I made this cute shaped card using PPPR cutting files and the Silhouette Cameo, it's so perfect for a little boys birthday card, I just love it! All you have to do is select the images you chose to use, arrange them how you want, group them together, go to offset to make a border around the whole image, duplicate that image for a top layer, take one of the border images and go to replicate, you have the choice to replicate it to the right, left, top or bottom, do which is easiest for your image. Then move the image so that it overlaps slightly, go to align, click which is best for your image, then weld!! Put the Border image for the top of your card and glue everything together! Easy Peasy.

Home Sweet Home Card

   Hi everyone! Leah Schaeffer here and I am so happy to be sharing at my FAVORITE die cut designer shop! I never tire of using PPPR files! With that said, even though I have used some of these images in the past, I still find ways to reuse them and make them feel totally different!     One of the things I love most about card making is being able to make something special, for a special occasion. A precious friend of mine is going through a very difficult divorce. She's pretty much been hopping home to home for almost 6 months and finally, thank God, got an apartment! So this one's for her! I'm excited so I had to share the story behind this.     Okay, so I used one of my favorite die cutting techniques which is layering multiple cut files. Trying to cut dimensional foam tape behind this title would have been impossible. The easy part, is cutting multiples and then gluing those together. They really do go together very easily. My favorite glue is Tombow Mono Multi glue, the small detail tip makes putting some pieces together super simple.     The yellow title pieces is 2 pieces. The blue another piece and then the W and E another 3 layers. Making this title 7 layers all together! But I adore how this stands out! I did use dimensional foam behind the title shadow pieces.     Here is the file I've used to create this... Home Sweet Home      Appreciative of you visiting us! Thanks for stopping in! Mushroom House

    Leah with you today and hoping you all had the most blessed Easter weekend! We certainly did at our house. And speaking of houses, my little card features one of my very favorite single image files here at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon. The darling mushroom house that is part of the Gnomies Cutting Files. I'll admit, I used this file very often. From a recent card using the sweet bird nest to using the lantern in Halloween projects! So fun!    In a simple design you can make more impact by paying attention to the details. For example, inking all the layers. That really helps each layer stand out more. The most attention was put into the mushroom house. In total there is well over 30 layers!       You can use foam tape for dimension, which I've done with the green hill and house. Or you can cut multiples of the same layer. For example the red on the roof was cut 3x and glued together. The doorstep and windowsill is 5 layers. It's just a different way to build dimension and layers, and interest! Adding an embossed sentiment just wraps up this super sweet card!     And the sweetest cut files ever... Just a walk in the park layout

Hi fellow crafters..

It's Nanné here to share a cute layout I created using some photos of my husband as we took a nice walk through a park here in Finland a few summers ago..

I found a font in my stash, cut it with my cameo and then flipped the letters onto the back of some corrugated cardstock, traced the edges and then cut with scissors. I then inked the edges with some distress ink..

I added lots of layers to my layout by putting my paper piecing's together using foam tape..

and the bees are just too cute for words..

Spring themed pocket letter

Hi everyone..
It's Nanné here today to share a fun Spring themed pocket letter I've created for a swap that I've joined with a lady in Japan.. I'm so excited about sending it and I'm so addicted to sharing my projects with awesome crafter's from all over the world..

Here is my pocket letter:

I tried to stick with Spring colors and added lots of spring themed goodies to my pocket letter

how about some close ups and details:

Added the work HI using some free fonts that I found online, adding the pencil to make it look like its hand written :)

Seed packets and a water can, plus flowers..  

I also created a bottle cap charm.. Super easy.. I fed it through my Cuddle Bug to flatten it, then created the center using my Silhouette software.. Made a circle shape just under 1" and added the umbrella and text on top.. Then I print and cut around edge, used glossy accents to adhere it to the bottle cap and adding more glossy accents to the top.. Punched a hole with my Crop-a-dile and then the key chain :)

What Spring themed pocket letter is complete without a cute little spring lamb and tulips.

Home Sweet Home Puppy

   Hi puppy lovers! Leah Schaeffer with you today to share my very first fur baby layout ever! Little Toby came home to be with us just a year ago and these were some of his very first photos with us. Honestly think this little guy is the sweetest doggy I've met! Such a love! So being able to create this felt like a wonderful treat.     I wanted to design a page that had that happy, spring day kinda feel and I think that each file I pulled images from ended up being perfect. The dimension to the page was easily created by thinking of the scene you are creating. The additions of the clouds for example just add one more layer. Popping the forefront images helped again to add a feeling of space on the page.     Trimming and adding foam tape to this title may have taken forever, but really helped bring attention to this detail. As well as the layering and inking.     All of the layers were inked. Yes, that is a bit time consuming but by doing so, each and every layer of each image really comes to life! To add even a bit more, I used my markers to add details. Dots on the buttefly, "fur" on the doggy, details on the snail. Even each flower center has a detail inside! Also mixing some printed paper with solid paper adds a bit more interest then only one or the other.     All those images can be found here... Moving Day layout

Hi everyone.. Its Nanné here today to share a fun layout I created to capture our moving day..
We've lived in this town house for 15 yrs now and decided we wanted some thing bigger and we wanted more privacy, so we found a great house and we'll be moving next month..

Anywho, here is the layout I created:

I wanted to create whimsical layout using some of the fun cutting files from the PPPR store..

how about some close ups:

the car with luggage is on the "Are We There Yet?" cutting file, where the nest with eggs is in the "Gnomies" cutting file and the home heart is in the "Home Sweet Home" cutting file..  the scalloped edge on the bottom is in the Borders 2 cutting file.

I used the Melting Ice cutting file and made boxes out of it :) added some fun cooking elements (Baking Fun cutting file) into it and then added a stack of suit cases.

This cute little girl is from the Valentines Kids cutting file, I have her holding a box instead of a heart.. The title I created using free fonts I found online..

added clouds and a tree as well.. I just like adding lots of fun details to my layouts..

The clouds are in the Rain or Shine cutting file and the tree is in the Happy Tree cutting file.

We've Moved Card

Hi fellow crafters..

It's Nanné here to share a cute little We've Moved card I created as my design team project..

We are in the midst of packing, painting and moving.  I thought what a fun way to let my friends and family know our new address etc than to create a cute little shaped card.. Wanted to keep it semi simple since I will need to make about two dozen of them :)

Here is what I created:

I created the pretty shaped card using one the labels from the Layered labels 2 cutting file, I copied and flipped the image, then welded them together to create the card base..

That cute little house is in the Home Sweet Home cutting file and then the banner is in the "Sentiment Spots 3" cutting file.  I added some dots with white paint and then added light green stickles to the bushes underneath the windows..

and their you have my cute little "We've Moved" card..

Spring has sprung layout

Happy Tuesday fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here to share a cute little Spring themed layout I created..
I have big plans for our back patio this spring and once the mornings warm up, I'll be able to plant some flowers and greenery and as a scrapper, you know I'll be taking photos while I work..LOL

So, here is the layout  I created for one of those photos:

Don't you just love those rubber boots.. One of my fav's for sure..
I was able to create this cute layout using a few of the Spring themed cutting files..


how about a few close ups and some details:

I found the best rake ever to use on my layout and its in the 

Fall Fun cutting file.. It went great with my rubber boots :)

These great planters and the tulips are in the Spring Garden cutting file..

the fence in the background, that's in the Home Sweet Home cutting file..

The rubber boots, rain drops and umbrella are in the Rain or Shine cutting file.

I wanted to create a big banner and found the banner in the Simple Banner cutting file

My photo mat also looked like it could use a little something in the background and found this piece of notebook paper in the Notebook Pages cutting file

and this cute watering can, well its also in the Spring Garden cutting file and scalloped sides are in the Borders 2 cutting file..

Whew..LOL their ya go, my cute spring themed layout using a few cute cutting files..
