Home Sweet Home Puppy

Hi puppy lovers! Leah Schaeffer with you today to share my very first fur baby layout ever! Little Toby came home to be with us just a year ago and these were some of his very first photos with us. Honestly think this little guy is the sweetest doggy I've met! Such a love! So being able to create this felt like a wonderful treat.     I wanted to design a page that had that happy, spring day kinda feel and I think that each file I pulled images from ended up being perfect. The dimension to the page was easily created by thinking of the scene you are creating. The additions of the clouds for example just add one more layer. Popping the forefront images helped again to add a feeling of space on the page.     Trimming and adding foam tape to this title may have taken forever, but really helped bring attention to this detail. As well as the layering and inking.     All of the layers were inked. Yes, that is a bit time consuming but by doing so, each and every layer of each image really comes to life! To add even a bit more, I used my markers to add details. Dots on the buttefly, "fur" on the doggy, details on the snail. Even each flower center has a detail inside! Also mixing some printed paper with solid paper adds a bit more interest then only one or the other.     All those images can be found here... Hugs!

Hey.... Y'all

Happy Wednesday!

Do you ever buy some stuff with good intentions on using it but then never do?  I did that a while back with a couple of stamp sets.  I bought these stamps so long ago that I don't even remember who made them.  Oops.  I finally remembered the name of the company (K Andrews Designs) and thought it was about time that I finally make the projects that I was planning on making.

The card base is from the Photo Frames 2 Cutting Files.  The hay is from the Nativity 1 Cutting Files.  The little chick is from the Cute Chicks Cutting Files.  The Farmer Girl is from the On the Farm Cutting Files.   Her face is from Peachy Keen's In the Garden Face Assortment.

Nanne also used the Farm Girl on her layout yesterday.  You can check it out here.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Just Horsing Around

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here to share a fun layout with you that I created using some of the files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon store..

Here's what I created:

My daughter loves going horse back riding and has several horses she takes care of for the owners when they don't have the time to do themselves..

How about some close ups and details:

The wind mill and fork are in the " On The farm" cutting file.. The tree and fence are in the

"Home Sweet Home" cutting file.

This cute horse is in the Farm Critters cutting file and his hay is located in the "On The Farm" cutting file.

and this cute little farmer gal can be found in the "On The Farm" cutting file and her chicken

is located in the Farm Critters cutting file and finally, I used the clouds from the "Kite and Clouds" cutting file.

and their ya have my fun horse themed layout..
Thanks for stopping by today
Till next time.

Just 'chicken' in!!

Good morning! Jeanne here from Jeannes Paper Crafts sharing my design team project!

When I was looking through the PPPR files, I came across this adorable little chicken coop from the On The Farm cutting files. And since I hadn't used the cut before, I figured I needed to. :) And of course the little chick in the Cute Chicks files works perfectly with it!

The card base was created in Silhouette Studio using a file from my library.

The sentiment for my little chick comes form the Jaded Blossom Udderly Adorable stamp set.
