Tools of the Trade layout

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here to share a fun layout I created of my son Aaron who works for his dad as an Auto Mechanic :)

Here's what I created:
I absolutely adore this tool set :)

How about some close ups and details about the layout:
the oil containers are potion bottles that added the word OIL to :)

My son being a goof ball as always..
(Takes after his mother LOL)

Had to add a car to layout..
I decided to make it a red one since the garage owns a little red car

My cluster of tools..LOL

I decided to add the clipboard, red screwdriver and flashlight to my layout cause its what they use the garage at a daily basis.. All of them keep a little screwdriver in their shirt pockets along with a little flashlight, plus carry a clipboard around with the work order on it which they fill through out the day :)

Cutting files used to create my layout:
Tool time cutting file: Tools and tool box

and theirs my cute little layout of my son :)
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my layout
Till next time
hugs

Super Racers

Hi all! Leah Schaeffer here to share a super scrapbook page! I have a big superhero fan in my youngest and so I've been overdue to create a page for him like this! We just saw Marvel Universe Live in Sacramento last weekend so I just may to have to do another page like this! I'll make sure to share if I do!
My original plan was to cut all of these guys with the print and cut feature. However I am having die cut machine and printer issues so no print and cut for me. I bring this up because I did end up spending the time to cut these guys in all their layers and I am SO glad I did! They ended up SO great! So good even, that my little guy wanted to keep them and play with them and not put them on the page...thought that was saying something! Lisa really did an amazing job with these!

I layered lots of stickers on the page from many boy paper collection packs. Too many to mention. I also created a gear border (Robots Cutting File) by welding gears and then cutting that piece in half to add in two parts of the layout (layered under yellow ric rac).

With everything going on I also offset a couple extra colors behind the title so that it stood out a bit.

We thank you for stopping by today and hope to see you tomorrow, and the next day, and well, the day after that! hehe! Always something to share! Hugs!

My heart throbs for you

Happy Wednesday!

Hope you are having a great day!  Today I have a cute Valentine's Day card to share with you.  I will be linking this up with the Made with Love challenge that is going on now.  You still have time to join us, it doesn't end until January 31, 2015.

I used the A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files for my card base.  The sentiment spot is from Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.

The Robots are from the Robots Cutting Files.  I love that just by changing the colors of their clothes they can be either for girls or boys.  Their faces are from Peachy Keen's Variety Face Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
