Rodeo Time with Farm Critters & Cookout Cutting Files...

Katy here, with an Inside to my Heart...I hope everyone's weekend is going GREAT!!!

My husband and I went to our local Rodeo last weekend...first time we've been in about 15 years!!! I took a couple of shots that I wanted to scrap and remembered our CUTE little Farm Critters!

I have a few friends who ask me all the time "How do you do 1-page layouts...I'm a 2-page layout girl!"...well, instances like THIS is why! It wasn't a BIG ordeal for me and my husband so I didn't take a whole lot of pictures but I wanted to commemorate the occasion with a layout...hence the 1-page, short & sweet layout!

Doesn't this paper Cheeseburger look good enough to EAT!!!

Head over to my BLOG to see what pictures I plan to use once I get them printed!

Here are the files I used in case you want to go grab them...

You're the Bread to my Butter

Happy New Year's Eve!!

Before I get to my project today I just want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Years.  My hubby, kids and I will be spending the holiday at his parents house.  Do you have any special plans for the holiday?

In January my hubby and I will have been together 15 years.  In July we will be married for 10 years.  I thought I would make a scrapbook layout about us.

For the shape of the pattern paper in the background I used the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files.  The Bread and Butter are from the Bread & Butter Cutting Files.
The title is from one of my Quickutz fonts that I've had forever.  The twine is Pink Sorbet from The Twinery.

Thanks for stopping by today!  See ya next year!

Happy New Year!

❤{You're One Tough Cookie}❤

I'm sharing a quick post today showing you how the simplicity of a "journaling card" can make a big impact.

Using Lisa's graphics is a perfect way to accomplish this.

All you need to do is print out your file and cut it to a 4X3 size.
(You can use a corner rounder and round the corner or leave it as is.)

Check it out on the layout, I layered it with other papers and some alpha stickers. I used Lisa's Cookies & Milk Cutting File:

Here's the layout I created of Mackenzie, she's going through a big spiritual growth stage and it's pretty amazing who she's growing into, I wanted to jot down a few notes about it.

Here's a close up of the cookie card:

Thanks for letting me share with you today! Make sure you stop by tomorrow for even more inspiration, a new file and a freebie!
