Guest Designer ~ Gloria Zuniga & New File & FREEBIE Friday

TGIF, everyone! My Guest Designer this week is Gloria Zuniga from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot.  She created some beautiful fall decorations.  The garland was created using the Falling Leaves and new Thankful Titles 1 Cutting Files.  The pretty treat bags were created using the Falling Leaves and Oval Window Treat Bag Cutting Files.  Aren't they just gorgeous?  You can check out all of the information about these projects on Gloria's Blog. It would be awesome if you could stop by to leave her some bloggy love about her projects. :)

Okay...now for this week's new files. This week, I added some pretty Thanksgiving-themed items to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.

I created three different sets of Thanksgiving-themed titles. These would be great as scrapbook titles or sentiments on cards, tags, or decor items. These titles are only available as cutting files, but the sets include .PNG and .JPG clip art files, as well.  You can see these titles in the store by clicking on the photos below.

I also decided to try something new.  Pocket-style scrapbooking is becoming more and more popular, and I find myself drawn to try out these Project Life inspired type of pages. So, I thought I'd try my hand at creating some Thanksgiving/Autumn-themed cards.  These are clip art cards, only...so the individual pieces will not cut.  But, the .PNG files can be used on digital scrapbook pages, printed out individually, or printed out as a set (a .PDF file is included to make this easier). They also make great backgrounds for greeting cards.  Each of the designs you see here is included in a 3x4" size and a 4x6" size.  So, you are getting 15- 3x4" cards and 15- 4x6" cards.  You can click on the photo to see this set in the store.

Also, there's a new FRIDAY FREEBIE in the store. This file will be available as a free download for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.  This freebie includes SVG., DXF, .JPG, and .PNG files. YAY!

I want to announce the winner of our PPPR and Peachy Keen Blog Hop.  The randomly-chosen winner of the $15 Gift Certificate to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store is J Ake.  I don't have any way to get in touch with you, so please e-mail me at lisanorris at prettypapergraphics dot com to claim your prize. :)

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and Peachy Keen Thankful Blog Hop

Happy Wednesday, everyone, and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) and Peachy Keen Stamps (PK) Thankful Blog Hop.  Today the PPPR and PK design teams are joining together to create amazing projects with a Thankful theme.  So, be sure to stop by each and every blog so you don't miss one bit of inspiration, and be sure to comment on each post for a chance to win some awesome prizes.  (I'll tell you more about that later).  For now, here are my Thankful projects:

First, I created this silly little card:

The background of this card is from the new PPPR Thankful Pocket Cards clip art set.  These printable cards are perfect for pocket-style scrapbooking, but they also work well as greeting card backgrounds.  The bowl of broccoli is from the PPPR Thanksgiving Feast Cutting Files set, and I added an adorable face from the PK Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment.  Then, I added some doodles, a computer-generated sentiment, and some jute ribbon, and my little card was all done.

I also created this fun little treat bag:

The little jack-in-the-box is from the PPPR Santa's Helpers Cutting Files set.  Of course, I added a sweet little face from the PK In the Garden Face Assortment.  I placed the toy on the PPPR Oval Window Treat Bag and added a sentiment from Pink by Design's Sweet Grams Stamp set.

Okay, now...how about some BLOG CANDY???

One lucky blog hopper will win a $15 Gift Certificate to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, and another lucky hopper will win a $15 Gift Certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps.  YAY!  So...be sure to comment on each and every blog along the way.  We'll announce the winners on Friday.

Design Team Day ~ Nov. 6, 2013

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  It's time for another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team Day.  Woo HOO!  I'll just get right to the projects...here they are:

For my project, I create a fun Doctor Who-themed card.  I created a shaped card using a file from The Doctor Cutting Files set.  That's also where I got the little guy, who I just printed and cut out like a sticker. The signs on the police call box are all print and cut, and I replaced the wording on the white sign with a digital stamp from The Doctor Sentiments Digital Stamps set.  That was super easy...I just clicked on the sign, filled it with a white color (which covered the existing wording), and added the digital stamp to the rectangle.  I stretched it a bit so it would fit better.  I added a couple of rhinestones to the door and his Sonic Screwdriver, and my card was all done.

Okay...here are the awesome projects from the Design Team members.  You can click on the links to their blogs to find out all of the details and leave them some love.

Jeanne ~ Jeanne's Paper Crafts
Nuts About You Cutting Files

Home Sweet Home and Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files

 Brianna ~ Happy Scrapper
Santa's Helpers and Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files

Love, love, love their projects!  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back on Friday with some new files and a FREEBIE!  Have a great day!

Guest Designer ~ Lisa Cassidy, New File Friday & Friday FREEBIE!!!

TGIF, everyone!  I'm so excited to have Lisa Cassidy from My Lil' Bits as my Guest Designer for this week.  Lisa created this silly and beautiful card using the Acorn Faces and Falling Leaves Cutting Files.  She also used papers from the Pumpkin Spice Pattern Pack 2 and Pumpkin Spice Plaid Grid Digital Papers.  I just love how fun this card turned out.  You can find out all of the details for her card on Lisa's Blog.  It would be wonderful if you could stop by to leave her some bloggy love today.

This past week, I've had a lot of fun designing some sets that I've been dying to get done for a while now. Here's what's new in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.

Three of this week's sets are perfect for all of you Doctor Who fans out there.  My hubby and I have watched all of the "newer" shows...the ones with the 9th, 10th, and 11th Doctors.  We can't wait to see what the 12th Doctor is going to be like!  Anyway, these three sets are inspired by the Doctor and his adventures. This The Doctor set is available as Cutting Files, Digital Clip Art, and Digital Stamps.

What fun would the Doctor be without his enemies? This The Enemies set is also available as Cutting Files, Digital Clip Art, and Digital Stamps.

I also felt that sentiments and titles to go along with these Doctor Who sets might be difficult to find, so I created this huge set of sentiments to go with them.  These The Doctor Sentiments Digital Stamps come as PNG and JPG files.  The PNG files can also be used as clipping masks in photo editing software, such as Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.

I added another Fancy Pillow Box, too, which has a little window on the front to show off the goodies inside. This one will hold longer items, like the pencils pictured here. You can find these Cutting Files here

And finally, there is a new FRIDAY FREEBIE in the store. This file will be available as a free download for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.  This freebie includes SVG., DXF, .JPG, and .PNG files. YAY!

Oh, and don't forget about the current Autumn Harvest Challenge going on now here on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Blog.  Link up your fall-themed Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons project, and you could win a Gift Certificate to the PPPR store.

Have a great weekend, everyone!  I'll be back next week with some fun projects to share.
