You're Moovelous! layout

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here today to share a "Moovelous" layout I created using some of the fun Valentines/Love themed cutting files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon store.

Here is what I created:

I found this photo of my daughter as she was brushing her horse and thought it would look great with these die cuts, even though they are more of a cow, but she is on the farm..LOL

How about a few close ups:

Here are the cutting files I used to create my layout:

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my design team project for today's post..
Till next time..

Mom's Little Monsters

Hi all! Leah Schaeffer sharing with you today. Today is making me realize how darn close we are to Summer and I'm not all convinced that I'm ready for that! LOL! But luckily it's still Springtime and we enjoyed a little rain over the weekend, which was extremely needed here in California. I was inspired by this time of year to create this layout and chose these soft colors (which is a diversion from my usually bold color palette).
I love creating scene scrapbook pages and it is so easy to do with all the incredible files that Lisa has to offer! I chose these flowers in particular because I hadn't cut them before and I liked the abstract feel. When I was designing this and playing with the monster, I got the idea to have them be as "little" monster in a super big world (kinda like the bugs in your Springtime garden!)

And below you'll find the files for each cut I used for this page...

A layout 20 years in the making!

Hi, Ruth here and I'm sharing a layout with a picture from when I got my bachelor's degree back in 1995. My wonderful classmates posted this picture to Facebook and I felt like scrapping the picture now that it's coming up on 20 years since I graduated (can I just say that I can't believe it's been that long!!!)

Papers are from Man, Oh Man Pattern Pack 1, the clouds are from Kite & Clouds Cutting Files, and the arrows are from Borders 4 Cutting Files.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Happy crafting!
Ruth

Beach Bums

Beach Bums
Hello all! Leah Schaeffer here today to share this fun page! Ok…not too much into the coming season but hey..it is still VERY warm here in sunny California! So…hope it's okay to share!
One of my favorite ways to design a scrapbook page featuring die cuts is to use one BIG center of focus image. Yes, little is cute but big means a grander impact on your page. Then you can come in with those smaller details. I started with a sandcastle and pretty much sized it as large as possible to fit my page. Do keep in mind, you really want to have your photos chosen first. Know what's going on the page and then size everything around those pictures! Trying to fit it the other way around is a pain! I promise!
And don't forget the background! Add layering, not only think matting photos but think of background! Adding the super big sun in the back adding another layer, more interest and more color to the page. Same with the clouds. You could of added nothing to the sky but this is SO much more fun!

To mimic a beachy feel I sprayed a tan and brown mist on the paper and inked my separate piles of sand. I sprayed the sandcastle as well and chose 3 different tan colors and textured paper for more interest. Each cut on the page was also inked in matching colors (sand, shells, etc).

And how about the amazing cutting files I used!

Thank you SO much for coming by and letting me keep you warm on this Monday! =)

Added lots of layers with foam tape :)

how about a few close ups:
Tucked the tree behind the house and added the sentiment I created to top.

added some flowers and the grass trim which are both on the "Flower Assortment" cutting file..
and decided to add a "hidden" key, which is the "Heart Lock" cutting file

The clouds I used are on the "Kite and clouds" cutting file
and a few drop of liquid pearls for small details..

and there ya have my Home Sweet Home card..

Life's a Breeze

Good Morning!

I'm so happy Summer is finally here.  I'm already planning several trips to the beach with the kids.  One place we like to go is Long Beach down by the Long Beach Aquarium.  They have a cool little walk way down by the water where you can see all the boats that are in the harbor.  I thought it would be fun to make a little card inspired by all the boats we see.

I used the Star Spangled Card Cutting File for my card base.  The adorable Sail boat came from the NEW Sail Away Cutting File and the clouds came from the Kites & Clouds Cutting file.  I made the waves by using the Borders 5 Cutting File.

Don't forget to head on over to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and check out the Count Down to Summer Sale.  You'll get 40% off your ENTIRE purchase!

Clouds and Kite Shaker Card

Happy Monday! Nicole here today to share a shaker card I made.  I have been so inspired by my DT sister, Brianna's, shaker cards and wanted to give the shaker card phenomenon a try so here is what I came up with

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Kite and Clouds" cutting files set for my kite and cloud cut outs.  I created a shadow for my kite to make it a bit sturdier so that I could pop it up on foam dots.  I used the negative cut for the clouds.  I backed the designer paper with acetate and then used foam tape to pop that layer off the card base so that I could insert the sequins.  I love the way it turned out!!  Thanks for stopping by today. For more details on my card please visit my blog.
