PPPR Vacation Blog Hop

Hey, everyone! Happy Saturday, and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Vacation Blog Hop. The wonderful ladies from my PPPR Design Team and I have created some fun vacation-themed projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. We also have a great prize up for grabs, are offering a special surprise for hoppers, and will be kicking off our new challenge for this month. For my project, I decided to create a simple vacation-themed mini-album. 

Now, I've never created a mini album before, so I started out super simple. I created the shaped cover by cutting out two suitcases from the PPPR Are We There Yet? Cutting Files set. I added a computer-generated sentiment to the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files for the front cover. Then, I just created an accordion-fold set of pages from 6" x 12" strips of kraft cardstock. Each page, once folded, measures exactly 4" x 6". So, when I'm ready to fill the album, I can either add just 4" x 6" photos to the pages and call it a day, or I can cut the photos down a bit and add more embellishments. Or, I can do a combination of the two. I have tons of travel photos trapped in my computer, so I'm excited to find just the right ones to fill up this album and show my love of travel.
