Graduation Cards times 3!!

Happy Monday, Nicole here today.  Well, I needed 3 more graduation cards to make it through the season so I made 3 of the same card but used the school colors for each recipient to personalize them.  

These came together rather quickly using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Hats Off" cutting files for both the hat and sentiment cuts.  I added some black gems for the top of the hat and did some doodling with my white gel pen and it came together easily.  Thanks for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you for your next batch of graduation cards.

Rock A Hula

Hello everyone, Brianna here with today's post! I made a fun little luau card to share with you all today.

Files Used:

Aloha Cutting Files

I used my Silhouette Studio to turn this sweet little hula girl into a digital stamps. I colored her in using my Spectrum Noirs markers.

Markers Used:

Skirt: CG1,CG2,CG4

Top: BP3,BP5,BP6

Hair: BG3,BG5,BG6,BG7

Skin: TN2,TN3,TN4,CR3

Flower: CR7,CR9,CR11,DR4

Eyes: IB2

I also used the adorable little tiki hut from this set and cut the pieces out using paper and Silhouette.

I created my sky background by using a stencil and some Tim Holtz distress ink.

PPPR Vacation Blog Hop

Hey, everyone! Happy Saturday, and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Vacation Blog Hop. The wonderful ladies from my PPPR Design Team and I have created some fun vacation-themed projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. For my project, I decided to create a simple vacation-themed mini-album. 

Now, I've never created a mini album before, so I started out super simple. I created the shaped cover by cutting out two suitcases from the PPPR Are We There Yet? Cutting Files set. I added a computer-generated sentiment to the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files for the front cover. Then, I just created an accordion-fold set of pages from 6" x 12" strips of kraft cardstock. Each page, once folded, measures exactly 4" x 6". So, when I'm ready to fill the album, I can either add just 4" x 6" photos to the pages and call it a day, or I can cut the photos down a bit and add more embellishments. Or, I can do a combination of the two. I have tons of travel photos trapped in my computer, so I'm excited to find just the right ones to fill up this album and show my love of travel.

It's SUMMER!

Well, almost...but it counts..HOT + SUNNY + BORED CHILDREN = Summer

We're in full summer boredom swing. You can only go to the pool so many times. Yet we still go each day...because I think Paddy and Mack are part fish. I'm certain there's gills behind their ears or something. We're reading, waiting and anticipating an upcoming trip to Michigan! ❤

In the midst of preventing mutiny at my house, I have been hard at work creating!

Exciting News!!!

Hey, everyone! Happy Hump Day to you! I have some exciting news that I've been dying to share with you guys! As you know, I've been having a blast designing cutting files and digital papers for my store, Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Graphics. Well, I'm just so happy to announce that I am now starting up my own little line of stamps. They are called Pretty Cute Stamps (get it...Pretty Paper...Pretty Cute?).  

These stamps are peach-tinted photopolymer stamps and will feature a combination of my images and fun sentiments to go along with them. My first release will be next Wednesday, June 18, and I can't wait to show you the new sets!
