Holiday Cheer

Hello, it's Tina from Tina Time sharing a couple of cute files with you from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!!

Here are some "gift tags" I made for a couple of gifts we are giving this year… I know, they don't look Christmas-y but they were perfect for the gift!

I used Happy Hour and Bottle Tags from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons for my project!  These files fit perfectly every single time, so there is no cut and re-cutting when you use them.  It really makes the project go pretty quickly and smoothly!!  My kind of projects for sure…

I made the adorable little Martini guy from this file… I loved his face!  I love to stamp my own faces… I think I like using the white gel pen, but this little face was just too cute so I used it!  I glittered the eyes and the bottom of the glass, and embossed the "vodka."  I placed him on the new Bottle Tag which just happened to fit the bottle of Vodka I had in the freezer…imagine that??

I tied some curling ribbon around the stem of the glass to give it some texture… I have a friend or two in mind that will be getting this cutie for Christmas!!

Happy Harvest Apple

Hello PPPR Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing this cute "Smiling Apple" shape card.

With Thanksgiving in just a couple of days (for our USA friends), I wanted to make and share one last Fall card before all the Christmas crafting and blogging begins.

Details:
PPPR "Smiling Apple" from the "Apple Picking" cutting files
To make it into a card, I made a duplicate layer of the apple and added it to the back at the top to create a folded back.
Jaded Blossom "Let's Talk Turkey" stamp
papers from my stash

Thanks for stopping by and have a Great Thanksgiving Holiday week!

You Are The Bacon To My Egg

Hi friends! This is Leah Schaeffer today sharing a fun little card I created for my bacon loving husband. LOL! This was actually his birthday card this year, though not exactly birthday themed. Either way, bacon is totally appropriate for any occasion. Keep that in mind next time you need an idea! =)
The sentiment banner, toast, bacon and egg were all cut using my Silhouette Cameo and utilizing the print and cut feature. Even though, all those tiny pieces were all cut individually (yep, even including the tiniest heart, maybe the smallest thing I've ever cut before!)

The other banners pieces were hand cut and were a quick add. Along with the sequin and tiny gems (gosh, I need to do that more often, such a pretty element to add!)

Well otherwise a short post from me today since this was an easy project to put together. I was really just posting this to get you all hungry and your tummies rumbling for Thanksgiving this week! LOL!
Thank you so much for stopping in today, hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Time for school!

Hello! Ruth, here, and I hope you're having a great day!
Fall is definitely back to school time and with that comes school portraits when you've got kids. My layout today has a realistic portrait, but not necessarily the best. My 13 year old son is satisfied with it, though, so there will be no retakes.

What could be better for scrapping a school picture than the look of  cork? I just love that I can print a full page of cork for a background and even use it to fill a font for my projects.
I'll show you what I mean.
Perfection! A piece of notebook paper attached to a cork board and a cork title, too! And you better believe that you can find them in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store! You know what else you can find?
The texture of the ruler : Pumpkin Spice Out West Patterned Paper
The journaling star : School Titles Cutting Files
The speech bubble : Speech Bubbles Cutting Files
and the school papers are in the School Days Chalkboards and School Days Pattern Pack

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you'd like to see more detailed pictures of my layout, feel free to stop by my blog Paper and Musings.

Be sure to link up your fall projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files for the current challenge (follow the link in the side bar on the right.) I can't wait to see what you create!

Sometimes you have to create your own happiness...

Happy Wednesday!

I was so happy to see the NEW A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files last week.  I love making shaped cards and knew these would be fun to work with. I was especially excited to see the taller card, it would be great to create scenes on.

For my card base I used the NEW A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files.  To make room for my sentiment I made the white card stock a little taller.  The grass is from the Flower Assortment Cutting Files.  The hummingbird & tulip are from the Spring Garden Cutting Files.

The NEW A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files are still FREE until this Thursday 11/20/2014.  You can get it HERE

Have a great day!

Signs of Fall layout

It's that day today..
It's Nanné here and it's my day to share a layout I created..
For some of us, its the season of Autumn and with that comes cold rainy weather right?..LOL
I decided to use some of the Rainy Days Critters cutting file and created a fun autumn themed layout which will have a photo of my pups on there since be it rain, sleet or snow, they have to be walked at least twice a day..LOL

here is what I created:

and yes, I noticed I'm missing the little U in rubber..LOL
I just dont' have the heart to waste a big piece of cardstock cutting out a new one when I know its on my desk some where..LOL
I will find it...

how about a few close ups:

The tree is in the Happy Tree cutting file.
The title is a phrase I created with some free fonts I have in my stash..

This cute little guy is in the "Rainy day critters" cutting file and
the leaves are in the "Falling leaves" cutting file.

The frog is also in the "Rainy day critters" cutting file.
The cloud and rain drops are both in the "Rain or Shine" cutting file.

The rubber boots are also in the "Rain or Shine" cutting file and the large background marquee is in the "layered labels 1" cutting file.

and there ya have my post for today..
I wanna thank you for stopping by.
Now its time get crafty..
Till next time..
hugs
Nanné

Thanksgiving Card

Happy Monday, Nicole here today.  I am still trying to finish up some fall projects before I dive into any more Christmas/winter ones.  The weather has gotten cold here so it definitely feels more like winter than fall but my calendar tells me otherwise.  I wanted to have one more Thanksgiving card on hand so this is what I came up with -

This is an A2 sized card folded at the top.  I used PPPR's "Pumpkin Spice Pattern Pack 1" digital paper for my background paper.  I used the PPPR "Thankful Titles 3" cutting files for my title. I added some cute little acorns using the PPPR "Acorn Faces" cutting files and omitting the layer with the smile face on it.  I finished off my card with some doodling using my white gel pen; gold skittles and some fall colored twine.

Don't forget about the PPPR "Fall" challenge - I'd say my card fits in perfectly for this challenge :-)

Tree Cutting Time

Hi there!  It's Tina from Tina Time and its my day to show you a super cute file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!
How many of you actually cut your Christmas Tree down?  I think it would be a ton of fun to drive up into the mountains and scout for that perfect Christmas Tree… I live in the desert, so no tromping through the woods, or climbing any mountains to find one… but I picture this little guy doing just that!!

I used the file, Christmas Car with this sweet little Penguin driving home with his freshly cut tree… he looks cold… Brrrrrr ... I embossed the car and then added snowflake brads for the tires.  I then cut a simple box by hand.  I plan to put a small tree ornament inside and hand deliver to a friend.

What do you think?  This file would be a great card or used as a tag on a package… I would love to know how you use it!!

Check out this file and tons of other cute and festive cuts at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!  The files are so quick and easy to put together… Thanks for stopping by!!!
