Gamer Birthday Card, New Files, and Friday FREEBIE!

TGIF, everyone!  I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to a Happy New Year. Before I get to the new files I added to the store this week, I'd like to share the card I created for my hubby's birthday, which happens to be today.

To create this card, I used the brand new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Ultimate Gamer Cutting Files set, along with the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files and a sentiment from Pink by Design's Birthday Birthday stamp set.  My hubby loves playing video games, so I'm hoping he will like this.

Okay, here are this week's new files, which are perfect for the video gamers in your life.  I'm scheduling this post way ahead of time because of the holidays, so just head on over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store to find these new files.

Some Treats and New File & Friday FREEBIE!!!

TGIF, everyone!  WHEW!  I can't believe it's the Friday before Christmas.  Things have been extra busy around here as we prepare to have family visit for the holidays.  So, I only had a little bit of time to get together treats for my youngest daughter's classmates.  Here's what I created:

I simply printed a bunch of these little cookies from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Christmas Cookies Cutting Files set.  Then, I typed a sentiment onto a banner from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  Then, all I had to do was use my Silhouette Cameo to cut them all out, staple the banners onto these fruit snacks, and use a glue dot to attach the cookie images.  If you're wondering why I chose to send in fruit snacks, one of my daughter's classmates has a severe peanut allergy, so these were the easiest and most budget-friendly treats I could find to send in. Different than what I would usually do, but Taylor is happy, and that's all that matters.

I made 30 of these babies...but they didn't take much time, at all, to put together.  Easy peasy!

Okay, now...on to this week's new files.  I created these silly little Breakfast Sweets, which are available as Cutting Files and Digital Clip Art.

Also, there's a new FRIDAY FREEBIE in the store. This file will be available as a free download for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent Downloads section of the store.  This freebie includes SVG., DXF, .JPG, and .PNG files. YAY!

By the way, I know that all of us are so very busy this time of year, but I also know that some of that busy-ness comes from putting together gifts and treats for friends, family, teachers, and classmates.  So, why not link up any of those gifts you create or package using PPPR files for a chance to win a Gift Certificate to the PPPR store?  Our Gift Giving Challenge is going on now until January 4, and we would love for you to share your PPPR Gift Giving projects with us.  Click on the photo below to find out all of the details.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today.  I probably won't be around bloggy land much next week since I'll be enjoying some holiday time with family.  But, I'll be back next Friday with some new files and a new freebie.  I hope to see you then. Merry Christmas, everyone!!!

Design Team Day ~ December 18, 2013

Happy ONE WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS, everyone!  Whew! Can you believe it?  I'm super happy to share with you the fun projects my amazing DT created for today.  First, here's what I came up with:

I created this shaped card for my nephew, who is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan.  I simply added a KC logo I found online to this Football Cutting File, and I printed and cut the pieces.  I embossed the front of the card with my Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles embossing folder and inked it up for a little more dimension.

Before I show you all of the projects, I'm so, so sorry to say that today is the last DT day for two talented ladies....Jeanne Siegel and Candace Zentner. I'm so sad to see them go. :(  Here's what these two amazing ladies created:

Birthday Critters and Little Hoot Cutting Files

I'll be adding some new members in January...I'm working on that now. Okay, now, without further ado...here are the rest of the wonderful projects from my Design Team.

PPPR Gift Giving Blog Hop

Hey, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Gift Giving Blog Hop.  My wonderful design team friends and I have created all sorts of beautiful gifts using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) files. We also have some blog candy to share and a fun freebie (just for this weekend).  Oh, and we'll be kicking off a new challenge today.  So, be sure to read on to find out how to join in on all of the fun.

For this hop, I created two little gifts to give some friends this holiday season.

This box is the new Gift Box with Window Cutting File that is this hop's freebie.  The hot cocoa mug is from the PPPR Hot Cocoa Cutting Files.  The pattern on the box is from the PPPR Vintage Christmas White Polka Dots Digital Paper Pack.  I added a sentiment from the Close to My Heart Very Merry Christmas Stamp Set and a pretty snowflake ribbon.  The box holds 3 packets of Hot Cocoa, some marshmallows, and some peppermint sticks.

This is a smaller version of the same box.  The wood grain pattern is from the PPPR Man, Oh Man Pattern Pack 1.  I created the poinsettia using different sizes of a flower from the PPPR Flower Assortment Cutting Files set cut in red and green.  I think it turned out great!  I added some little yellow enamel dots and another sentiment from the Close to My Heart Very Merry Christmas Stamp Set.  Then, I filled it with a little bag of Dove candies.  YUM!!!

Now, if you'd like to try out this file for yourself, you can find it HERE.  It will only be available for free on Saturday and Sunday, but it will be available for purchase in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store after that.

Our hop also kicks off our 7th monthly challenge.  Woot woot!  The theme this month is Gift Giving. Create anything that has to do with Gift Giving using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files as the focus, and link it up for a chance to win a gift certificate to PPPR. The projects can be birthday gifts, holiday gifts, treats for classmates, gift tags...anything that has to do with gift giving. Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and Timeless Twine Holiday Blog Hop

Happy Hump Day, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and Timeless Twine Holiday Blog Hop.  We're creating all sorts of holiday-themed projects using files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) and twine from Timeless Twine.  Plus, we'll have some AWESOME prizes up for grabs (more on that later), so be sure to stop by each and every blog, follow, and leave comments.

Okay, for my projects, I decided to get some more Christmas cards done.  So, I made 3!!!!  I just couldn't help it...I was finding so many fun things to do with this yummy twine!  Here's what I created:

This cute little dog came from the PPPR Birthday Critters Cutting Files set.  I traded out his party hat for this Santa hat from the PPPR Little Hoot Cutting Files set.  The beautiful twine is Timeless Twine's Cherry/Olive Christmas Twist.  I added a pretty doily, some jewels, and a sentiment from Pink by Design's Christmas Wishes Stamp Set, and my first card was all done.

For my second card, I had to add some of this pretty twine to some candies from the PPPR Peppermint Cutting Files set.  I used Timeless Twine's Olive Green & White, Cherry & White, and Aqua Blue twine to cover the peppermints. Then, I added some glossy accents to the wrappers to make them look more wrapper-y.  The sentiment is from a little Inkadinkadoo stamp set I had in my stash.

For my final card, I used a mitten from the new PPPR Christmas Cookies Cutting Files set.  I covered it with this gorgeous Firecracker Timeless Twine.  The sentiment for this one is also from the Pink by Design Christmas Wishes stamp set.

Okay, now.....how about those PRIZES.  One lucky hopper will win a $20 Gift Certificate to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store, and one will win a $20 Gift Certificate to the Timeless Twine Store.  YAY!

Here's what you need to do for a chance to win:

AND

2.  Leave a comment at EACH blog along the hop.  Be sure to let us know you are a follower and leave us your e-mail address.
