Rainy Day Frog

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at the Action Wobbles Blog, and I have a happy little spring card to share with you today.  Here it is:

I got this fun little frog from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Rainy Day Critters Cutting Files Set.  The card base is from the PPPR Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files Set, and the clouds are from the PPPR Kite and Clouds Cutting Files Set.  I added some sentiments from Pink by Design's It's a Wrap 2 Stamp Set and some washi tape, and my little card was all done!

Oh, and I can't forget the most important part...I put that adorable little frog on an Action Wobble.  Ready to watch him dance?

Whee!!!!

You can get your own Action Wobbles from The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Castle Shoppe.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back on Wednesday with some more projects for you. :)

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #50: Tree Time

Hi, everybody!  It's Monday, so it's time for Challenge Me Monday over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.  The challenge this week is called Tree Time.  You can use any kind of tree on your project...a pine tree, a palm tree, or even a branch will do.  I had so much fun creating this card!  There are so many great tree cuts out there, and I got the chance to make my very first easel card!  Here it is:

Awww!  Doesn't that little panda look so lonely?  Look...he set a place for someone, but they're not there.  :o(  So sad.  Being a military wife, I know how this little guy feels.  We are always away from someone, whether it be family, friends, or my husband.  Missing someone is just no fun!

This easel card measures 5.75" square.  I used the Pagoda cartridge for all of the cuts except the bushes and grass, which came from Everyday Paper Dolls, and the circle, which came from Birthday Bash.  I used my Cuttlebug, the Plum Blossom and Forest Branches embossing folders, and some ink to add a little texture, and I love how it turned out.  I tried to cut out some chopsticks, but they were just too tiny, so I used some tootpicks instead.  Ha!  I think they add just the right touch.  The sentiment was computer generated, and I added some red fibers to jazz up the base a bit.

I hope you'll head on over to FCCB to see what the other Design Team members created and enter the challenge yourself.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping today.  If you like what you see, I'd love it if you'd leave a comment and become a follower.  Have a great day!

Miss You Berry Much

Hey, you!  Did you know I'm having a 100 follower giveaway?  Read all the juicy details here.  :o)

I have another card for you.  I decided to make a "Miss You" type card today.  There are just so many people, both family and friends, that I miss like crazy.  Being part of a military family does that to you, especially when you live an ocean away from everyone.  So, I made this card to send to my mom and dad.  I also made the card for a couple of challenges.  Scrappy Moms Stamps is having a Simply Charmed Challenge, and My Pink Stamper wants us to make something that makes us happy (at least that was one of the choices).  It definitely makes me happy to think of the smile on my mom's face when she gets this little card.

This card is a 5.75" square.  The bowl of strawberries is from Simply Charmed, and the circle is from Birthday Bash.  I added some stitching lines, buttons, ribbon, and a computer generated sentiment, and viola!!!  All done!  I hope you like it...I can't wait to send it to my parents!  :o)
