A'hoy! Water Baby layout

Hi fellow crafters..
It's Nanné here to share a cute little layout I created using some of the pirate and under the sea cutting files..

Here the layout I created:

The photo I used is of my son Aaron at the age of one and he is swimming with his dad :)
I wanted to create a whimsical layout to go with this baby photo..

How about a few close ups and some details:

Because my son is my treasure, I added the treasure chest :)

What sea themed layout is complete, without a pirate ship..

I wanted a play on words style title for my page, so my octopus is holding my title..

I had so much fun creating a fun bottom of the sea look using some of the under the sea images, like the fishy's, anchor and sea shell..

Here are the files I used to create my layout:
The images are linked to the correct file in the PPPR store..

New Arrival

It's Nanné here today to share a layout I created for my daughters friend who just had a baby boy a few months back..

Here's what I created:
Lots of fun baby themed goodies :D

How about some close ups and details:

This cute little baby, the box of wipes, baby powder, diapers and safety pins can be found in the "changing Time" cutting file.  I also used one of the bon bon holders from the "Valentines Sweets" cutting file to create the bed for the baby :)

The title I created using some free fonts I have in my font stash, I embellished it with some safety pins and hearts.. The hearts are from the "Valentines Sweets" cutting file..
I thought the layout could use some trim, so used the circle border from the "Borders 1" cutting file.

I wanted to add a few toys to this layout and the sail boat from the "Sail Away" cutting file was perfect :)  I added a few flourish swirls and those are in the "Flourish 2" cutting file.
The photo mats I created, well I used the Stamp edge label from the "Layered Labels 3" cutting file.

Love love love this cute little stork holding the baby.. He can be found in the "stork and baby" cutting file.

and what's a baby layout with out a teddy bear and a onesie..LOL
The teddy bear is in the "Santa's Helpers" cutting file and the onesie can be found in the "Changing time" cutting file..  I also wanted to use a hanger, I found one in the "Mommy to be" cutting file. I then used my knife tool in the SIL software to remove the hanger from the clothing.

and that explains how I was able to create this cute little baby layout :)

Thanks for stopping by today..
till next time..

Nautical Gift Bag

Nicole here today to share a gift bag I decorated for a baby shower I recently attended.  The shower was for a baby boy so I thought it would be fun to use the newer PPPR "Sail Away" cutting files set.  I used the boat file and cut it out large enough to decorate my gift bag.

This went together so quickly and I just love using my cut files to jazz up and personalize gift bags.  Thanks for stopping by today!!  For more information on my gift bag, please visit my BLOG.

Life's a Breeze

Good Morning!

I'm so happy Summer is finally here.  I'm already planning several trips to the beach with the kids.  One place we like to go is Long Beach down by the Long Beach Aquarium.  They have a cool little walk way down by the water where you can see all the boats that are in the harbor.  I thought it would be fun to make a little card inspired by all the boats we see.

I used the Star Spangled Card Cutting File for my card base.  The adorable Sail boat came from the NEW Sail Away Cutting File and the clouds came from the Kites & Clouds Cutting file.  I made the waves by using the Borders 5 Cutting File.

Don't forget to head on over to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and check out the Count Down to Summer Sale.  You'll get 40% off your ENTIRE purchase!
