What's The Scoop?

Hey all, Leah Schaeffer sharing something to help ya cool off. Hopefully! Sure has been hotter then heck here in Northern California! I really wanted to just play and create when it was time to make this little card. One way to come up with a project is to sit and check out the cut files that you own and just see what jumps out at you. I've never cut this ice cream container so I decided to go for that and also this new stamp shaped cutting file.

If you want a cut file to really pop, consider making a shadow for the shape, like the pink shadow for the stamp frame. It helps draw attention to the shape. Also by cutting a few of the same shape and staking them for dimension. You can use foam adhesive or just cut multiples.

And here are the darling files I used today...

Scooping Up Some Fun

Happy Monday, Nicole here today.  I hope you were able to join the PPPR design team this weekend and hop along with our "Go Green" blog hop.  Today I have a layout to share with you that I created -

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Ice Cream Treats" cutting files to create the title and also the cute sundae.  For my youngest daughter's birthday we celebrated with frozen yogurt instead of the traditional cake and I thought these files were a perfect way to scrapbook the memory.

I chose not to use the sprinkles on my project but they do come with the cut file if you need them for your project :-)

I chose to use the "Ice Cream Treats" cutting files BUNDLE but they area also available individually too.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Scoopin' up with Fun layout

It's another Tuesday Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon reveal for this gal..LOL

It's Nanné  here and  I've been "scrappin up some fun!" with
the super cute "Ice Cream Treats!" cutting file ..

A while back, I ran across the cutest photo of my kids when they were super young eating ice cream at the dinner table and when I seen these cutting files in the Pretty Paper , Pretty Ribbon store I knew I had to find that photo and scrap it... Now, do you see a photo on  my layout?  No of course not.. After going through all of my boxes of photos, I could not find that ONE photo I wanted.. Urgh.. Talk about disappointing.. But, I am so glad I have this layout all done cause I know I'll run into that photo one day when I'm looking for another one and I'll snatch it up and finally put it where it belongs :)

So, here is that layout:

The colors are a bit off.. I had to take this photo inside due to rainy autumn days and the the lights inside didn't wanna play nice :(

but you can see all of the fun details I added..

Uuuuuu, how about some close ups:

with two boys being so close of age, the older one always teased the younger one. Oh the sweet memories :)  I wanted to capture that with the ice cream cone on the head,  I Love that upside down ice cream cone...

Which you can get it "Oopsie Ice Cream Cone" cutting file..

Thank you Lisa for that one.. Me likey!!

and the little girl holding her ice cream cone, she's also in the "Ice Cream Treats" cutting file, the house and the tree are in the "Home Sweet Home" cutting file..

The title is just about the cutest with the little scoops that represent the O's, which comes in the Ice Cream Treats Cutting file..

and finally the ice cream truck, which can be found the Ice Cream truck cutting file.

I added the musical notes (Rock On cutting file) to represent the music you hear when the ice cream truck comes around :)

and there ya have it.. My layout in search of a photo..LOL

Thanks for stopping by today and taking a look at my layout..

Till next time..

hugs

Ice Cream, "Happy Birthday!"

Good Morning!

How is your week going?  Mine is going great.  Today is my friend Lorie's 50th Birthday.  So I thought I would make her a birthday card to celebrate it.

The card base is from the Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files. The Banana Split is from the Ice Cream Treats Cutting Files.  Both of the cutting files are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

The first face is from The Snow Cuties Face Assortment.  The second face is from The Moodies Face Assortment.  The last face is from The Cornies Face Assortment.  All the faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps.  The twine is Strawberry from The Twinery.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great week!
