PPPR & MCS Spring Blog Hop

Happy Saturday, everyone, and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and My Craft Spot Spring Blog Hop.  Some of the Design Team members from PPPR and MCS have joined together to make some adorable Springy and Easter-y projects using files from PPPR and stamps from MCS. You don't want to miss one single project, so be sure to visit each and every blog along the way. Plus, hopping along will allow you to enter to win some FABULOUS prizes!

For my projects, I decided to use the fun Butterfly Kisses stamp set from My Craft Spot.  There are such fun and springy sentiments in this set, so I decided to make a couple of cute little cards. Here they are:

I combined the sweet Little Duckling with an umbrella, boots, and a puddle from the Rainy Day Critters set. I also added a pattern from one of my favorite Spring Fling digital paper packs and a shape from the Layered Labels 3 set (for the card base). I think all of these go perfectly with that cute little sentiment from the stamp set. I'm entering this little card in the Die Cuttin' Diva's Umbrella Challenge. You can find all of the links for these products below my project pics.

I used one of the cards from the Mother's Day Cards set as the base for this springy card. I just removed the text from the card and replaced it with a butterfly from the Spring Garden set....just perfect for this Butterfly Kisses sentiment!  I love how colorful and springy this one turned out to be.  Here are the products I used for my cards:

Now, how about some BLOG CANDY????

One lucky hopper will win a $20.00 Gift Certificate to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and another one will win a $20.00 Gift Certificate to My Craft Spot.  How exciting is THAT?  For a chance to win, all you have to do is be a follower of each blog in this hop and leave a comment on each blog letting us know you are. Happy Thoughts

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at the Action Wobbles Blog, and I have a simple card to share with you today.  With all of the snow that's been happening around me, I've been trying to think happy thoughts about spring being right around the corner.  So, I created this clean and simple kite card.

The kite and clouds came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Kite & Clouds Cutting Files set (this week's freebie).  Of course, I put the kite on a fun Action Wobble so it can move in the wind.  I embossed the clouds with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and popped them up with foam tape.  The sweet sentiment comes from Pink by Design's Wonderful Life stamp set.

That's it...super simple!  I hope you like it.  You can get your own Action Wobbles at the Royal Castle Shoppe.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back on Wednesday with some awesome PPPR Design Team projects and some new files for you.  I hope to see you then...have a great day!

Rain or Shine ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge April 20

Happy Friday, everyone!  YAY!  Today marks another Die Cut Challenge over at Stuck on U Sketches.  This challenge's theme is April Showers.  I was so happy to be able to use this super cute file I found in the Silhouette Online Store and cut it with my Silhouette Cameo.  Here's my project:

Isn't that little girl in her rain gear so cute?  The file is called Looks Like Rain.  The card base came from a Thank You Card file, and the ribbon slide came from a Label Frame Tag file, both of which can be found in the Silhouette Online Store.  Oh, and that adorable sentiment came from the Pink by Design Rain or Shine Stamp Set.  I added lots of ink, some ribbon, and some doodles, and my card was all done!  I hope you like it.  :)

Now, it's your turn.  Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, get started on your own April Showers die cut project.  You have two weeks to link up your entry at SOUS. I can't wait to see what you create! :)

Stinkin' of You ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge April 6

YAY!!!  It's Friday...a very GOOD Friday!  Today is my Design Team day over at Stuck On U Sketches.  We have a Spring-Themed Die Cut Challenge that's starting today.  Here's my project:

I got this sweet little skunk in the flowers from the Lettering Delights Peep Squeakers Cut It Set and cut her out with my Silhouette Cameo. Isn't she adorable???  Just perfect for spring.  The fun sentiment came from Pink by Design's Woodland Critters stamp set. I used this label set from the Silhouette Online Store for the card base.  I mirrored the shape and then welded the two together to create a card.  I inked up all of the pieces and added some doodles, and my card was all done.  I hope you like it.

Now it's your turn!  Head on over to Stuck On U Sketches, and link up your own Spring-Themed die cut project. I can't wait to see what you create! :)

Pink by Design Spring Inspiration Blog Hop

Hey, everyone!  Welcome to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, and the Pink by Design Spring Inspiration Blog Hop.  If you are coming from Pink by Design, you are in the right place.  If you've just stumbled upon my post, then I'd love it if you'd start at the beginning, HERE.

This month's Pink by Design Blog Hop/Challenge has a Spring Theme and an inspiration photo.  You can enjoy all of the AWESOME projects in the hop, then you can go create your own project based on the photo and link it up at Pink by Design.  Sarah has something special for one lucky linker. :)  Here's my card and the inspirational photo behind it:

I took my inspiration from the pennant banners, umbrella, and colors from the photo.  I got the bird and umbrella from the Lettering Delights Cloud Nine SVG Set, and I cut them using my Silhouette Cameo.

The beautiful banners are actually stamps from the Pink by Design Small Banners Stamp Set.  I stamped the banners on different patterns of cardstock, trimmed them with my scissors, punched small holes in the top corners, and threaded them onto some Brown Sugar Divine Twine that I purchased from the Pink by Design Store.

Here's a better look at the inside.  You can see that I created the front of the card by cutting the square front in half diagonally.  The sentiment on the card came from Pink by Design's Hoppy Easter Stamp Set.  I've used this one so much lately...I just LOVE it!

Okay, well, I can't be a part of a blog hop without offering a little BLOG CANDY, now, can I?

One lucky follower of my blog will win a Fancy Pants Design It's the Little Things 6x6" Paper Pad!  YAY!!!  Here's what you need to do for a chance to win:

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #9: Easter or Spring

***If you're looking for the Spring Fling Cricut Crawl post, click here. ***

It's time to Celebrate the Occasion!!!  This week, the theme of the CTO challege is Easter or Spring.  The catch is, your project must use a punch.  Here's what I came up with:

For this A2 sized card, I used Make-the-Cut software to cut some Lettering Delights SVG files.  The bunny and mushrooms came from the Good Luck Gnomes set, and the eggs came from the Peep set. I got the cloud from Create a Critter, and I punched the grass with my Martha Stewart grass punch.  Then I added some stitching lines, some Cuttlebug embossing (Pop Culture and Just My Type border sets), and lots of ink.  I believe the background paper came from the DCWV Citrus stack.  I hope you like my little card.  :o)

You should head on over to Celebrate the Occasion to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, join in the fun and enter the challenge yourself.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!  :o)

Fantabulous Cricut Crawl: Spring Fling

Welcome to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and the fifth Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!

It's Spring Time, even though some places may not look like it :) and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to have a Spring Fling!   Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Spring project that includes Pink, Green and Yellow on it along with at least one Cricut cut.

If you've come from visiting Lisa C. at My Lil' Bits, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE.

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Spring Fling" project at FCCB!

How fun is that?

I had so much fun creating my project for the crawl.  Here's what I came up with:

This little cutie is an A2 sized card.  All of the cuts came from Straight From the Nest, but my settings were wrong on my Cricut, or some of the pieces were too tiny, or something, so I had to rearrange and add to some of the flowers.  I think it still turned out to be so cute!  I added ribbon, buttons, a prima flower, brads, lots of ink, and a stamp from Hero Arts, and my little card was all done!  I hope you like it!

Okay, how about some Cricut Crawl CANDY???

I'm giving away a little collection of springy crafting goodness:  a set of ten 5x5" white cards with envelopes, a Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug embossing folder, some star brads, and some springy stickers.  If you'd like the chance to win these goodies, here's what you need to do:

Egg Waterfall Card

The other day, I was browsing around on the SVG Cuts Blog when I noticed that the cutest set of waterfall cards were offered as a special FREE GIFTwhen you spend $9.98 or more in the SVG Cuts store.  So, I couldn't resist, and it didn't take me long to find something else I wanted so I could get this little set for free.  Well, ever since I got this little set, I've been dying to make one of the cards!  I chose to make this cute little Egg Waterfall Card:

This card was so SUPER EASY to make!  All I did was import the SVGs into Make-the-Cut, arrange them on a 12 x 24" mat (just so I could fit everything in one cut--you could do it on a 12 x 12" mat), and cut them out.  Arranging them was even a breeze because they are already broken down by color.  Then, I just had to pick the papers I wanted (all of the patterned papers are from DCWV's Nana's Kids Stack), and cut all of the pieces out.  Assembling it was also easy because there's a great video on the site that shows exactly how to put one of these cards together (this is the 1st waterfall card I've ever made).

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Get in Shape: Jitterbuggin' Challenge
Any Type of Card: Crazy for Cricut
Spring Card: Paper Cutz Challenge
Anything Goes: Party Time Tuesdays

I hope you like my card, because I sure do!  ;o)  Thanks so much for stopping by!  By the way...I'd love it if you'd leave a comment and become a follower if you like what you see on my little blog.  :o)
