PBD Technique Wednesday

Hey, everyone!  I'm back with another Pink by Design project to share with you.  Today, we're showcasing projects that use a layered die cut.  I know, I know...most die cuts are layered, but they can really be made special by using foam tape or pop dots to pop up certain layers.  Add ink to that, and your die cut will really shine!  I created a fun birthday card that goes right along with our Rainbow theme for this week.  Here it is:

This fun cupcake came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Birthday Panda Cutting Files.  I popped up all of the rainbow colored icing layers with pop dots.  I stamped this sentiment from Pink by Design's Birthday, Birthday Stamp Set on a shape from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  The background shape is from the PPPR Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files.  I added lots of ink and some doodle lines, and my card was all done.

This card goes perfectly with our current Pink by Design Challenge: RAINBOW!!!  You can play along by linking up your rainbow-themed  project below:
