PPPR Fun with Puns Blog Hop

Hey, everyone! Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Fun with Puns Blog Hop. We have all sorts of fun and PUNNY projects to share with you today using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. We also have a fun freebie and a chance for your to win a Gift Certificate to the PPPR store. Oh, and we're also kicking off our next challenge theme. So, grab a muffin and some coffee, and settle in to see some awesome PUNNY designs. Here's what I created for the hop:

I used several sets to create this fun little card. I created the card base using a shape from the Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files set. The little squirrel is from the Nuts About You set. I used the release compound path feature in Silhouette Studio to remove his little nose and tooth from the squirrel so I could make them a little smaller. That way, the glasses from the Bread and Butter Cutting File would fit more naturally on his little face. Of course, he wouldn't be adorkable enough without his little graphing calculator from the Secondary Supplies Cutting Files. I put all of the files together in my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition software, created an offset outline, and did a print and cut with the whole image. That way, I could just pop it right on top of my card base without worrying about all of those tiny calculator pieces cutting out! I added a fun sentiment from the Pretty Cute Stamps Adorkable stamp set, and my fun and punninlicious card was all done!  Here are links to the products I used for my card:

Of course, I have a sweet little freebie just for you guys. This sweet little punny typewriter will be available for FREE on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14 ONLY. Then, it will be available for purchase in the PPPR store. You can get this freebie HERE:

Feel Better Friend

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is having a great week. Today I would like to share a little altered gift bag that I made for my best friend. To dress up my bag I used PPPR Oval Label Treat Bag Topper Cutting Files and inked it up with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn, Wild Honey, and Vintage Photo distress ink. The sunflowers are cut from PPPR Flower Faces Cutting Files. I removed the face and flipped one of the flowers horizontally. Inked it up with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn, and Wild Honey distress ink before gluing it together. The grass is cut from PPPR Flower Assortment Cutting Files and I used chalk on the grass instead of ink. The sentiment is from PBD "Artisan Tags 2 stamp set. The tiny  butterfly's are from a  recollections punch and I used a nail file to sand the edges.

What I used:
PPPR Flower Assortment Cutting Files

PPPR Flower Faces Cutting Files

PPPR Oval Label Treat Bag Topper Cutting Files
PBD "Artisan Tags 2 stamp set
Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn distress ink
Tim Holtz Wild Honey distress ink

Congratulations!

Good Morning!

Recently a cousin of mine because the Principal at her school.  I thought I would make her a card with their school mascot to congratulate her.

For the card base I used the Star Spangled Card Base Cutting Files.  This is one of my go to files that I use a lot for cards.  The panda came from the Birthday Panda Cutting File.  The heart on his belly is from the Sweet Hearts Cutting Files.  The stack of books is from the Secondary Supplies Cutting Files.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Don't forget to come back for the Fun with Puns Blog Hop this weekend.

Spread your Wings Card

Happy Tuesday fellow crafters..
Its Nanné here to share a card with you I created using one of the Flowers from the Spring Garden cutting file and creating a 3D flower..

Here is what I created:

It measures 6x6.. The branches are on the Honey Bee's cutting file
and the scalloped frame I created using the Scalloped borders from the Borders 2 cutting file.. I just
welded 4 of them together to create the frame :)

close ups anyone?

used foam tape in between the layers of the flowers and then dabbed some baby blue
and green stickles on it..

Here you can see the stickles on the leaves..

and my cute butterfly all stickled up..
and there you have the card that I created..

till next time..
hugs
Nanné
