PPPR Hot, Hot, Hot! Blog Hop

Happy Saturday, everyone! Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Hot, Hot, Hot! Blog Hop. The Design Team and I thought this theme would be perfect for this HOT time of year. We've created all sorts of projects that remind us of something HOT, and I can't wait for you to see them all.  There's also a fun freebie available for you wonderful hoppers, and there's also a prize up for grabs. We'll also be kicking off our next challenge. So, let's get to the fun!

I decided to make a fun side step scene card. When I think of heat, I think of the beach. So, I used the PPPR Side Step Card Cutting Files to create a base for my scene. Then, I added a girl from the PPPR Dress Up Girls Cutting Files and dressed her in the PPPR Dress Up Girl Swim Suit 1 Cutting Files. Most of the other files are from the PPPR Day at the Beach Cutting Files set, but I also added a beach ball from the PPPR Little Swimmers Cutting Files set and the bottle from the PPPR Sunscreen Cutting Files set. Then, I added a sentiment from Peachy Keen's Stamp Club June 2013 set, some white doodles, and some enamel dots to finish off the card. Here's a different view:

This hop also kicks off our new Hot Challenge. Link up your hot-themed project that uses PPPR files for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. The projects can be anything that have to do with HOT! They can be summer themed, but they don't have to be...as long as they remind us of something HOT and uses PPPR files. You can link up and read all of the rules HERE:

MOM = love

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a Mother's Day card I made using the super adorable PPPR Dress up files. You can check out the four new Dress Up files HERE.

My card base is 5X5 and I used the PPPR "Background Lace 1 Cutting Files" to make it. Love the way the background lace looks and how beautiful it cut out. I welded a rectangle close to the bottom so it would look like the little girl was standing behind it.  The little girl is from PPPR "Dress Up Girls 1 Cutting Files" and her top is from  PPPR "Dress Up Girl Wedding Dress Cutting Files". I used chalk on her hair as well her top. The cute little face stamp is from Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment stamp set. I cut the MOM out with my cameo using Berlin Sans FB Demi font and added Yellow Stickles. For the heart shape I used PPPR "Heart Balloon Cutting Files" and the sentiment is from MCT "Treasured Moments" stamp set. After chalking the edges of the heart I add some Start Dust Stickles.  Totally loving the PPPR Dress Up files!

What I used:

PPPR "Background Lace 1 Cutting Files"

Celebrate Your Inner Princess

Hi, everyone! I have a sweet little card to share with you today. I used some of the newest PPPR files to create it. Here it is:

This sweet little girl is from the Dress Up Girls 1 Cutting Files set. Have you seen this set, yet? It features 6 little dress up dolls that you can use to mix and match clothing and accessory sets that I will be adding to the store frequently. For this card, I used a dress from the Princess Dress 1 Cutting Files set and a tiara from the Wedding Dress Cutting Files Set. I added a sweet face from the Peachy Keen Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment and a few little jewels as her earrings and ring. The sentiment is from Pink by Design's Inner Princess Stamp Set, and I stamped it on a shape from the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files Set. I added some pretty rumple ribbon and some doodles, and my card was all done!

Oh, and don't forget that this is your last day to enter the Baby Challenge. You could win a $20 Gift Certificate to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store. We don't have many entries yet, so your chances of winning are really good...if you link up. We hope you'll join in on the fun!

Celebrate

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a super yummy card I made using the new PPPR Happy Hour Cutting Files. I'm totally loving this file! My hubby walked in the room while I was making this and said, mmm... I could go for one of those it's so hot outside. Lol...

The base of the card will fit into a regular size letter envelope. I used the last image in the second row from left to right in the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files for the printed paper (I cut off some of the top and bottom), and used the offset button in the silhouette cameo for the white piece of paper.  The strawberry daiquiri is from  PPPR Happy Hour Cutting Files. I added some Glossy Accents to the glass part of the cup as well as the nose, tongue, little bubbles and the strawberry.  For the silly face I used Peachy Keen Happy New Year Stamp set. The sentiment is from PBD "Scripted Year" stamp set I stamped it on one of the images from  Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files. To finish the card off, I added some twine and sequins and then used my VersaMarker to outline the strawberry daiquiri part of the drink. I think this will make a great summer birthday card.

What I used:

PBD "Scripted Year" stamp set
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Glossy Accents
VersaMarker
Twine
Sequins

Thank you for stopping by and before I go I would like to remind you about the "Baby" theme challenge we have going on now till May 3rd. You can link up HERE.

A Little SNEAK PEEK!

Hey, everyone! I hope you are all having an amazing weekend, so far! I have a fun little card to share with you today that is actually a sneak peek of a set that will be in the store on Sunday or Monday. It features one of my favorite tropical drinks (the sneak peek) and a sentiment from one of my favorite good time songs:

Are you singing it, yet? SUCH a great song! I created the card base for this using the PPPR Sunburst Shapes Cutting Files. I decided to to a print and cut for the base, just to save a little time. I cut the little Pina Coladas in 3 print and cut layers...the base with the umbrella and pineapple, the cherry, and the glass with the drink. Then, I layered the together and added a couple of faces from the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes Face Assortment. I created the sentiment in Silhouette Studio. I added some doodles, ribbon, and enamel dots, and my fun little card was all done.

Check out the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store during the next few days, or so, to see this entire new set. Oh, and don't forget to come back tomorrow for some more PPPR inspiration.  Have a great Easter!

PPPR Baby Shower Blog Hop

Hey, everyone! I hope you are all having an amazing weekend! Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Baby Shower Blog Hop. My amazing Design Team and I will be sharing all sorts of baby shower and baby themed projects with you today that use Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. We also have a gift certificate up for grabs and a little freebie just for you guys! So, sit back, relax, and take in all of the baby shower goodness. You won't be disappointed! :)

For my projects, I decided to make some items that you may see at a baby shower. First, I made a fun little popcorn box that could be used as a little gift for a mom to be or as a shower favor.

I got this sweet pregnant woman and the baby's dress from the Mommy To Be set, and I added a little Peachy Keen Princess Face to the woman. Oh, and I want to add that the little white trim on the dress was SO very tiny that I decided to cut it from white vinyl. That worked out so well! I definitely need to try that again!

I didn't have the sentiment I wanted on a stamp, so I just used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to add the sentiment to a Sentiment Spot. All of the links for these items can be found below.

I also decided to create some fun cupcake wrappers and toppers that would be perfect for a baby shower. I got the images from the Changing Time and Baby Shower sets. I added a sweet face from Peachy Keen's Just Baby Faces set.  For the most part (except for the baby's arm...so it would show up) these are print and cut pieces. I just think printing and cutting cupcake toppers is so much easier.

Here are all of the products I used for these two projects:

This hop also kicks off our new Baby Challenge. Link up your baby-themed project that uses PPPR files for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. You can link up and read all of the rules HERE:

Happy Easter Treat Bag

Hi, and Happy Thursday!
Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a super cute little Easter treat holder I made. I used the Happy Pumpkin Treat Bag Cutting Files for the base of the treat holder.  I removed the mouth of the pumpkin before cutting then trimmed off the stem and leaves by hand. The egg shape and grass are from the Hoppy Easter Cutting Files. For the big egg shape I ran it thought the Cuttlebug  with my "Charles" embossing folder, then I smoothed some Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet distress ink over the embossing and around the edges. The adorable little chick is from  the Cute Chicks Cutting Files. I used the Peachy Keen "Critter Faces" stamp set for the face. The sentiment is from the Pink by Design "Artisan Tags 2" stamp set, and I stamped it on a image from the Speech Bubbles Cutting Files.

What I used:

Happy Pumpkin Treat Bag Cutting Files
