Hi, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have a fun little birthday card to share with you today.

I used two Pink by Design stamps sets for this card...Everyday Banners and You Are.  The little cupcake is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Birthday Critters Cutting Files set, and the papers are from the PPPR Spring Fling Digital Paper Collection.  I added some ink and enamel dots, and my little card was all done.  I hope you like it!

Don't forget about this week's Pink by Design Black, Orange, and Purple Challenge.  You can link up your project you created using Pink by Design Stamps HERE.

I'll be back a little later today with the PPPR Design Team!  YAY!

You're Just the Ticket

Hi, everyone! It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have a quick little card to share with you.

I used the Pink by Design Rockstar Stamp Set to create this card.  I stamped the background with VersaMark Watermark ink, and I created the border by stamping the ticket on different scraps of paper with my Momento Tuxedo Black ink.  I love stamping on my patterned paper scraps...it's a great way to use those little ones!  The sentiment is also from the Rockstar set....and you can get it right now for just $9.99!! What a great deal!

I hope you have a wonderful day!  Don't forget that this week's challenge is ANYTHING GOES (just make sure to use Pink by Design Stamps on your project).  You can link up HERE.

I'll be back tomorrow with the winners from the PPPR Back to School Challenge. :)

PBD It's All About Fall, Ya'll Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I get to choose the theme for this week's Ink it Pink Challenge. The theme this week is "It's All About Fall, Ya'll".  I don't know about you, but I'm ready for there to be a little chill in the air.  Don't get me wrong...I don't want it to be cold, but I could use a little chilliness.  Anyway, here's what I made for the challenge:

I got this great sentiment from Pink by Design's Bountiful Blessings Stamp Set.  The pumpkins are from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Pumpkin Patch Cutting Files Set, and the scalloped borders are from the PPPR Borders 2 Cutting Files Set.  The background paper is from the PPPR Pumpkin Spice Pattern Pack 2 Digital Paper Pack.  I added some pretty fall ribbon, lots of ink, and some foam tape, and my little card was all done.

Now, it's your turn.  Link up your fall-themed project you create using Pink by Design stamps below, and you could win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pink by Design.  YAY!  We can't wait to see what you create!  Have a great day, everyone!

Teacher Appreciation Tags

Happy Saturday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have some teacher appreciation tags that I created to share with you today.  I think they will be great to have on hand all year to send little treats to the teacher as the year goes.  It will be nice to show my youngest daughter's teacher that she's appreciated all year round, I think.  Anyway, here they are:

All of the sentiments for these tags are from the new Pink by Design Love My Teacher half pint stamp set.  Aren't they so fun?  I used lots and lots of PPPR files for these tags.  Here's the list, if you're interested:

By the way, these would be perfect for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Back to School Challenge that is going on now.  You still have a couple of weeks to link up HERE for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I'd love it if you'd join in on the fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you're having an awesome weekend.  I'll be back on Monday with another project to share with you.

Okay...how about some new files.  Here's what's new in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store:

And...here's today's Friday Freebie.  This cute little bag will be available for free for one week. :)

Simply Love

Happy Thursday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have a simple little card to share with you today.  It only took me 10 minutes to make (it would have been a lot less if I didn't have so much trouble threading the twine through this little button).  HA!  Anyway...here's my card:

To create this card, I simply stamped this LOVE sentiment from Pink by Design's Say it Boldly Stamp Set in three different colors of pink ink and trimmed around it.  Then, I created an A2 sized card base out of patterned card stock and wrapped a little pink jute twine around it.  I secured the twine by tying a knot through a fun button (which really was torture!), and I added the sentiment with foam tape for a little dimension.  Then, my card was all done!  I love how it turned out.  It's nice to be able to create a quick card without firing up my computer or Silhouette machine every once in a while.
Don't forget about this week's challenge, going on now.  You can join in on the Round Out Your Summer challenge by creating a project using something ROUND.  You can find out all of the details and link up your project by clicking HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with some new files and a Friday Freebie to share.  Have a great day!!!

Sorry I've Been So Crabby

Happy Hump Daaa-aaay, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I decided to create a CAS card and a SNEAK PEEK for you.  YAY!  Here's what I created:

I created this simple card with a Pink by Design stamp set I designed that will be coming out soon.  The crab and the sentiment are both from that set.  I stamped the crab on some patterned paper.  Then, I stamped another crab on white paper and fussy cut the eyes and teeth out to adhere to the patterned crab.  I also used a red marker to color in parts of the crab to add a little dimension.  The background shape was created with my Cuttlebug Fancy Frames embossing folder, and I just cut around the embossing.  I added some jute twine and a fun button, and my card was all done.

I hope you like my little card.  There are so many great stamp sets coming out this month...I can't wait for you to see them all.

Thanks for stopping by, everyone, and I hope you have a great day!

You Brighten My Day & a FREEBIE!!!

TGIF, everyone! I have a quick little tag to share with you today.  I have to tell you that I'm loving the Print-and-Cut function on my Silhouette Cameo.  It really makes creating projects so quick and easy.  Here's my tag:

I created this tag using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Cool Sun Cutting Files (this week's freebie) and the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files.  I printed and cut all of the elements on this tag. For the sun, I just created an offset around it and cut it out with a slight white outline.  I really like this look...it makes it look like a sticker, and it's perfect when you want to cut a file at a really small size. I also used digital papers from the PPPR Sunny Skies Digital Paper Collection.  The lovely sentiment is from the Pink by Design Friends to the End Stamp Set.   I added some pretty crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM, some doodles, and some glossy accents (to the glasses), and my quick tag was all done.

This project would be perfect for two challenges that are going on now:

Here's a link to this week's Friday Freebie.  This file will be free for one week, then it will move to the 99 Cent Downloads Section of the PPPR Store.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back next week with more projects and some new files for you.  Have a great weekend!!

Hello, Sunshine!

Happy Hump Day, everyone!  I have a quick card to share with you today that I created to go along with Pink by Design's Up, Up, and Away Challenge for this week.  Here it is:

To create this super easy card, I first stamped my sentiment from Pink by Design's Rain or Shine Stamp Set on white card stock and colored the sun in with my Copic markers.  Next, I printed some paper from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sunny Skies Honeycomb Digital Paper Pack, inked the edges with some fluid chalk ink,  and adhered it to a kraft card base.  I then added some strips of coordinating washi tape that I had on hand and popped on my sentiment with some foam tape.  Then, the card was all done!  So easy!

This card is perfect for the Pink by Design Up, Up, and Away Challenge.  You can link up any project that makes you think of "up".  My little sun is in the sky, so...you know.  Anyway, link your project below for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pink by Design. :)

PBD Up, Up, & Away Challenge

Hey, everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  It's time for another Pink by Design Challenge.  YAY!  The challenge theme this time is Up, Up, & Away.  So, you can link up any project that makes you think of UP...something with skies, balloons, kites, sun, stars, rainbow...you name it! Here's what I created for the challenge:

This sweet sentiment is from Pink by Design's Illuminate Stamp Set.  I got the clouds and  balloon from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Patriotic Balloon Cutting Files Set.  I "erased" the stars on the balloon and filled the pieces with digital papers.  Then I print and cut it in one piece...so it's sort-of like a sticker.  Those papers and the other patterns on the card cam from the PPPR Spring Fling Digital Paper Collection.  I added a few doodles, and my card was all done.

Now, it's your turn!  Head over to the Pink by Design Blog to see what the other DT members created this week.  Then, link up your own Up, Up, & Away project there or at the end of this post.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back on Wednesday with another project to share. :)

Pink by Design's Camping Challenge

YAY!!! It's time for another Pink by Design Challenge.  This week's theme is Camping.  Here's what I created:

This fun sentiment comes from Pink by Design's Radioactive Stamp Set.  I stamped it on a shape from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Speech Bubbles Cutting Files set.  The campfire is from the new PPPR Camping Fun Cutting Files set, and the plaid pattern is from the PPPR Man, Oh Man Diamonds & Grids Digital Paper Pack.  I added a face from Peachy Keen's Sweet and Silly Face Assortment, lots of ink, some doodles, and some yellow jute twine, and my card was all done.  I hope you like it!

Now, it's your turn!  Head on over to Pink by Design to see what the other PBD Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own camping-themed project below for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pink by Design.  We can't wait to see what you create!

PBD Anything But a Card Friday & a FREEBIE!

Happy Friday, everyone!  It's time for another Anything But a Card Friday here at Pink by Design.  I've created a beach-themed treat to share with you today.

I created this little treat bag using the Pink by Design Just Beachy and Summer Vacation stamp sets.  I colored the sand castle and bucket with my Copic markers. The cutting files for the bag, itself, is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) K-Cup Treat Cutting Files.  The sentiment is stamped on a cloud from the PPPR Kite and Clouds Cutting Files set.

Don't forget about the Pink by Design At the Beach challenge that is going on this week.  You can link up your beach-themed project at the bottom of this post.

I also have a new Friday Freebie for you.  This file will be available for free for one week, then it will move to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.

What Makes You Happy

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  It's At the Beach week over at Pink by Design, and I have another Beach-themed project to share with you.  Here it is:

I created this cute little beach scene using stamped images from Pink by Design's Just Beachy Stamp Set, which I colored with my Copic Markers.  The fun sentiment is from Pink by Design's Illuminate Stamp set.  The cloud background paper is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Spring Fling Pattern Pack of Digital Papers.

I created the sand by tearing kraft paper and embossing it with my Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder.  Then, I inked it with some brown Fluid Chalk ink.  I also used torn paper...this time some white core paper, for the waves.  I embossed those papers with the same folder and used a white gelly roll pen to highlight the "bubbles".

Don't forget to join in on this week's challenge: At the Beach. You can link up below. :)

Hi, everyone!  Happy Monday!  It's time for another Pink by Design Challenge.  This week's challenge is to create a BEACH-themed project.  Here's what I created:

This cute little beach ball is from the Pink By Design Just Beachy stamp set.  I stamped most of them with VersaMark Watermark ink, and the white one was stamped with black Momento Ink and colored with my Copic markers.  The fun sentiment is from Pink by Design's Attitude stamp set.  I added some doodles, and my simple card was all done!  I hope you like it!

Now, it's your turn.  Head on over to the Pink by Design Blog to see what the other DT members created.  Then link up your own BEACH-themed project.  You have until Saturday night to link up. :)

Pink by Design Not-a-Card Friday

Hey, everyone!  It's time for another Not-a-Card Friday over at Pink by Design.  We're still working with our Graduation Challenge theme, so I decided to create a little graduation gift box.  Here it is:

This little box is actually a combination of two little paper mache boxes that I got at Hobby Lobby for 99 cents each. Here's how I put this little box together:

First, I bought two little boxes...one square an one round.  I made sure that the top of the square one would fit over the round box.

Next, I painted the tops of both boxes and the bottom of the round box black.  I didn't need the bottom of the square box for this project.  I just used some acrylic paint that I already had on hand.

I created a tassel from twine and attached it to the top of the square box top with a brad.  Actually, I just attached it with a glue dot, but punching a hole and fastening the brad in would probably be much more secure.

Then, I glued the round top to the inside of the square top, like this:

Then, I was left with a little box that is shaped like a grad cap and still closes securely.  I added a little sentiment from Pink by Design's Everyday Banners stamp set, and my little gift box was all done!  Here's another view of the little box:

Don't forget that you still have a little time to enter our Graduation Challenge.  Link up below by Saturday night for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design.

Pink by Design Technique Wenesday

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for another Technique Wednesday at Pink by Design.  This week, we're featuring projects using twine.  Of course, we're staying with our Graduation theme from this week's challenge.  Here's what I created:

The card base for this card is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Scattered Stars Card Cutting Files. I replaced the colored paper strips in the background with colored twine, which I just cut and taped to the back of a piece of card stock.  I added a grad cap from the PPPR Hats Off Cutting Files set and a sentiment from the Pink by Design Everyday Banners and Hats Off stamp sets.  Then, my little card was all done!

Remember about the Graduation Challenge that is going on over at Pink by Design this week.  You can link up your project below.

Pink by Design Graduation Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Pink by Design, and this week's challenge is to create a graduation-themed project.  Here's what I came up with:

The base of this card is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Center Panel Step Card Cutting Files set. The sweet graduate girl is from the PPPR Graduates Cutting Files set, and the diplomas are from the PPPR Hat's Off Cutting Files set.  The big sentiment is from Pink by Design's Giant Greetings stamp set.  I love how it fits the banner on this card perfectly.  The sweet little face on the graduate is from the Peachy Keen Laughy Taffy Face Assortment stamp set.

Here's another view of the card:

Now, it's your turn!  Head on over to the Pink by Design Blog to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, link up your graduation themed project below.  We can't wait to see what you create!

PBD's Not-a-Card Friday

Hey, everyone!  It's time for another Not-a-Card Friday over at Pink by Design.  This is the day that the DT members try to step out of our comfort zone of always creating cards to try something different.  Here's what I created this time:

This fun tag was SUPER easy to make!  First, I brought the tag shape from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Layered Tags Cutting Files Set into Silhouette Studio.  Then, I filled the bottom layer with a digital paper from the PPPR Spring Fling Stripes Digital Paper Pack. I wanted to keep the top layer white, but I wanted a border around it, so I just created an offset (shadow) layer around that layer and filled it with another blue striped digi paper from the same pack.

Next, I added the fun little sunflower from the PPPR Flower Faces Cutting Files set.  The SVGs of these files come in full color, so I was able to import it and pop it right on top of the white layer.  Then, I grouped the blue layer, white layer, and sunflower together so they would all print as one piece.  That way, all I had to do was print out two layers I was left with and use the print-and-cut feature to cut them out with my Cameo.

I stamped my sentiment from Pink by Design's 29 and Holding Stamp Set on the top layer, added some ribbon, and adhered the two layers with foam tape....all done!  These big ol' paragraphs makes this seem harder than it was.  Really, this would be such an easy way to make multiple tags like this for gifts.  I LOVE the print-and-cut feature of Silhouette Studio!!

Don't forget that a Mother's Day challenge is going on over at Pink by Design!  You have until Saturday night to link up your Mother's Day project below.
