Roller Skate Layout

Happy Monday, Nicole here today and I have a scrapbook layout to share with you.  I was inspired by my design teammate "Nanne" to use print and cut on some of my layout to help it go together faster and to be able to add more layers to it.  This is what I came up with -

My photograph is of my husband and I at the local roller skating rink so I tried to pull in as many elements as I could that reminded me of things I would see or do at the roller skating rink.  Here are some closeups -

Most of my cuts are print and cut except for the star which I cut out with colored cardstock.  I did do the layers for the tickets but used the print and cut feature to do them.  Here are the PPPR files I used to create my layout -

"Vintage Arcade Game" cutting files
"80s Child" cutting files (roller skate)
"Fair Fun" cutting files (tickets)
"Fair Food" cutting files (snocone and cotton candy)
"Movie Popcorn" cutting files
"Best Buddies" cutting files (star)
"Layered Label 3" cutting files (photo mat)

Moving Day layout

Hi everyone.. Its Nanné here today to share a fun layout I created to capture our moving day..
We've lived in this town house for 15 yrs now and decided we wanted some thing bigger and we wanted more privacy, so we found a great house and we'll be moving next month..

Anywho, here is the layout I created:

I wanted to create whimsical layout using some of the fun cutting files from the PPPR store..

how about some close ups:
the car with luggage is on the "Are We There Yet?" cutting file, where the nest with eggs is in the "Gnomies" cutting file and the home heart is in the "Home Sweet Home" cutting file..  the scalloped edge on the bottom is in the Borders 2 cutting file.

I used the Melting Ice cutting file and made boxes out of it :) added some fun cooking elements (Baking Fun cutting file) into it and then added a stack of suit cases.

This cute little girl is from the Valentines Kids cutting file, I have her holding a box instead of a heart.. The title I created using free fonts I found online..

added clouds and a tree as well.. I just like adding lots of fun details to my layouts..
The clouds are in the Rain or Shine cutting file and the tree is in the Happy Tree cutting file.

Thank you for stopping by today..
Till next time..

Taco Night layout

Hi fellow scrappers.
It's Nanné here to share a fun layout I created using the Mexican Food cutting file..

We had Taco night last week and my mom came over for dinner..So, I snapped a few photos of her as she was eating her dinner..

how about some close ups and details:

aren't these chips cute or what?..

I also used one of the seed packets and added a heart and sentiment to it..
to represent the taco seasoning :)

I added the burrito and hot sauce bottle to the left side of my layout.

Mr Taco is on the bottom along with my fun title phrase..

I then decided it needed a little something, so added jalapenos and leaves around the yellow circle and then used the cheese spots from the chip bowl to create photo corners :)

Here are the files I used:

Falling Leaves Cutting Files Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files
Seed Packet Cutting Files Valentine Sweets Cutting Files
