Picture Perfect birthday

Hi fellow crafters..
It's Nanné here today to share a fun shaped card I created using one of the camera's from the Vintage Camera cutting files..

Here is the card I created:

shaped cards are pretty simple to create using the Silhouette software.. You only need to add a few shadows around it, then flipping one image and welding them together to create the card base..
I am sure some of the other Electronic paper cutter software's share a similar feature..

I found some free fonts on my computer that I used to create the sentiment..

I was going for the flash of the camera flash using the Superhero words cutting file and
then editing the text..

and there you have a quick and simple, yet fun shaped card :)

Thanks for stopping by today

Sprinkled with Love card

Hi fellow crafters..
It's Nanné here today to share a cute little shaped card I created using the yummy banana split cutting file :)

Here is what I created:

Its easy to create your own shaped cards using the images from the pretty paper, pretty graphics store..
*I use the Silhouette design software and my Cameo to cut my images..
I first created the shadow  (in the software) by clicking on the "offset icon" and making it 0.100 in size, then used red card stock.
Once I had that done, I did it again, this time making the size 0.200.. which created the bigger shape which I then copied and flipped to create the back of the card.. welding the two bigger pieces together at the top..

I added my image to the red background using foam tape, but before attaching my image I used "studio" white paint to add the dots around my image and then added some details as well, like the whip cream etc

I used some free fonts I have and printed the sentiment right onto the image before I did print and cut..

A-maze-ing Birthday shaped card

Happy Tuesday fellow scrappers and card makers..
It's Nanné here from Nanne's Creations and I have a shaped card to share with you today.
I've been so busy working on fall and Halloween themed projects, so I really needed a little break from all of that and so created this fun Birthday shaped card using the Movie Popcorn cutting file..
Here is what I created:

I took the bottom layer of the cutting file, copy and pasted, then flipped it horizontally, welding the two of them together to create the flip of the card and creating the shape..
afterwards, I just cut everything as is, chalked the edges of the die cuts and glued them in place.. adding a little doodle detail with a white gel pen :)

How about a few close ups:

here is the top of the card, with all of the yummy popped kernels :)

a fun title I created using some free fonts I have on my computer and
then movie strips are a cutting file from the SIL store.

and finally my favorite part, the little dab of butter..
This cute little dab of butter is on the Bread and Butter cutting file.
I like my popcorn buttered, how about you?..LOL

and there ya have my cute little shaped card..
so simple to create, hope you give it a try..
till next time
