It's the Most Wonderful Time...

Hi, Ruth here from Paper and Musings.

Do you enjoy this time of the year? Even with all the hustle and bustle there's so much to love about Christmas!
My project may not look a lot like Christmas, but it's about something that happens every December in my neck of the woods - the Lego Train Show!
I used the awesome Master Builder Cutting Files and Lego Mania Title Cutting Files to create my page.

I used some of the single bricks like picture frames while others are a decorative border near the bottom. The big block of bricks was cut down for my journaling and the block guy and gal anchor each side. Of course, the title - is perfect! I used print and cut for everything (I used photo paper to get that shiny Lego look), but cut some extra pieces to add dimension on different images.

My kids loved Legos, so this is just the beginning of layouts with a Lego theme. How about you? Do you have lots of Lego creations that need a scrappy page to celebrate them? I sure hope you'll have as much fun scrapping your pictures as I did mine.

Happy crafting!

Ruth :-)

Lego Mania Layout

Good Morning!

Melisa here with you this morning.  Today I have a layout to share with you.  Back in January for Matthew's 8th Birthday we took our boys to Legoland.  Matthew's current favorite thing to play with is Legos.  So we knew he would have fun at Legoland.

For my title I used the Lego Mania Title Cutting File.  I paper pieced the title and boy was it a lot of work but it was worth it.  I love all the layers to it.  I also used the Borders 5 Cutting file for my wave border on the left of the layout.

The Lego Guy and Lego Blocks were from the Master Builder Cutting File.  It's kind of hard to tell in the picture but everything is popped up on Pop Dots.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great rest of the week.

Melisa
