Hi, everyone! Welcome to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and Emily's Back to the 80's Birthday Blog Hop. Emily was made in the 80's, so we're celebrating her birthday with some AWESOMELY GNARLY projects.
If you've just come from Emily's blog, you're in the right place. If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, hop on back to Emily's blog. Be sure to check out all of the projects on the hop and leave some love for everyone. There's sure to be some TOTALLY TUBULAR blog candy along the way.
For my project, I decided to make a little gift box and card combo that are, LIKE, TOTALLY 80's! Here are my projects:
I cut all of the shapes for my projects using my Silhouette Cameo. The box file was just a blank box, and it came from the Silhouette Online Store. I drew the little rounded squares in Silhouette Studio, and sized them to fit my box. You should have seen me gluing all of those little squares on there! I love how it turned out, though. The box is about 2.75" cubed...which is the perfect size for some sweets (if you're HUNGRY LIKE A WOLF) or even jewelry (if you're a MATERIAL GIRL). ;)
I also got this fun cassette tape shape card from the Silhouette Store, too. I added a sentiment from Pink By Design's I Love the 80s Stamp Set. I also added a few more on the inside just for fun:
I hope you like my projects! Now, how about some BODACIOUS BLOG CANDY???
One lucky follower will win this Pink By Design Snowflakes Stamp Set. Here's what you need to do for a chance to win:
1. Be a follower of my blog and leave a comment telling me you are. Be sure to include your e-mail address.
That's it! That's all you need to do to have a chance to win. If you'd like additional chances, though, you can do one or all of the following:
2. "Like" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons on Facebook and leave a comment here telling me you did. Be sure to include your e-mail address.
3. Post my blinky on your blog. You can find it on the right side of this page. Please leave me a comment with your blog address and your e-mail address.
Please, only US or Canadian addresses. I'll choose one winner after I get back from vacation...sometime around Dec. 29th.
Now, hop on over to Abby's blog to see, LIKE, what TOTALLY RADICAL project she has in store for you! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Lisa this is just so like totally rad! I remember how mad my boys used to get when they tried to figure out that Rubiks cube...it would end up thrown across the room most of the time! Love the card as I wonder how many cassettes I owned during that decade? Great projects for this fun hop!
