Smile, It's Spring

It's Nanné here from Nanne's Creations and I have a cute little Spring themed layout I created that I wanted to share with you today. I used lots of the fun cutting files and some of them were the Friday Freebies, so do remember to stop by every Friday to grab yours cause you never know when you'll get a cute idea on how to use one.

So, I decided to go with some softer Spring colors and some cute chicks (wink wink) and came up with this design:

I'll have to hunt down some photos for this layout or maybe even take a few new ones..LOL

How about some close ups and details:

This cute little chick is in the Cute Chicks Cutting Files, and the Easter eggs are in the Hoppy Easter Cutting Files.

And this cute little chick is the same, but I flipped the image.  This way, I could have them both facing towards the middle of the layout :) The grass is from the Flower Assortment Cutting Files.

The cute little bunny that I tucked behind one of the photo mats is also from the Hoppy Easter Cutting Filesand I decided to use a few clouds and those are in the Baby Shower Cutting Files.

I also added a large circle in the back of the layout, which is from the Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files.

I also wanted to add some spring flowers, and what better than a few tulips. :) Those are in the Flower Faces Cutting Files.

For the bottom of the layout, I decided to use one of the designer elements from the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files and stretched it to about 10" big and then used the knife tool in the SIL software to cut just the bottom off which is what I wanted to use :)  I also added two flourishes to help decorate my title and those are in the Friends Forever Cutting Files.

And there ya have the cute little spring layout I created as my Design Team project for today's post. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Easter Treats

 Happy Sunday and Happy Easter!!

Roberta here from Adventures of a Bedtime Crafter. I am very sorry to say that today will be my last post as a Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team member. It's been amazing being able to share my creations with all of you using Lisa's awesome designs, and today is no different!

I had so many different projects I wanted to make, but with today being Easter, I couldn't imagine doing anything else :). Between my son's daycare class and my first graders, I made 37 Easter treats for Friday's celebrations at both schools. Here's how they turned out...

Happy Easter Treat Bag

Hi, and Happy Thursday!
Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a super cute little Easter treat holder I made. I used the Happy Pumpkin Treat Bag Cutting Files for the base of the treat holder.  I removed the mouth of the pumpkin before cutting then trimmed off the stem and leaves by hand. The egg shape and grass are from the Hoppy Easter Cutting Files. For the big egg shape I ran it thought the Cuttlebug  with my "Charles" embossing folder, then I smoothed some Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet distress ink over the embossing and around the edges. The adorable little chick is from  the Cute Chicks Cutting Files. I used the Peachy Keen "Critter Faces" stamp set for the face. The sentiment is from the Pink by Design "Artisan Tags 2" stamp set, and I stamped it on a image from the Speech Bubbles Cutting Files.

What I used:

Happy Pumpkin Treat Bag Cutting Files

Hoppy Easter Cutting Files

Cute Chicks Cutting Files

Speech Bubbles Cutting Files

Peachy Keen "Critter Faces" stamp set
PBD "Artisan Tags 2" stamp set
Cuttlebug "Charles" embossing folder
Tim Holtz Dusty Concord Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Mustard Seed Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Yellow Stickles
Diamond Stickles

Before I go, I would like to remind you about the PPPR Baby Shower Blog Hop that we will be having this Saturday April 12th. We hope you're able to hop along with us.

Thank you for stopping by, and may you all have a beautiful Easter.

Easter Treat Bags by Nanné

Hi, this is Nanne' from Nanne's Creations. As some of you already know,  I live in Finland and here we get little happy Easter witches and bunnies that come gathering Easter goodies from door to door on Palm Sunday.  For this year, I decided to create some cute little goody bags for them.. I made two different ones, one for a boy and one for a girl..

I filled the little bags with Easter goodies. Not too many because they are little kids that come by and I don't want to over load them with sugar :)

I used the Handled Treat Bag Topper cutting files. I flooded them with colors and prints using my SIL software, printed them and then cut. It was quick and simple, my kind of a project when you have to create lots of them :)

I added detail with the fun bunny ears, which can be found in the Bunny Photo Props cutting file, the Scalloped circle is in the Layered Labels 3 cutting file and the Easter egg I used was in the Hoppy Easter cutting File.  I attached the scalloped circle with foam tape, but the topper was easy to apply to the bag with my ATG tape runner..

It was so much fun and so easy to create these fun treat bag toppers. Now, I just cant' wait until Sunday so I can give these away to all those happy little Easter witches and bunnies that will come knock on my door  :)

Have a Scrap-tastic week, and don't forget to come back tomorrow for more PPPR inspiration.

Hugs
Nanné

Design Team Day & New DT Members Announcement

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  The AWESOME members of my Design Team have done a wonderful job this week using files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store, and I can't wait for you to see what they created.  But first, I have a project for you and some NEWS to share!  So, here's my project for this week:

I decided I wanted to use this week's Friday Freebie to create a quick and simple card this week.  The entire front of this card is created with the PPPR Easter Cross Cutting Files.  I embossed the cross with my Cuttlebug Forest Branches Embossing Folder, the yellow is embossed with the Herringbone Embossing Folder, the peach is embossed with the Candycane Stripe Embossing Folder, and the pink is embossed with a folder from the Simply Charmed Embossing Folder Set.  I assembled all of the cuts on the black background piece that comes with the cutting files set, and it was all done.  Easy peasy.  It really was easy because the yellow is all one piece, so I only had to piece together the pink and peach pieces and the cross.

Okay, now for the NEWS!!!  First of all, I'm so excited to say that all of the members of my Design Team have decided to stay.  YAY!  I can't tell you how happy I was to hear that!  So, that means that I only had a few spots open on the team...I didn't want our team to grow to more than 10 members.  So, I only had 3 spots to fill.  And, let me tell you, it was SOOOO hard to choose who to add to my little team.  All of the applicants are so talented, and it was really a difficult decision.  So, without further ado, here are the 3 new members of the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team:

Tanya Adams from Nonna's Craft Corner

Brianna Loeffelbein from Happy Scrapper

Shannon Morgan from Designs of a Paddymack

YAY!!! Congratulations, ladies!  We're so happy to have you guys join our team!  Okay.  Now for this week's Design Team inspiration from our "veteran" DT members.  The new ladies will be joining in on the fun next time. :)  Click on the photos to check out all of the details for the projects and to leave some sweet comments for these talented ladies. :)

Aren't these projects just AMAZING???  It would be so nice if you could take a moment to check out their blog posts and leave a sweet comment for them.  We all love sweet comments. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back on Friday with a Friday Freebie for you, and I'm also participating in a couple of fun Blog Hops this weekend.  YAY!  I hope to see you there!

Pink by Design ~ Not a Card Friday

Happy Friday, everyone! It's time for another Pink by Design Not-a-Card Friday.  This time, I just wanted to add a little something to a cute Easter ornament I found at Michaels.  Here it is:

I got the sentiment from the new Pink by Design Bunny Half Pint Stamp Set.  Since it's an acrylic stamp, I was able to bend the stamp as I was putting it on my acrylic block so it would work nicely on a curved banner.  I stamped it in pink ink, cut a banner around it with scissors, and added a few rhinestones to the end.  Then, I simply taped some twine to the back and tied it onto the ornament.  Easy, peasy!  I hope you like my super simple and quick project.

You still have a little while to link up for this week's Easter Challenge at Pink by Design. You can link up at the end of this post.

Also, don't forget that there's a Design Team Call going on right now for my cutting files/graphic store, Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR).  You can find all of the details for the call here.  The deadline is Sunday night.

Oh, and there's a new Friday Freebie in the PPPR store.  This freebie will be available for free for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent section of the store.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you'll come back tomorrow for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Welcome Home Blog Hop.  We'll have lots of great inspiration for you and some fun blog candy up for grabs. :)
