leaf from the brand new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Falling Leaves Cutting Files set.  To add some texture, I gently crinkled the leaf, flattened it back out, and added some golden brown ink to show off the wrinkles.  Then, I added a banner from Pink by Design's Everyday Banners Stamp Set, a sentiment from Pink By Design's Big Thoughts Stamp Set, some polka-dotted ribbon, and some ink, and the simple little thank you card was all done.

I got this cute little Abstract Box from the Silhouette Online Store.  I embossed opposite sides of the box with the same embossing folder that I used on the card.  The box is filled with yummy Hershey's minis covered with wrappers I stamped using Pink by Design's Mini Wrappers Stamp Set.  I covered them with the same colors of cardstock I used for the leaves I added around the sides of the box (which I also got from the PPPR Falling Leaves Cutting Files Set).

Now, I've got a little blog candy to share with you. One lucky follower will be the winner of this Pink by Design Beary Merry Christmas Stamp Set. Just think...you could get a jump start on your Christmas Cards with this cutie!

Here's what you need to do to for a chance to win:

1.  Be a follower of my blog and leave a comment telling me you are.  Be sure to include your e-mail address.

That's it!  That's all you need to do to have a chance to win.  If you'd like additional chances, though, you can do one or all of the following:

2. Be a follower of the Cameo Creations Challenge Blog and leave me a comment here telling me you are. Be sure to include your e-mail address.

3.  "Like" Cameo Creations on Facebook and leave a separate comment here on my blog telling me you did.  Be sure to include your e-mail address.

Isn't it adorable!  I love the glitter paper she used for the honey jar!  Head on over to her blog to check out the details and all of her other FANTASTIC projects!

I know I've been short on crafty posts for the last week, or so.  I've not been feeling the best, and I've had a bit of a crafty block.  I'm planning to make myself sit down at my craft desk today, so I'll have something to share with you tomorrow. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
