Homemade FROZEN Waffles...

Katy here with AN INSIDE TO MY HEART...I'm so excited to show you my layout today!

Today I'm sharing a layout documenting the waffle bar we had a couple of weekends ago. My daughter is in love with the movie Frozen...I mean who isn't, right? So...I had the great idea of making her "FROZEN" waffles by adding some snow-themed sprinkles to the batter before I threw them in the waffle maker then adding some on top once they were cooked. The waffles really did turn out pretty tasty..definitely will be a repeat recipe!

-------------------------------------
Look at all those layers...LOVE that about Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files!

Here's a look at the files I used...

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope my layout inspires you to either create or make FROZEN waffles!!!

She's got some Smarty Pants!

Yep, even though the challenge is over, I could not resist these super fun new files Lisa added to the shop!
I mean look at them!
Science Lab Cutting Files
Science of Love Cutting Files
They were so perfect for the story of my daughter and her Sophomore Chemistry class. Here's what I did with the new files and a couple of others.

And here's a closeup.

I printed the chemistry lab related images and the atom image on vellum (I know - I need to seek some help for my vellum dependency) and the radioactive symbol on photo paper and then had my Cameo cut them out. (I used the "no" symbol because her class did hardly any labs and somehow my daughter did an awesome job without all the fun of doing labs and received an achievement ribbon so good for her!)

The other shapes I used are:
Photo Frames 1 Cutting FilesSpeech Bubbles Cutting FilesSentiment Spots 3 Cutting Files

So do you have some ideas brewing for how to use these files? I sure hope I've inspired you and I hope you'll share your projects in the challenges here or in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Facebook group whenever you create anything with Lisa's files!

Happy crafting!

Talk Nerdy To Me

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

Today I have a sweet little treat made using PPPR "Nerdy Hamster Cutting Files". I also used PPPR "Bookworm Couple Cutting Files" for the sunglasses and the bow on the girl hamster.  The hearts from PPPR "Valentine Sweets Cutting Files". I added some glossy accents to the eyes and glasses and outlines the super cute hamsters with a VersaMarker. The sentiment is from PBD "Chick with Brains" stamp set.  I used vellum paper to wrap the box of Nerds candy.

 What I used:
 PPPR "Bookworm Couple Cutting Files

Back 2 School

Happy Wednesday Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons fans!  It's Michelle from Purple Monkey Moments, and I am here to share a project that I created with some amazing PPPR files.

Isn't it ca-ute??!!  My kids go back to school next week, so I want to make some cute back to school stuff for them.  I used this week's freebie on this card.  I think it is the most ADORABLE nerdy apple!  You can find it HERE, and you can pick it up for free if you grab it before Friday!

The apple is laying on one of the labels from "Layered Labels 1".  I love this file for all sorts of things.  I have used it as a layer for cards, like I did in this card, and have used it as the base of some fun tags.  I also think they would make great flags for a banner.  You can find the file HERE.

You can see all of the cute SVG files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons in the SHOP and be sure to check out all the details of my card over on my blog.

A la prochaine,

Moving Day layout

Hi everyone.. Its Nanné here today to share a fun layout I created to capture our moving day..
We've lived in this town house for 15 yrs now and decided we wanted some thing bigger and we wanted more privacy, so we found a great house and we'll be moving next month..

Anywho, here is the layout I created:

I wanted to create whimsical layout using some of the fun cutting files from the PPPR store..

how about some close ups:
the car with luggage is on the "Are We There Yet?" cutting file, where the nest with eggs is in the "Gnomies" cutting file and the home heart is in the "Home Sweet Home" cutting file..  the scalloped edge on the bottom is in the Borders 2 cutting file.

I used the Melting Ice cutting file and made boxes out of it :) added some fun cooking elements (Baking Fun cutting file) into it and then added a stack of suit cases.

This cute little girl is from the Valentines Kids cutting file, I have her holding a box instead of a heart.. The title I created using free fonts I found online..

added clouds and a tree as well.. I just like adding lots of fun details to my layouts..
The clouds are in the Rain or Shine cutting file and the tree is in the Happy Tree cutting file.

Thank you for stopping by today..
Till next time..
hugs
Nanné

"Just for You" tags

Hello!!  Nicole here today with a fun project to share with you today :-)  I created a set of tags for my oldest daughter.  She is going to use these to decorate some gift bags she is giving to friends and family - inside the bag is a special card and gift asking them to be in her wedding - so this is the first craft I have made for her wedding!!  I created the tags using her wedding colors - navy and pink.

I created a set of 7 of these tags using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Layered Tags  1" cutting files.  The flower is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Flower Assortment" cutting files.  I cut two flowers for each tag and used some foam tap to create some dimension.  I added a white enamel dot to the center of each flower and finished off the tags with some navy twine.

Thanks for stopping by today!!
