Behind on Birthdays!

Hello my crafty friends--Sarah  here with you all today!!  Today I am sharing a couple of birthday cards with you all!  I am soooo behind on getting cards in the mail... just when I think I am ahead of the game....I'm not :)  Lots of things happening around my house so I've been a bit busy and been neglecting my crafting!  Hoping in the next couple of weeks to have things packed up and then unpacked and settled in in order to get back to crafting!!

This little shark is super stinkin' cute and perfect for our godson's birthday!

Birthday Girls

Hi friends, Leah Schaeffer here to share my favorite PPPR project to date! Hope you like it as well! This sweet little card did pretty well at my county fair as well! Yay for ribbons! I created this in particular for my youngest sister who turned 25 (whoa, I've had this card for almost 2 months without posting it yet! How could I stand that! LOL!)
    Ok, well onto the card!

As darling at this little girl was, I wanted to give her a different hair do. Something a bit more ethnic feeling. Easy to do with the extra files the shop has! You'll see the example below with the photos of the cutting files I used.

Oh my! The shine! This card is so pretty! No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the sparkle to really shine for the photos. But the shirt, hair bow and yellow on the cake are covered in Wink of Stella. Not to mention the bling-ed out background!

The starburst cutting files are some of my favs in the shop. How I only came up with this idea now, I have no idea. It took some serious time but I did the background in steps. The darker shade was shaped with a star background pattern and dusted with Perfect Pearls. The lighter shade was stamped and dusted but with a different stamp and color of Perfect Pearls. Then over all that, I used a balloon stencil with Versamark. It was my first time using an embossing powder that once heated turns sticky. That was the perfect base for all that glitter! This background is easily my favorite background I've ever created!

Okay, now let me share the files I used!

Ballerina Thank You Card

Happy Monday, Nicole here today.  I have a thank you card to share with you.  My middle daughter and I recently got back from a one week dance intensive in Houston and we needed to thank a few people who helped us achieve the goal of being able to attend this workshop.  I had been "bothering" Lisa for some ballet/dance related files and was so excited when she created this ballet outfit for the dress up girls!!

Hope Your Day Sparkles

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a wedding card I made using the super cute PPPR "Dress Up Girl Wedding Dress" Cutting Files and PPPR "Dress Up Girls" 1 Cutting Files. Just incase you didn't know Lisa also now has her very own line of stamps, and that's where I got the sentiment from. It's from the "Little Eagle" stamp set. You can check out the store HERE and the blog HERE. I had so much fun putting this card together and I love the way it came out. I used clear embossing on the sentiment along with Memento Rose Bud ink. iRock for earrings and Star Dust Stickles on her dress and tiara.
What I used:
Memento Rose Bud ink
clear embossing
 iRock
Star Dust Stickles
Before I go I just want to remind you about the awesome sale going on now.

We also have a Vacation challenge that is going on now. You can link up your project HERE.

Hey Girlfriend!

Good Morning!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here with you this morning.  Today I have a card to share with you.  I've been trying to make some extra cards to keep in my stash.  It seems like I have too many of one themed cards and not enough of another.  So I thought I would make a card to send to a girlfriend who may need some cheering up.

I used the Star Spangled Cards Cutting File for my card base.  The adorable little girl is from the Dress Up Girls 1 Cutting File.  Her dress is from the Valentine Kids Cutting File.  I did have to stretch her dress a little bit to make sure it was wide enough to cover her body.  Her shoes & flower in her hair are from the Dress Up Girl Pink Dress Cutting File.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
