I bought a little pack of 3 Post-It Notes and decided to make a simple little cover for them. First, I glued the 3 pads together with my adhesive runner. Next, I cut a rectangle of patterned paper (I got this from the DCWV Sweets stack) that measured 7-1/8" by 3-1/4". I scored the paper at 3-1/4" and 3-7/8" (which is 3-1/4" from each end). Then, I glued the bottom of the stack of Post-Its to the inside of the cover with my adhesive runner, and I used glue dots to hold the "binding" of the little cover to the glued edge of the stack. Then, I added a bow, and I was all done. I love how the little border of the paper looks on the front of the cover. I know it's really simple, but I think it will be the perfect little thing to add to the bag of goodies. I only made this for my youngest daughter's teacher. My older daughter's teacher never seems to have red pens when I go in to help him out in the classroom, so he's getting a BUNCH of red pens in his bag. :o)
I hope you like my simple little project. Thanks for visiting!

Valentine's Teacher Gift
The girls and I have a long weekend together since Monday is a teacher work day at their schools. So, it's a perfect weekend to work on Valentine's treat bags for their classes...more on that later. We're going to make treat bags for their teachers, too, but I want to put a little something extra in their bags. Here's a little gift I made for one of the teachers:
