PBD It's All About Fall, Ya'll Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I get to choose the theme for this week's Ink it Pink Challenge. The theme this week is "It's All About Fall, Ya'll".  I don't know about you, but I'm ready for there to be a little chill in the air.  Don't get me wrong...I don't want it to be cold, but I could use a little chilliness.  Anyway, here's what I made for the challenge:

I got this great sentiment from Pink by Design's Bountiful Blessings Stamp Set.  The pumpkins are from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Pumpkin Patch Cutting Files Set, and the scalloped borders are from the PPPR Borders 2 Cutting Files Set.  The background paper is from the PPPR Pumpkin Spice Pattern Pack 2 Digital Paper Pack.  I added some pretty fall ribbon, lots of ink, and some foam tape, and my little card was all done.

Now, it's your turn.  Link up your fall-themed project you create using Pink by Design stamps below, and you could win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pink by Design.  YAY!  We can't wait to see what you create!  Have a great day, everyone!

PBD Up, Up, & Away Challenge

Hey, everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  It's time for another Pink by Design Challenge.  YAY!  The challenge theme this time is Up, Up, & Away.  So, you can link up any project that makes you think of UP...something with skies, balloons, kites, sun, stars, rainbow...you name it! Here's what I created for the challenge:

This sweet sentiment is from Pink by Design's Illuminate Stamp Set.  I got the clouds and  balloon from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Patriotic Balloon Cutting Files Set.  I "erased" the stars on the balloon and filled the pieces with digital papers.  Then I print and cut it in one piece...so it's sort-of like a sticker.  Those papers and the other patterns on the card cam from the PPPR Spring Fling Digital Paper Collection.  I added a few doodles, and my card was all done.

Now, it's your turn!  Head over to the Pink by Design Blog to see what the other DT members created this week.  Then, link up your own Up, Up, & Away project there or at the end of this post.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back on Wednesday with another project to share. :)

In Your Neck of the Woods

Hey, everyone!  I have another project to share with you that goes along with our Pink by Design Camping Challenge.  Here it is:

I got this fun sentiment from Pink by Design's Just Sayin' Stamp Set, and I stamped it on a shape from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files Set.  The trees are from the new PPPR Camping Fun Cutting Files Set, and the card base was created with a shape from the PPPR Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files Set.  That fun plaid background is from the PPPR Pumpkin Spice Gingham & Plaid Digital Paper Pack.  Oh, and the trunks on the trees are made from toothpicks. I love the texture they add to the card.

Now, it's your turn!  Link up your camping project below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back a little later with some more projects to share.

PBD Anything But a Card Friday & a FREEBIE!

Happy Friday, everyone!  It's time for another Anything But a Card Friday here at Pink by Design.  I've created a beach-themed treat to share with you today.

I created this little treat bag using the Pink by Design Just Beachy and Summer Vacation stamp sets.  I colored the sand castle and bucket with my Copic markers. The cutting files for the bag, itself, is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) K-Cup Treat Cutting Files.  The sentiment is stamped on a cloud from the PPPR Kite and Clouds Cutting Files set.

Don't forget about the Pink by Design At the Beach challenge that is going on this week.  You can link up your beach-themed project at the bottom of this post.

I also have a new Friday Freebie for you.  This file will be available for free for one week, then it will move to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.

What Makes You Happy

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  It's At the Beach week over at Pink by Design, and I have another Beach-themed project to share with you.  Here it is:

I created this cute little beach scene using stamped images from Pink by Design's Just Beachy Stamp Set, which I colored with my Copic Markers.  The fun sentiment is from Pink by Design's Illuminate Stamp set.  The cloud background paper is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Spring Fling Pattern Pack of Digital Papers.

I created the sand by tearing kraft paper and embossing it with my Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder.  Then, I inked it with some brown Fluid Chalk ink.  I also used torn paper...this time some white core paper, for the waves.  I embossed those papers with the same folder and used a white gelly roll pen to highlight the "bubbles".

Don't forget to join in on this week's challenge: At the Beach. You can link up below. :)

Pink by Design Mother's Day Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Pink by Design, and the challenge this time is to create a Mother's Day-themed project.  Here's what I created:

This entire card was created using the print-and-cut feature of Silhouette Studio.  I got the daffodil from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Spring Garden Cutting Files set.  PPPR SVG files come in full color, so I just separated the pieces and printed them out so I wouldn't have to search for all of the colors of card stock I'd need.  I also printed the background papers...which I got from the new PPPR Spring Fling Pattern Pack of Digital Papers.  I added a wonderful sentiment from Pink by Design's Our Mothers stamp set, some chalk ink, and some lace ribbon, and my card was all done.  Super simple and quick.

Now, it's your turn.  Link up your own Mother's Day-themed project below for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design.  You have until Saturday night to link up.  We can't wait to see what you make. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back on Wednesday with some new files for you.  YAY!

Gooder'n Grits & a Friday FREEBIE!

TGIF, everyone!  It's time for another Not-a-Card Friday over at Pink by Design.  So, I decided to use this week's new Friday Freebie to create my project.  Here it is:

This bag topper is the new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Handled Treat Bag Topper 2.  I wanted to use this sentiment from Pink by Design's Cowboy Take Me Away stamp set and these boots from the PBD Best in the West stamp set, so I chose some masculine, western-y looking colors.  I colored the boots with my Copics...I just chose colors that I thought coordinated with the plaid paper. I embossed the base with my Cuttlebug Mesh embossing folder and added lots of ink, and my topper was all done. :)

So...how would you like to have this fun treat bag file?  It's the new PPPR Friday Freebie, so you have one week to download it for free.  Then, it will move to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.  You can find the freebie here:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!  Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Sometimes Life Sucks

Hi, everyone!  It's time for another Pink by Design project.

I got this adorable vacuum and sentiment from the Pink by Design Heat Things Up Stamp Set.  Isn't that vacuum so cute?  I stamped the vacuum on patterned paper, cut it out, then colored in some of the parts with white and silver gel pens.  I stamped the heart separately with red ink, cut it out, and added it to the vacuum with a pop dot.  Then, I added some cute red buttons to serve as the wheels of the vacuum.

I created the card shape by using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Scalloped Circles Cutting Files.  I duplicated the base shape, used release compound path to get rid of the half circle holes, mirrored the shape to the left, then welded the tow together.  The white circle is embossed with my Lifestyle Crafts Bloom Embossing Folder.  I dded some ink and some foam tape for dimension, and my card was all done!  I hope you like it!

Don't forget about this week's Pink by Design Challenge.  All you have to do is link up a Thinking of You project, and you could win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design...YAY!

Thinking of EWE

How are you on this fine, happy Monday?  I'm super happy that it's time for another Pink by Design Challenge.  The challenge this week is to create a Thinking of You project.  I had a lot of fun with this challenge.  Here's what I came up with:

I got this cutie sheep from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Rainy Day Critters Cutting Files Set.  I created the card base by using the outset feature on the base layer of the sheep and welding that outset to a rounded rectangle.  Then, I mirrored that shape I created to the left and welded the two shapes together.  The sentiments are from the Pink by Design Spring Has Sprung and Country Living Stamp Sets.  I added some ink, so chalk cheeks, and some washi tape, and my card was all done.  I hope you like it!

Now, it's your turn.  Link up your own Thinking of You project below for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design.  You have until Saturday night to link up. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! :)

Pink by Design Easter Challenge & a WINNER!!!

Happy Monday!!!  I hope your weekend was all you hoped it would be. :)  It's time for another challenge over a Pink by Design...YAY!  This week's challenge is to create an Easter-themed project.  SOOOO easy peasy!  Here's what I came up with:

This sweet little bunny and sentiment is from the Pink by Design Bunny Half Pint Stamp Set...on of the sets I designed for the latest PBD release.  This one is called a Half Pint because it is a 3x4 inch set.  So cute and fun! I got the egg shape from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Hoppy Easter Cutting Files Set.  I mirrored the base egg shape and welded the two together to create the shaped card base.  Then, I made another copy of the base egg shape and sized it smaller so I could stamp my bunny on it.  I colored the bunny and his eggs with my Copic markers.  I added some ink around the shapes and some doodle marks, and my little Easter card was all done.  I hope you like it!

I also have a winner from the Pink by Design March New Release Blog Hop.  The winner of the stamp set and the 6x6 paper pad is:

Congratulations, Deb C!  I'll be e-mailing you so you can send me your mailing address.  Be sure to check your junk/spam folder, just in case. :)

Okay, now it's your turn!  Link up your own Easter project below for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Pink by Design.  You have until the night of Saturday, March 23 to link up.  We can't wait to see what you create!

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Simple Banner Shapes to create this rainbow-colored banner with some scraps from my scrap box.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design's To the Moon Stamp Set.  I added some ink, some twine, and some washi tape, and my simple card was all done.  I hope you like it!

Best in the West ~ Ink it Pink Challenge

Happy Father's Day, everyone!  Today, I wanted to share the card I made for my dad for Father's Day this year.  He loves all things western and cowboy-ish, so this is what I created for him:

This card measures 5.75" square.  I got this cowboy silhouette and the barbed wire from the Silhouette Online Store.  I thought this weathered wood fence background was perfect for the card, and I added a little bit of red bandanna paper as a border.  It's kind-of hard to see, but I also added a sentiment at the bottom, which I got from Pink by Design's Best in the West Stamp Set

I used the same papers to decorate the inside and repeated the barbed wire border along the bottom.  The YEE HAW! sentiment and the cowboy stamp are from Pink by Design's Cowgirl Up Stamp Set.  The Father's Day sentiment is from Pink by Design's Our Fathers Stamp Set.

I used lots of ink to help the pieces of the card pop, and my dad's card was all done.  I'm hoping he'll love it and display it proudly in his western-decorated room. :)

This card is also perfect for Pink by Design's Ink it Pink Challenge!  This week's challenge is to create a masculine card or project...so go link up anything manly HERE.
