Keep Dreaming Everyday

Keep Dreaming Everyday

Hey all! Leah Schaeffer stopping by to share with you today! Did you all have a great holiday weekend? Well, for you States wide friends I guess! =)
I took a great cut file from the shop, Simple Banner Shapes. I started with opening the file in my design software. I wanted the banner to reach across the page and so I welded the single banner line with the double (the banner is then 2 pieces and not 3 as it appears, see cut file photo below). A little pulling and shaping and it was a great fit! The only time consuming part was adding the title to the banner line. You can use any font that you like, which is great! So very slowly I took letter by letter and slightly overlapped with the banner line. Once I liked how it looked, I selected all the elements and welded! You easily can do this without welding it as one piece and just set the letters above the banner. The clouds are a layer of card stock with a layer of vellum cut in a shadow to the bottom cloud. Normally we create a shadow to go under an image but the sheer vellum allowed this shadowed shape to sit over. Love that extra texture in person! You could easily cut that bottom cloud in some great pattern paper and then the vellum would help kinda mute that. Lastly I added a few grey hearts and some gems to finish off the design!

Your tent or mine?!

Hi PPPR fans! Jeanne here, from Jeanne's Paper Crafts sharing my design team post!

July, in my house, means it's camping time!
We usually start camping in June, but the past month we've been having a detatched garage built behind our house, so we haven't been able to get out yet.

Oh and just an FYI...I don't camp in a tent, but I still had to make this card! :)
Today's card is a scene card. I found all of the files on the Camping Fun cut file set. (Except for the moon, which was just a basic moon I had in my Silhouette Library.) The trees were cut from the title within the set. I actually found the sentiment first, and then based my scene around it. It's from the May Release over at Peachy Keen Stamps. You can find it here.
I love, love, love this background paper from the Echo Park Happy Camper collection. Could it have been any more perfect for my project?!
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink kraft cardstock
Echo Pack Happy Camper 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Camping Fun cut files
Peachy Keen Stamps A Little Light Camping

I hope you all have a fabulous day!

You Make Me Giggle!

Hey, everyone! Have you ever had one of those friends who makes you giggle like a little kid every time you're around them? They know just the thing to say to make you laugh. Well, today I have a card just for a friend like that.

I got this cute little froggy from the new PPPR Gnomies Cutting Files set. I added him to a Spellbinders shape I cut with my Cuttlebug (I had already powered down my Cameo and didn't want to fire it back up). :) Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Pretty Cute Stamps Hamster Cutie stamp set on a shape from the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files set. I added a pretty red ribbon and some enamel dots, and my little card was all done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. We'll be back tomorrow with more PPPR inspiration. Have a great Saturday!!!

Happy Birthday

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a Hawaiian style birthday card I made. The card fits in an A2 envelope.
I used the tiki bar cut from the adorable PPPR "Aloha Cutting Files" to make the shape of the card and the cute couple is also from the same file. I used Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids and Peachy Keen Princess Face stamp for the faces. The sentiment is from Pink By Design  "Aloha" stamp set. I used Cuttlebug "Herringbone" embossing folder, chalk, ink and white gel pen for some detail. Totally love the way it came out and loving the PPPR "Aloha Cutting Files".

What I used:
Pink By Design "Aloha" stamp set
PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment stamp set
PK-640 Princess Face Assortment stamp set
Cuttlebug "Herringbone" embossing folder
Pebbles Chalks
Memento Rose Bud ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink

We also have a Vacation challenge that is going on now. You can link up your project HERE.

Thank You for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a good and relaxing summer.

4th of July Layout

Good Morning!

I can't believe that it's already July.  Time sure does fly once the kids are out of school.  With 4th of July a couple of days away I thought I would get ahead of the game and make a layout.

The circle is from the Scalloped Circles Cutting File.  The title is from the Fourth of July Titles Cutting Files.

The firework is from the Fantastic Fireworks Cutting File.  The twine is from The Twinery, it's called Midnight Blue.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a safe 4th of July.

Are we There yet? Scrapbook layout

TGI-Tuesday..LOL
Its Nanné here from Nanne's Creations to share a layout I created using one of my favorite cutting files by Lisa and that is the "Are We There Yet?" cutting file..
Because we live in Finland (moved here in 96) we try to visit friends and family that live in the States as much as possible..
Our very first trip back was in 2005, we went to spend the Christmas holidays there..
I decided it was time to scrap the photo of my three kids (then in their early teens) as we were waiting at the Helsinki airport to board our flight..

Here is what I created:
I was able to put my Glitz papers to good use along with these cute die cuts..
I also created a mask, that I used to dab brown paint to create the hexagon back ground :)
and rubbed a bunch of distress ink to the edges of the white card stock to age it a bit..

How about a few close ups:

Love the font in the title, its way too much fun..
I attached it to the layout with foam tape..
I also decided to add the tickets and a suitcase, just to have a nice cluster of embellishments, plus a scalloped trim to the bottom and that's in the Borders 2 cutting file..

The clipboard cutting file is a great and fun way to add a little journaling to the layout..
our flight left at 7am and we weren't at our best that early in the morning..LOL

We all had two suitcases each when we travel, we were gone for 5 weeks..
I love the stack the suitcases in the Are We there yet cutting file..
I love that fact that the cutting files are layered, so you actually get more to work with..

and there ya have it..
This was definitely one of my favorite layout's I've created in a long time.. Loved looking at our vacation photos and I'm so excited to get more of them scrapped..  :)
So, till next time..
Hugs
Nanné
