TGIF!!! It's time for another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge. The theme this time is TOYS, TOYS, TOYS! So, we needed to use a die cut of a toy on our project. Here's what I created:
I got this fun little toy soldier from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Santa's Helpers Cutting Files set. I added a banner I hand cut and some circles I punched with circle punches to set off this sweet sentiment from Pink by Design's Merry Be Your Days Stamp Set. I embossed the larger circle with my Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder, and I added some tiny rhinestones to the background paper for a little sparkle.
This card did fit in a #10 envelope until I added that big ol' banner. Oh, well! :) I'll figure out a way to mail it. I hope you like it, anyway!
Now, it's your turn. Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other wonderful DT members created, then link up your own project using a DIE CUT of a TOY. We can't wait to see what you create! :)
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll come back tomorrow for the PPPR Winter Blog Hop. We'll have some fun projects to share and some awesome blog candy. We hope to see you there!
What a cute little soldier! And I always do that when I make cards - make them for a certain envelope and then forget and add something fab that makes it to big or to thick.
