*{You Make Miso Happy}*

I've become a big fan of cards. I never thought that I would say that, I always felt like I was card impaired! I have come a long way card wise, but I think when you're excited to work with a company,  it makes it that much more easier to create.

I worked with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Silly Sushi Cutting Files on this friendship inspired card! It of course has a silly pun of course!

Here's a close up of the dumpling and miso soup bowl!

Check back on the blog tomorrow for a freebie, some new files and an awesome Guest Designer!

Mom's Little Monsters

Hi all! Leah Schaeffer sharing with you today. Today is making me realize how darn close we are to Summer and I'm not all convinced that I'm ready for that! LOL! But luckily it's still Springtime and we enjoyed a little rain over the weekend, which was extremely needed here in California. I was inspired by this time of year to create this layout and chose these soft colors (which is a diversion from my usually bold color palette).
I love creating scene scrapbook pages and it is so easy to do with all the incredible files that Lisa has to offer! I chose these flowers in particular because I hadn't cut them before and I liked the abstract feel. When I was designing this and playing with the monster, I got the idea to have them be as "little" monster in a super big world (kinda like the bugs in your Springtime garden!)

And below you'll find the files for each cut I used for this page...

Turtley adorable!

Hi, it's Ruth from Paper and Musings with a belated birthday card that I created using the super cute Birthday Critters Cutting Files
Birthday Critters Cutting Files
and A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files.

Here's my card:

I really felt that it might take a long time for this little cutie to make it to deliver that yummy cupcake (and I hoped he would distract from how late it was...) After looking at the files, I'm thinking the elephant needs to be my next belated card with this sentiment, since an elephant never forgets!

Thanks so much for visiting today!
Have fun celebrating birthdays and such and getting crafty!
Don't forget to Go Green and join in the challenge (see the challenge page for more details!)

Happy crafting!

1st Birthday

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project today I made a Birthday card for my nephew who will be turning one next week.
The card base is a A2 size and that adorable little monkey as well as the balloons are from  PPPR Birthday Critters Cutting Files. I used a Versa Marker to outline the dark parts of the monkey and inked up the edges of the number one and the balloons with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink. For some added detail I went around the card base and number with a black sharpie marker and a white gel pen for the party hat and balloons.

What I used:
Pretty Cute "Wish Big" Stamp Set
Versa Marker
Heidi Swapp Black Velvet Color Shine
Tim Holtz tea dye Distress Ink
Tim Holtz mustard seed Distress Ink
Tim Holtz mowed lawn Distress Ink
Tim Holtz faded jeans Distress Ink

We  have a PPPR Go Green Challenge going on now till  Friday, May 8, 2015 For more info click HERE.

Thank You for stopping by and hope you have a great day!

Spring is in the air-Project Life

Hi fellow crafters..
I'ts Nanné here today to share a  Project life spread I created using some of the cute cutting files from the PPPR store..

Here is what I created:

this is the left side of the page

Last week we had pretty much had our first week of spring..
I want to show case what we did last week, bu adding some fun cutting files to my spread..
for example, My husband oiled our wooden patio and furniture, he made a holy mess outside and had to have his beer while doing it..  He also ended up complaining the whole time, so I had to add the cute little angry crab along with my phrase, cause I love him even when he's being a little crabby..LOL

and now for the right side:

I baked some chocolate chip cookies and as I was eating a few, my dog was begging for some and barking at the crows that were flying around our back yard..  I added the sun cause it was a sunny week and we had high temperatures at 10 celcius (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit, but its still a bit cold).  I did add the fence, half painted with the paint can of black wood oil, since that is what I ended up buying..  the umbrella is cause it did rain for a few days last week and the tree's are starting to bloom, so had to add some flowers to my spread..

Here are the files I used to create my Project life pages:

fence
Trees
pale set

flower pots and planter

Crab
Chunky arrow

Umbrellas and Sun with clouds

Flowers
Leaves

Cookies
Crow

Beer bottle
tag
Photo mats

Rake

and there ya go fellow crafters..
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time..
Have a scrap-tastic week
hugs
Nanné

Scooping Up Some Fun

Happy Monday, Nicole here today.  I hope you were able to join the PPPR design team this weekend and hop along with our "Go Green" blog hop.  Today I have a layout to share with you that I created -

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Ice Cream Treats" cutting files to create the title and also the cute sundae.  For my youngest daughter's birthday we celebrated with frozen yogurt instead of the traditional cake and I thought these files were a perfect way to scrapbook the memory.

I chose not to use the sprinkles on my project but they do come with the cut file if you need them for your project :-)

I chose to use the "Ice Cream Treats" cutting files BUNDLE but they area also available individually too.

Thanks for stopping by today!!
