TGIF, everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful Friday, and that you are keeping warm. I don't know about where you live, but Colorado has seemed to welcome winter a little early. There's snow, snow, everywhere! I'm not budging, though....I am staying in fall mode until after Thanksgiving! Happy Thursday! I'm sharing this cute card using the Leafy Faces Cutting Files and Man, Oh Man Pattern Pack 1 Digital Paper Files. I am a sucker for smiling things, so this leaf was perfect for this post.

I included some close ups of course. One of my favorite things to do is to add clear adhesive to the eyes and chela to make them look extra super happy and cute.

Happy Birthday Chic!

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope this post finds you well and that you're all having a great day. Sarah here I am a little disappointed to report that we had our first snow here in MN.  Ugh!  I always think I'm going to be prepared for that first snow fall...but I never am :)  So I am just trying to stay warm and hope that the sun keeps shining and it warms up... a girl can dream.   So today is my day designing here and I hope you love my little birthday treat box.  I love this little box--it's just so perfect for a little treat.  And a special shout-out to my friend Sarah!  See you tomorrow friend!!!

You're Corny

Hello PPPR Friends!

 

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing with you a "corny" Fall shaped card.

 

I know there are Christmas decorations up at all the stores and Santa's in the malls, but we can't forget about fall and the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday.

 

I made this "corny" Acorn card using the "Goofy Acorn" from the "Acorn Faces" cutting files.

 

 

Details:

I cut the pieces as shown (but at 80%) and cut an extra main piece to use as the card back.

The acorn top I embossed and added some brown ink for texture.

I used some brown/white twine and tied a bow for a bit of detail.

The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom "Let's Talk Turkey" stamp set.

 

I hope this card gives you a little inspiration to create some fun Fall projects.  Don't forget to link them up for this month's challenge :)

You Light Up My Life

Leah Schaeffer here today! Hope you all had a great weekend!  Pretty sure I'm not the only one kinda stumped on how the heck we are well into November already! And if that's not confusing enough my husband (yes, you read that right) is obsessed with shopping for Christmas early so we've already done about half the shopping! LOL! Luckily that just frees me up for more crafty time! Perfect!
And what have I done with my time? Created this sweet little monster card for a little one in my life or maybe even one of my girlfriends! Who knows!  I think anyone would like this cutie! 

 I added this extra picture because I wanted to show how I added a bit of glitter to the background behind the top layer of the monster. As well as to the lantern and black border on the shaped piece.
