To My Favorite Chick

You know that feeling when you make a card that you just love, that you keep going back to look at, that just makes you smile?  Have you ever had that feeling, or is it just my and my weirdness?  Anyway, I had that feeling today when I finished this cute little card:

I don't know what it is about it, but I just LOVE this little card!!!  I think I'm going to send it to my mom (she collects chickens).   I designed it on my Gypsy so I could get everything just the size I wanted.  The card  measures 5.5" x 5.5".  I got the sun and hills and the hen from Country Life, and I got the three little chicks from Simply Charmed.  I added a stamp from My Pink Stamper's Tweety-Hoo Puns, some chalk, and some stitching/highlighting lines, and it was all done!  I'm really happy with how it turned out.  I hope you like it, too.

I'm entering this little card in the Tacky Tuesday's Challenge that is going on right now (we're supposed to use the chick from Simply Charmed).

Thanks so much for stopping by!  If you like what you see on my little blog, I'd love it if you'd become a follower.  Oh, and I love reading comments...they make me smile!  :o)  Have a wonderful day!!!

  4. This is the cutest card!! Everything you make is so full of detail!! Thank you for my blog award!!! I'm going to try and pass it along tomorrow. Now I have a question---(might be a dumb one---when you make cards with such "non traditional" sizing, what do you do for an envelope?? Do you just make one on your cricut, or is there an envelope retailer I should be looking in to??

    Thanks again for my award!
