PPPR & MCS Spring Blog Hop

Happy Saturday, everyone, and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and My Craft Spot Spring Blog Hop.  Some of the Design Team members from PPPR and MCS have joined together to make some adorable Springy and Easter-y projects using files from PPPR and stamps from MCS. For my projects, I decided to use the fun Butterfly Kisses stamp set from My Craft Spot.  There are such fun and springy sentiments in this set, so I decided to make a couple of cute little cards. Here they are:

I combined the sweet Little Duckling with an umbrella, boots, and a puddle from the Rainy Day Critters set. I also added a pattern from one of my favorite Spring Fling digital paper packs and a shape from the Layered Labels 3 set (for the card base). I think all of these go perfectly with that cute little sentiment from the stamp set. I'm entering this little card in the Die Cuttin' Diva's Umbrella Challenge. I used one of the cards from the Mother's Day Cards set as the base for this springy card. I just removed the text from the card and replaced it with a butterfly from the Spring Garden set....just perfect for this Butterfly Kisses sentiment!  I love how colorful and springy this one turned out to be.  Here are the products I used for my cards:

OUR LAST Design Team Day?!?!? WHAT???

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Welcome to another Design Team Day here at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I'm so excited to say that this will be our LAST DT day!!!  What????  LOL...I'm just excited that we will be switching things up a bit, starting in April, so that we can bring you daily PPPR inspiration here on this blog!  So, we won't have a DT day anymore...but we'll have a project for you each and every day.  Isn't that exciting!?!?!  YAY!  Okay...now I'd love to show you the silly little card I created for today.

I got this silly little chocolate bar from the S'mores Cutting Files Set.  Doesn't he just go perfectly with this sentiment from Pink By Design's Say it Sweet Stamp Set?  I created the card base using a shape from the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files Set, added some doodles and some ribbon, and my silly little card was all done. 

Now, before I show you what my talented Design Team created, I'd like to sadly say that this is the last DT post for Ana Maria Sepulveda from Shorty Creations.  Boo, hoo! We sure will miss having her around and seeing her awesome creations on the PPPR blog.  She'll be back for a hop we're having this Saturday, though, and I'm sure we'll see some of her amazing creations around.

PPPR Just for Kids Blog Hop

Hey, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Just for Kids Blog Hop. My amazing DT and I have created projects that are for or about kids using PPPR files.  I've also created a freebie for you, just for hopping along, and you have a chance to enter to win a $15 Gift Certificate to PPPR on top of that.  Plus, we're kicking off our next monthly challenge.  So, let's get started!

For my projects, I decided to create a couple of birthday cards for kids.  

This card is perfect for that Lego building block lover.  I decided to go with print and cut (I do that a lot, it seems).  I added some little doodles with my white gelly roll pen and some ribbon, and the card was all done.

I also created this fun card with a birthday clown on the front.  This little clown is actually the freebie for this hop.  Click the photo below, and you can go pick up this file for FREE on Saturday, March 15, 2014 and Sunday, March 16, 2014, only. After that, the cute little guy will be for sale in the store.

I used some enamel dots on my card for the balls the clown is juggling.  Then, I added some twine and some glossy accents (for his eyes), and the little card was all done.
